She was slightly surprised to forget such an area ; although close to both the plains and deserts.. It simply had been forgotten on her mind. Uriel had been travelling closer to the east, to the mountains and to the tundra, often avoiding certain areas like further south, and to the desert. The heat over there was awful, especially as somehow was now at it's prime.. At least the field here, wasn't close close. She looked back at @"Lorcan Altaire" and wondered if his interests lay in such sceneries. He seemed of a man that belong ed within fresh pines.

They approached, the sunflowers all facing in a singular direction, always toward where the sun rose. Though now it was setting, far behind them that casted a shadow to their drooping appearance. Glossed in a golden beauty, just as pretty as the glade was, and maybe for a moment Uriel thought even more so. She stepped closer to it, her head inching inside the field as she breathed in lightly ; the smell of sunflowers enfolding them.

Lorcan had followed the woman through the edges of the glade to some place further within the plains. To where exactly, he didn't know. It would be quite the exciting journey for him to find out once he gets the courage to head back to the mountains.

The sunflowers were magnificent, he had to admit. They faced the direction of the setting sun, beginning to droop in its absence, but they still had a moment of excellence. Lorcan broke free of standing beside Uriel, walking past her and brushing his shoulder against hers, to envelop himself in the soft scent of sunflowers. They were a much more earthy than the sweetness he was used to with jasmine or hyacinth, but nonetheless cleansing of the senses.

The man would lower his nose to one of the heads of the sunflowers, taking a soft inhale. He'd return his gaze back to Uriel's, grey iris' glittering in the hue of the soft orange of the sun, "Don't just stand there, angioletta, join me, hm?" His infatuating smile that earned him a dime upon a dozen flickered towards her, hoping that she felt the same magnetism.

He stepped forward, deeper in the orchid of sunflowers, and she followed within his step. They were so tall that it was hard to push her ahead above their height, like the world around was now hard to see through the rustling of these flowers. A wind brushed by, fur wisping lightly in the process and she smiled at him with a beam of.. Enjoyment. It had been some time since she had felt peace, and for a moment Uriel was ever-so thankful to meet another, who enjoyed spending time. With her.

Many she met who came and left, many moments that also left her within dread. It was hard to stay happy, to stay at peace when it seemed like everything around her continued to crumble, when she always had — nothing.

"Do you sing? Moments like these makes one want to howl to the heavens." Feeling the embrace of the wind through her fur and the smell of sunflowers, as gently the sun shined to them both, it made one feel like they should run through the fields, rejoicing and singing like everything in the world was.. Alright.

Just for once, everything was fine.

Lore was pleased when she took his invitation to join at his side. He'd look at her from the corner of his eye, flickering up and down her lithe body. He had began to learn about her now— her habits, who she really was. She was docile, for sure. He should've learned that instantaneously once she walked off the ledge of that cliff— but he gave her credit, maybe it was an off-day. But no, as time continued, she simply...did as she was told. It made Lorcan internally purr, but also think negligibly about others who would abuse such obedience.

The man would merely watch as she lifted her head into the wind, her lapels of sunshine-stained fur flying through the wind graciously. It was mesmerizing. Watching someone, watching her feel so free under the dying sunlight and the growing emblem of stars in the sky.

At her request of a song, he would freeze, eyes widening. "...I don't sing well, angioletta, but a chance to hear your voice? I wouldn't pass that opportunity to anyone." Lorcan would coo, taking a few steps closer to her. A magnetism drew him to her, an indomitable force that wrapped around him; choked him. But he allowed it. "I'm a selfish man, cara, make no mistake." Lorcan practically purred the words on the edge of his tongue. His voice— sultry and laced with lust,— came closer to the corner of her ear. A few inches of from her face. The sweetening, spiney smell of grass blades began to grow on him. Yet, only for a little while longer would he suffocate beneath her delicate paws and those milk-grey eyes that sparkled in reflection of his own.

"Don't get shy on me, cara mia, this was your little date idea after all..." He smirked, a toothy grin that blemished softly against his cheeks. Lore never spoke a lie— he truly wanted to hear her sing, maybe even dance with her, too.

