contrary to the title, she isn't leaving.

Curiously enough did the behemoth once more descend from the mountain. Though she did stray too far, with Vanderfell's summit still being a good eyeview away, and the territory less then an hour walk away. As peaceful as it was, she couldn't deny being bored a lot, as there wasn't too many she could count as 'drinking buddies.'

There was Hiero, but the fucker was so googly-eye at the Queen that it was just disgusting to even look at him sometimes. She couldn't relate to him in that sense, and while at times someone pleasant to talk to.. He was the only one. There was a guy who simply vanished one day, and the Queen was rather disgruntled about them - especially since their numbers were rather low.

Wow.

Orlaith needed friends.

The blueberry was in season right now, the tree varmint was busy stuffing his face with as much as he could handle.  A wave of fear washed over the racoon as he realized he was on the ground, and there was a very huffy sounding canine coming his way. Quickly, Danni shoved another load of sweet berries into his greedy maw before scampering up a nearby pine.   Getting a better look, he saw her coming, this was going to be good.

He was in position --   "Heeey..."  He called out from above, flicking a blueberry from his perch.  She looked aggravated, some entertainment was in store one way or another.

What's with all the talking animals? While her memories were shattered (twice at that), she knew for certain until recently no animal have spoken to her. It somewhat disturbed Orlaith, she couldn't imagine if her prey happened to scream at her - she would go vegetarian. Even though many times did she find that lifestyle often laughable, and unsustainable, it would be much preferred then someone of the same language screaming at her as she would plan to eat them.

Fighting? Killing the other? Something about that was far easier then the factor of killing to eat them, even if they screamed stop. Though this one instead of screaming in fear from a wolf, they threw a blueberry at her. She couldn't help but turn around and glare at the raccoon, a snapping of jaws, "the fuck you want."

Great!  He found an angry one.  Danni always enjoyed pissed off wolves, there was only so much they could do foaming at the mouth at the base of his tree.  Literally looking down at them as they seethed in anger was pretty damm fun.  This one would probably not be able to control themselves, should be different to the last one, was her name @Leta ?   Anyway, he had a new one to play with.

"Hey, you should chill, its not good for your health to be so pissy." Danni said with a smile, as he sat atop his tree, passing a berry between his fingers

"What do you know about health when your a damn raccoon?" Her nape fur ruffled upwards in a rather rage, but she couldn't find an appropriate outlet to really snap at when the other creature was in a place she could not reach. A raccoon lecturing here was not something Orlaith ever thought would happen, but it definitely pissed her off. She approached the tree with a steady growl, looking upwards and circling it..

She'd find a way.

"OOOOH, that was a smart one!"   Danni taunted, making light of the angry comeback. An expression of cheerful, and mischievous joy came over him, as he had found his victim.  "I bet the rest of the mutts, call you the smart one huh?" He continued, sarcastically while keeping his body language somewhat relaxed.  He smiled at her; boink, flicking another blueberry to the frothing wolf below.

"You should eat some berry, they will calm miss angry down, especially the rotten ones."

She'd eat him.

She will eat him. Orlaith in her mind found it alright to speak to any creature that spoke of same-tongue as long as they weren't another wolf, otherwise, she found the intelligent raccoon as free-range prey. Her paws stood at the tree, body stretched as high as she could make it while aggressively barking at them. She even aggressively headbutted the blueberry that flung against her; giving the warrior an idea.

Dropping down back to fours she stepped a bit backwards, staring at the racoon with an irritated, but confident look now. She continued stepping back, an appropriate length before.. Rushing forward with all her might, directly headbutting the tree. Hopefully to knock down the stupid raccoon.

Unfortunately the tree was made of oak, wide and sturdy enough that it could hold the racoon out of her reach, while supporting its own weight.  Danni watched the writhing mass of fur and anger growl down below.  His smile was only momentarily shut down when her head collided with its base with a solid thunk, shaking the tree ever so slightly.

