The man had continued to carry the child, @Arcane, though the mountains and up to the tundra, still rather unsure what to do with him. Sure, he could probably deposit the kid with @Reiko but at the same time, he was pretty sure she had enough children to deal with and he had given them so many tiger cubs to deal with already. So instead, he kept the kid with him, every now and then setting them down so he could hunt. Which was exactly what he was doing now. 

During this whole time, he really hadn't spoken much to the child, instead just providing him with what he needed and watching the cub with confusion in his face. He wasn't exactly sure how to be a 'father' and this kid didn't really seem all that thankful either.

^^Nothing to see here, just two tigers; one giant adult, carrying a smaller one with different coloration… who was also the size of a medium sized dog.* Arcane could walk, but you know, if this guy was going to carry him, then Arcane wasn’t about to say no to a free ride.

For free meals.

He was too young still to hunt on his own, so this dude fed him. Didn’t really talk to him, maybe he thought Arcane didn’t know how to speak? Didn’t matter though, did it? He ate the food in silence, did his own thing unless Rajani was carrying him.

So he would eat his food and bide his time.

He was safe, at least he thought so, for now.

The man had caught the meal quite easily and brought it back to the child, setting the fresh carcass down before moving to lay down not too far away. Laying his head down, he would yawn for a moment, surprisingly tired after bringing the child back up north. The whole time, he hadn't really slept much as he typically slept in trees or in the water and, well that wasn't safe for a child now, was it? 

So, now that he was back up north where he felt comfortable, he would find himself slowly falling asleep, though keeping ears out in case someone approached them. After all, he wasn't worried about the cub. What could a cub do to him being hardly the size of his face? Nothing. And so, he finally relaxed, figuring that the cub would do the same. That's what children did, right? Eat and sleep?

^^Arcane sat there and just looked around like he always did, when dude went hunting. There wasn’t much else to do; sometimes, if he was feeling adventurous, he might move a few feet.

Sometimes he curled up and slept.

He had today, taking a mini nap when food was dropped off. Yes, very good; Rajani was clearly very trained in this. Arcane went to town on the food, and looked up and… big boy was asleep.

He licked over his lips and looked around.

His nose twitched, he pretended to eat some more, waiting for big dude to start snoring or something.

Once that happened, Arcane picked up the remains, and traveled north.

He was going home.

At least, that's where he thought he was headed.

The man quickly fell asleep, curling himself into a ball as he did so and he certainly did not snore. Okay, maybe a little. 

His ears flicked as he thought he heard something, but was too far into his dream to care, figuring that the boy would scream if he was in danger. However, when he finally did wake, he would glance around confused. The kid was gone. At first, he though that someone had snatched him, but a quick survey of his surroundings and the lack of another scent made him think that the kid left. He was confused as to why he would do that, though he clearly took the kill with him. What an ungrateful little shit. 

Nonetheless, the man would growl and shake his head, not bothering to go after the kid. If he wanted to run away and be eaten by a wolf, then that was on him. Rajani certainly wasn't going to go out of his way to protect him a second time.