He often spoke of words she knew not, small nicknames here and there Uriel did not ask, but enjoyed the sound of. She was given a variety by different strangers, some she knew of within the English-tongue, but others she never knew and could only take within a silence. She was embarrassed, even shy, but was afraid a comment would interject in such moments for getting a pet name was a small joy for her by any. Perhaps around, three in total, do so.

"What language do you speak?" but so often did he say, words that were trouble to understand, "i'm afraid I only know one." Although the thought of learning was quite enticing.. She didn't know where to start, much less a teacher. Finding one for herbal knowledge was hard all together, and the best that Uriel did was learn here and there from a variety of different wolves. Then to start — what language should she learn?

Oh, right, yes, she was going to sing. Although now being put on spot, Uriel felt her mouth grow dry and rather embarrassed. For a moment the world really did want one to howl to the heavens, but now alone with her own self, she was fumbling lightly where to start. Her paws shuffled, as she looked down, her head within her chest, "Oh, I.. Don't know many songs, but I can at least howl." It'd be a lie to say that she didn't, for majority of wolves could howl within song.

Ah.

Oh. Was this a date? Did she ask him out on a date? That wasn't her intention ; she couldn't be that bold, or did she? Her paws were awfully sweaty, and her cheeks felt flushed. Her body basically emitted like the sun itself as she realized what she had done. A simple outing to sunflower fields, to show a polite wolf what was around ; was that not a definition of a date? When did she..

Uriel got too bold. She was a bit speechless, to say the least, on this realization. Embarassed! Like a fawn within the spotlight. Her ears twitched up and down rather frantically.

The man's eyes wouldn't leave hers. Such a intense connection that he forged, one that he would continue to fight for, follow to the outlands. Her shy and demure attitude had perplexed him even more, but he liked the reactions he gave her. She was so attentive— observant, even. It was impressive, but he had to wonder exactly how long she'd been on her own for. Days...months...years. The time was endless it seemed, and the pristine condition of the glade would only convince him as such.

The golden plumera looked toward him, soft words coming from her lips. She'd asked about his language— the oh-so sweet tenderness of his words finally pinched her nerves enough to ask, huh? His laugh that followed her saccharine idiom had been raspy, deep within the tonsils of his throat. "Italiano," his words were tender, almost like he was touching her. "I speak two. But all romances languages can be understood by one another, cara." His words were meant to reassure her— slightly. She looked devastated, embarrassed that she didn't speak another language. Her demeanor became minute, small, and rather distasteful. Lorcan sought to draw out the little beast that resided in her. He knew it was there somewhere, lingering in her, and it wanted to come out.

It was clear to him that Uriel may have never been on a date. She shuttered away into herself, a hot red blush beating on her cheeks, tail wrapped behind her legs at the mere mention of them together. Lorcan's pupils were blown wide, struck with a desire he merely only had a taste of once before. He liked the way she was so reactive, so impishly innocent, feigned for such a darkening fate if she continued to dance around him; wanting to sing, run through a field of gilded flowers, be with him. It all costed a price.

Lore would tsk. "Angioletta," he would purr, coming closer to her. Their shoulders touched. His head crooned to her. "You're so pretty when you blush." His words were soft, gentle, sultry. He'd chuckle once, teeth shimmering, before he brought his head away from her. Hopefully that wasn't too overwhelming. The thought grasped the edges of his mind: had she ever been touched? Kissed? Loved? She seemed so...foreign to it. Every movement of interpersonal connection she would blush, ears flickering, tail wagging. It fueled him to continue.

His mind howled. Eyes golden, shimmering brighter than they ever had as they were set struck on the rebirth sole before him. Such a petite woman, dangling on a thread at the crux of his paws.. "Sing for me, pretty girl."

"I.." She stuttered, mouth opening and closing like the words were attempting to come forth by mind couldn't function to preform such an activity. Her ears were fluttering, embarrassment, shyness and she just — wasn't sure how to respond ; not to one so bluntly in flirtation. Uriel had others do the same, although at the time didn't realize so as it was so vague she simply thought it was but a charm, a persona, and a politeness rather then something else altogether.

"I can't i'm embarrassed." Her reaction? To run.

