found the apple of my eye

The Everfrost. A place too beautiful for its own good. And they got to call it home!

When not commanded to remain within what was once their whelping den, the young princess took it upon herself to explore. Granted, she never ventured too far to where she couldn't still catch the voices of her mother and father. But it was enough to allow her some semblance of freedom and solace. 

The more she walked, the more she was convinced that this land couldn't have been more perfect for them to choose to build their legacy on. Together, they would flourish. And she couldn't wait to be present to watch it happen.

Who knows — one day, she may among those that step up to aid in taking charge.

Ordella, on the other hand, did not care about their legacy, nor where they called home. She was happy they were all together again, sure, but all the other nonsense was just annoying. bothersome. tiring to hear about over and over again. perhaps that was why she got into so much trouble, but who could blame her? 

her sister. 

ordella smirked, sneaking above her on an outcropping of rock and snow, where ordella could see vaelithra, but vaelithra could not see her. this was how the little shadow liked it anyway but today's sneaking held intent. and that intent was found in a bank of soft and powdered snow. 
 

with a grin, ordella disturbed the gathering of snow until it slid towards the edge, gathering up a bit more as it went until it fell,

right on top of her sister.

One minute, she was walking peacefully.

But the next, she was covered in a pile of freezing snow.

Yelping in surprise, she shimmied and wiggled, digging herself out of the heap. Shaking her darkened coat free of the powder, she snapped her head around, searching for the culprit—whether it be mother nature, or someone looking to pick a fight.

A sharp glare landed on a figure above that stood out. Ordella.

Of course it had to be her own damned sister!

Lip curling back, she loosed a challenging snarl, daring her blood to pick a better fight. One that would demand she give blood in return for repentance.

Vaelithra thought she'd back down from such a prissy display? Not a chance. The baring of teeth did not shake her in the least.

Ordella descended gracefully from her heights above her prim sister, landing in the snow with a puff of powdered ice bursting into the air around her. “Yes?” She asked, sarcastically sweet as she batted her eyelashes. “Can I help you with something?”
