Timed forward to the 23rd. Day 1 of heat.
[narrow width=700]
Into the Temperate she had returned, a ghostly shadow. It had been too long since she had roamed these forests, this tainted forests with their foul, barbaric men and their heretical women. A fire within her had drawn her this way, despite the fire that held her new home from above. The desert was safety within danger, protection within jaws that meant to ravage.
So she escaped with the exhale of the western winds, roaming while her followers grew.
She made her way through the mists, keeping a good distance from the land the man of the mist claimed but remaining hidden within the fog nevertheless. The witch's paws took her towards the place she had met her mirror image, a man who was so like herself she wondered if he was her other half, split spirits long ago.
He had been the one to tell her of the man-who-stank-of-a-thousand-corpses and the bitch-queen whose hooved whore she had met and spoken with, solidifying the knowledge of the purity-killers. Truly, he had been one of the first who she had encountered and enjoyed the presence of, other than the fellow cannibal she had shared meal with in the north.
So into the mist she roamed, wondering if she would find her way back to @Caligula or if he would find her first in the light of the full moon.