Only a few leaves rained to the forest floor, and in a massive burst the racoon busted out in uncontrolable, wicked, and adorable laughter.  Pounding his tiny hands on the branch he was perched on, his whole, tiny body convulsed in hilarity, laughing like a small child.  "AAAAHHHAHHH! NO.... WONDER...YOU....YOU!" He wheezed before continuing "ARE SO DENSE!"

He had done it he had hit the jackpot with this one.

Oh but she was stubborn - even if her head was not throbbing at the oaken tree, she didn't stop. Orlaith felt like it was really her only chance of any sort of satisfaction from devouring the raccoon, who, continued to laugh as the woman gave herself a literal concussion. It hurt like hell, but it made the tree move even just the slightest way. She was hoping the momentum of him laughing, her hitting, everything would align.

Otherwise she would have to get a stick and start swatting the best she could.

The raccoon would not be so easily tossed from his tree, in fact he considered himself a professional at three climbing. In fact the tiny hellish beast had something more in store for the frothing ball of anger beneath him.

Hard thick resinous pinecones that had yet to drop their seed where within his reach. Danni plucked one from its branch hurling it down with a double one handed throw, squeaking and laughing the entire time.

"Eheheee! Give up mutt! Serve me, as I am above you!"

"I will wait all day to eat you." Since her hurling head toward the other did not work, the tree being too stubborn. She planted herself right by the tree, a looking eye toward this annoyance of a raccoon.. Which then ended up a pinecorn hitting right on her snout. Though instead of letting it fall, Orlaith grabbed it, and ate it.

This bitch was crazy, she actually ate a pinecone. No doubt she would really wait him out too.  Good thing Danni was also absolutely insane.  In fact it was actually easy to be when you understood the fabric of the reality you where living in. It didn't really matter if she did eat him, he would be back to haunt her, again and again, and again...

But in the mean time he wouldn't give her the standard satisfaction easily, he had hidden something up here, he chose this tree intentionally. His  vastly superior intellect had reveled to him another interesting fact, the property of mushrooms, berries and other odd little plants with interesting qualities.

As luck would have it, he had just the thing: a proper mushroom of warriors and poets alike.  Today would be interesting...
The tree varmint began to chew down a massive amount of this substance.  In fact it was enough to kill a wolf, let alone a little racoon.  He would be dead in about an hour...

He looked down at the frothing bitch below him returning a calm and taunting, "Hmm... We will see about that"

"Sooner or later, everything must drink." Her rump on the floor, a watchful eye to the raccoon who gorged themselves in the pleasure of whatever the stored up there. Like a squirrel, she thought - raccoons were bastards. They were bigger then them, but their hands could easily grab anything and as well as throw, for a wolf they did not have the same pleasure, and everything must be grabbed by the mouth. An envy!

But that envy would be over once she ate him.

It had begun... The tiny bastard's pupils had grown into black beady voids of anger.  Spinning around him, the world seemed so small.  A brush with infinity life and death the universe looked back at Danni as he started to perceive the threads of time themselves.  There was so much color.

Looking down at the bitch below him, he could hear the laughter of the great void calling to him.  One way or another he would teach this bitch a lesson, though he would surely die.  Danni sat up on his side pulling a sharpened piece of volcanic glass out of the side of the tree bark.

She looked so small down there yet close. Tunnel vision seemed to kick in now as the racoon began to froth from the mouth.  His jaw chattered as he began to convulse with an otherworldly force. His plan was two fold; he would certainly damage this wolf's precious pelt in his barrage, secondly, his very blood would become poison to her.

With one last attempt to taunt her with a chattering jaw, the Racoon screamed absolute feral nonsense, leaping from his perch.  "Astracartathia rathttaratthera! FREAAEAA!"   Completely spread eagle, the racoon brandished both his jaws, claws and weapon, drool flying from his foaming mouth.

