These two were... concerning easy to pair up with one another. Renier only wanted someone small and beautiful, something that was easy to find in women - while Amalthea had absolutely no traits desired other than "alive". It made her anxious but perhaps they were honest with how easy going they were and this would work out!
Still, she couldn't help but be concerned.
The little woman insisted on bringing her own gift and so Reiko made sure that Renier would bring one himself so he didn't walk in empty pawed while his date brought a thoughtful trinket for him. She took her time to look around Tsukiishi for a stone that she thought Amalthea would like. One that matched her moon-lit appearance and love for the moon (that was so obvious even Reiko caught up to it) and made sure the man will bring it on his date.
Their spot was magical. Fitting for someone spiritual as the silver-backed woman. It smelled of herbs and early blossoms. Lit by bioluminescent plants with the backdrop of a large grey stone at the base of a small mountain. For them, she offered a light meal. A couple fish, one each to eat - a treat the Empress herself enjoyed and had a hard time letting go.
Hopefully they too will enjoy the fresh fish, kept fresh for them in this cold winter climate.
