Khepri

 Evening had crept over the desert. Though their people were still acclimating, Rashepses drew his wife up to rose-hewn peak and pushed her down into the sands. With the last of the sun went the last of King’s care to repress himself.

 Rashepses wanted to know if his wife tasted just as good in this life.

 With a fanged grin he sunk himself between @Toula's legs and plied her thighs with eager lappings.

 the Gods were with them. They had brought them here, whole and hale and some looked as though years had left them! it felt her prayers were answered, and all curses upon them had been lifted. other than her people, Toula had dug free from the earth the gift her father had first given her that offered her protection.
 with this new life came old desires, too. every time she looked to her husband her heart leapt into her throat! they had been good leaders, and good parents both this day—all rested now, settling after the chaos and commotion. she kissed her children atop their crowns and rest alongside her husband.
 except she could not sleep! just as she was about the wake him, she opened her eyes to meet the gilt of his own. she suppressed a laugh only for as long as they were within hearing distance of the rest,
 and then she could no longer withhold the girlish giggle that bubbled forth! joy, insurmountable joy—well, no, because it grew all the more as she felt him begin to administer his affections upon her! pushed into the sands, Toula gasped softly—and when he stood poised between her legs like that, when he looked at her that way… “Rashepses,” she whispered, her eyes darkened with desire! consume me!

 He descended, not yet with the intent to couple them— but for his kiss to rover the blushing belly which had housed their children in her maternal fortitude.

 Moonily he gazed into the nile-eyes, stricken by her pale beauty and driven to a verge by witness of his wife’s pleasure. Slowly he trailed a heavy paw down over her stomach, grazing each hip before settling firmly upon her, applying pressure in spates.

 “Have you considered it, my love? Two Pharaohs,” he nuzzled his grin into her jaw.

 Rashepses had not reawakened to be called a King.

 with each touch, she felt as though she ascended. it was always this way—she did not think it was possible for it to end. no, now she knew it would not. before he spoke his questions she marveled to him, with him, “lifetimes, my love!” and if this was not proof of Their divinity, Their promise, she did not know what else ever could be! and together, They had the power to protect their people, to bring them to this place!
 had she considered it? “I have thought much of it,” she wanted it, truth be told. “but I must think a little longer still,” for she had never seen it before! “have you seen it done, Raemka?” she wondered to him, curbing her desire long enough to speak with him on what she knew mattered in his heart!
 but she could not resist one more kiss where her lips lingered, her eyes sparkling all the while.

 “An eternity,” the man murmured in kind, the rhythm of their parallel cuffs tolling music as he traced a paw up to entwine with her’s. They were bare, clad in naught but the oath of devotion, all their god-given riches entombed forever within the red mesa.

 He wanted to see his wife clad again in furs, with gold and silver, and every kind of precious stone glossing her neck; floral headdresses to lay her crown; chokers, armlets and bangles for every limb; sacred vessels and royal ornaments to line her rooms.

 “No, my sweet,” he leaned into her kiss, “but I had never seen a woman-Pharaoh before my wife. I had never remembered the sibylline magic of rebirth before today. I had never known love before this,” the fiery words, his true-name of her lips wounded him! The king’s paw bore stronger against her, drumming quicker.

 “We are the first of many things, Toula.”

 her eyes twinkled at his words. how much they both had not seen—and then seen together! he had elevated her, she too would elevate him. playful, she said, “the women-Pharaohs in my family are known to be fierce,” but was that not the truth? her aunt had a reputation that many knew, even if they had not seen her for themselves. Makono… her reign had not lasted long, but she had made a name for herself and it was not at all delicate in its nature!
 but among them, Toula had been the one to rule two lands. to bring more peace to her people, to grant new freedoms. she leaned into her husband. “tell me, what would you do as Pharaoh, should I grant this?” what were his dreams? there seemed to be no question of if here—not then! a soft kiss to his lips, encouraging.

 “Fierce,” he purred, flouncing her rich velvet with his paw, eyes a searing challenge. He wished to see his Toula writhe in her lion’s ferocity, as he did now.

 Rising, Rashepses guided his wife onto her belly. Teeth found purchase of her nape and he gathered her up against himself, hooking the long arms about her waist.

 “My first act as Pharaoh— to make you pregnant again,” the king grins into her cheek as she conforms to him. “Then I will build you a kingdom, Toula.” Grander than the mesa. Larger.

 “The Wedjat, @Khusobek… he will make a strong a leader,” the riverking growls bemusedly, “for Mereo—”