Impact... a moment of pure bliss as the feral ball of primordial rage made a grappling impact with the bitch's face.  In a blind frenzy the racoon began biting clawing and stabbing at her face, neck and eyes.  He felt the blissful yield of flesh as his  under his stone blade, and the sweet taste of blood.  The racoon frenzied about her face for what seemed like eternity as he began to almost ride her, stabbing, biting and clawing all the while.

His heart wouldn't last much longer.

The skittering of a raccoon shook Rellian out of whatever introspective daze he had been in. He'd been wandering the mountains in search of something. He wasn't sure what he originally was seeking, but now, the sound of prey revealed to him just how much his belly craved something to eat. Instinctively, the paws of the charcoal male had begun to bring him closer to the sound, and as he grew within ear-shot of what was actually happening, he realized this raccoon was actually speaking.

The revelation was enough to stir a feeling of unease in the man. He wasn't interested in getting involved with anything that lacked rational explanation, and he didn't have one for a talking raccoon. He suddenly seemed to lose his appetite. Prey doesn't speak, this raccoon must be something else.

The sight of the scene captivated the whole of his thoughts when he finally came upon it. It wasn't just a raccoon present, there was another wolf, and they seemed to be involved in some sort of conflict. The dark-furred wolf sunk his body low behind the brush that stood between him and the others. He tried to observe what he could and gather information about what was happening. This raccoon seemed to be...teasing the wolf, he had never known a prey animal to exhibit such audacity.

He watched as something seemed to overcome the raccoon, and he had a sense of what was about to happen. Shockingly to him, he observed a sort of bloodlust in the eyes of the raccoon. Rellian wasn't often one to involve himself, but he couldn't stand to see one of his one kind be mocked by such a lowly animal. Acting on impulse, the male lunged himself forward to intervene.

If able to reach the others in time, Rellian would attempt to catch the raccoon in his jaws and pull him off the other, with no desire to eat, but rather one to impede. If he would succeed, he would whip the foaming raccoon through the air with an intense velocity.

I'm happy to change his interaction based on how @Orlaith acts, just lmk!

God, she, hated him! He kept taunting Orlaith, and spiked her anger. Only when she became silent did it truly push her over the edge. Oh, because she was waiting, for any slip up to happen! Boiling point where the lid was just about to split open, oh boy, she was ready. At the point the warrior was ready to throw down anything to do so, yet, she had no plans to that could achieve, for anything that could be thought, was all but thrown away by the factor ; he was in a tree.

Defeated by a tree!

Yet when she gave a scorned look up, the raccoon started to.. Chatter. Disgusted in look, she could've sworn he was foaming until the wild rodent flew off! Orlaith didn't notice what he was holding, of course, but she was all the more ready, "Bring it motherfucker!" Jaws snapping wildly, hackles raised, her body moved upward akin to a bear, and she was ready! Yet.. And yet! The so deed would never come, because rather then the taste of so within her mouth (and the sorrow of his later poisoning her) it was stolen..

Her head flipped over to the lad, not only who stole her prey as she watched the raccoon get flung to oblivion somewhere else, he was in Vanderfell territory in the wrong time. Her rage would not be stopped, for if the raccoon was not to be there, it was him! Flinging herself to Rellian, the warrior was snapping to bite him!

In a blur Danni's trajectory was sent in a completely different direction.  A set of jaws had sent him flying.  "Ragratthaeeerea!!" Danni's own jaws where still foaming as he spun through the air spread eagle.  Suddenly, the little racoon made impact with a tree trunk.  There was a sickening thud as his back smacked directly into it.  The impact nocked the air from his tiny lungs, and began to dislodge the poisonous contents of his stomach.  Half delirious, it all came up all over his lap.

Danni's normal consciousness began to return as he squinted at the two wolves now locked in combat.  With them distracted, now would be the time to take his leave... So the little demon turned to the tree groggily climbing back up to the safety of the high canopy, forcing back any more unwanted upchucks.  It would be good to watch what might play out and survey his wounds.