A coward at heart, when she couldn't face a situation or know how to comprehend it, at times she would then end up fleeing. Although the fight against the walrus was a step, it was not a moment to think, only to act and help. Once it was over.. She ran from them all and fled into the glade, were many hadn't seen the golden girl since except for the occasional trips near and wide, but hesitance to go deeper into the tundra.

She turned her heels and started to run into the flower fields, to disappear into the long flowers and grass and hide in the mixture in an attempt to rejuvenate her rather shy soul, and gather her sprites to look at him once more ; and yet his flirty words and compliments were coming to her head that she thought just made, he liked her. But that was foolish to think, Uriel thought ; she didn't see herself as someone who could be looked at so lovingly, not like how @Tiberius looked at @Olive, or the way @Niklaus sometimes looked toward the mountains. Even the looks between the unknown flame mistress @Valmúa between the tiger @Kuhn was something to observe ; and she could not see herself in anyway, like them.

Even if.. She dreamed one day of that.

But today? Uriel ran away from Lore.

Lorcan practically waited ambiently on the edge of his seat, teetering closer to an edge as the golden woman before him contemplated his pleadings. Except what followed from her beautiful lips was nothing. She stuttered, flushed, and then bolted straight out of his sights through the field of dazzling sunflowers. His ears perked up right, a brow raised, and a soft huff coming from the back of his throat.

Really, angioletta?

Lore's tongue prodded at the inside of his cheek, testing his patience. His decision was quick, however, no hesitation behind it. He bolted after her. Through the flower fields they went, almost an endearing dance of strangers meeting for the first time. Up and down, side to side, it didn't matter. Lore was hot on Uriel's trail, following that mystique scent of tangy blades of grass. It wasn't hard for him to catch up to her either. She had been smaller than he was— quite unfortunate— but he took it with a grain of salt, huffing and puffing after such a long sprint.

When he caught up to her, he took it upon himself to step in front of her. Yes, in front of a fast moving wolf. They'd collide nonetheless, body on body. He wouldn't move. Lore's heels were planted into the ground, firm on their stake. "Why did you run?" He'd ask, his voice heavy with gasps of air to calm his burning muscles. His ears flew to the back of his head, almost embarrassed himself. "Why?" He'd ask again, softer this time, afraid that she may do it again.

Into the sunflowers she was, she didn't want to be found or soon and be awkward within the maze of so. She would assume with her more shameful appearance, that he'd return to elsewhere or the glade. Uriel beat herself up on the decision, finding it quite rude, but within her running pace she knew that she couldn't go back, feeling far too embarrassed on what seemed to be dubbed, as a date. Especially so in the enjoyment of so, even was to sing! Lightly, was she cringing at herself.

But her attempt to flee was not successful, and Lore was quick to catch up in pursuit. He was tall, long-legged with quick strides that wasn't surprising to any, and lightly did they collide. The smell of cedar and hyacinths caught her nose.

Felt like prey in a snake's coil, unable to run by the force before her, "I'm," but what was she to say, what wasn't already said? Uriel was embarrassed, for taking him out to a sunflower and being it dubbed a date of so. Her mouth was dry, unable to say anything that she felt was the 'right' answer. Only a wide-eyed stare at the man.

Life was moving too fast and she wasn't sure how much she could handle it.

Their bodies collided, skin against fur, and the woefully consuming smell of her indulged him.  She looked panicked. Overall terrified by the mere presence of him. His eyebrow cocked upwards, confused, but huffing.

"Cara," He took a step backward, separating them. If she wanted space, then she would get space. He put a few feet between them, his head angled down to look towards her. Wide, scared, silver eyes stared back at him. "I'm sorry," He'd begin to turn from her, the sunflower field drooping as the sun was beginning to set.

He'd nose one of the flowers, getting a strong whiff of the pollen, and shake his head lightly.

Her heart drummed, a thumping going a million miles per house as she looked at him, his scent, his face, his touch, that just so was taken away from her. A moment of warmth that was gone and his face twisted lightly, but turned away just as quick before she could see. Guilt, was riddling lightly as he apologized but she didn't have the heart to reach out, to express how she felt for the embarrassment was immense for the golden wolf ; to accurately present how her state was, was a near impossible feat for someone so riddled with unease, that what she did was..

Watch him walk away with ducked ears — for once, she knew she did this to herself, and the guilt was there.
