If she was a healer, she might have stopped to admire the wildflowers. She might have even gathered them to take back to Elysium, but Tallulah was no medic-minded woman. She approached the water's edge instead, staring at the depths. Too far away from the pack that gave her asylum, she knew that by the time she reached the border the fish would spoil. This was purely selfish; to further her own survival.
The woman liked to fish when possible. It wasn't her favorite way of hunting, but she could do it well enough. The cool breeze of autumn felt nice, ruffling her fur, despite the rain. It would at least hide her scent from the fish and other prey. Leaning over, she let the dark clouds obscure her features from above. Once a fat little fish came along, she darted a paw into the depths. She scooped it out with a splash! Stunned as it hit the ground, she dove and killed it quickly.
Unaware someone else may be around, she went back to the water and continued to fish a second time.
