Northern mountains almost into the tundra, south of the Moving Gardens.
It felt good to be back on the road again, to expand her horizons and to see what more was out there. To fall back into the routine of a loner was easy enough and it was made even easier with the aid of Rosencrantz. Two was better than one, after all.
They had been travelling steadily northward, to paths that she hadn’t crossed yet. Paths that she was eager to get too. However, she would lead them away from “Northfall”. The pack that Vendrussel had warned her about. It as not worth possibly crossing paths with unreasonable wolves. So, northeasterly was the direction that she recommended. Through the familiar mountains to the slightly more unfamiliar tundras. It was different from the oceans that she loved but somewhere that she was not opposed to. Who knew if they’d even stay? They might just turn back around and head towards another direction, it all really depended on what they felt.
It was nice to have that freedom but stability was more important to her. Stability afforded more safety. Just as travelling with someone did and being in a pack did even more. She didn’t have to speak such things to the white wolf, she knew that he already knew. Their minds worked similarly, and it was because of this that she even came along with him. He was calm, he was logical, she didn’t have to prattle with pointless small talk.
It was so peaceful.
