She awoke as if she was stirring from a nap. Softly; as her limbs outstretched and she rolled onto her back in the grass toes splaying a big yawn breaking from her maw.
The girl would shake her head blinking baby blue eyes and blinking them a bit faster when she didn't realize where she was. Autumn snapped awake now, although it was more confusion that riddled her than alarm; she had spent most of her life traversing unfamiliar terrain and new places.
She just...wasn't sure how she'd arrived in this one. And winter still clung to the land ─ and she didn't know where her den was. All her stores, all of her food supply. The girls heart thrummed a little louder as she pushed herself to her feet taking a survey three hundred and sixty degrees around her.
But none of it helped. It was all just endless waves of rolling hills covered with frost that glimmered under the morning sun.
And then a realization that did make her panic hit her like a mack truck. Where was Orla?
