Ra smeared this creature from her vision, His light so fierce that she squinted against it to better see! how strange!
 a keen fellahin noted this. they placed a front that drooped overhead—but still it was as though Ra did not want for her to see who loomed in the distance, their shadow stretching taller than themselves. but could that be so? she was given pause, considering—she had enough decorum to behave in a manner that allowed a moments repose. for before her was the altar of Khonsu—where she bowed, and prayed against the stone.
 but her own heart could see no wrong in this man—she wanted to protect him, save him from certain death should he be disregarded! Ra would do worse than cast down a harsh ray of His light, she believed. and so, her prayer finished, she turned to approach the stranger, a bristling mazoi leading the way.

With every step the great strips of his creation sloughed off, revealing bright and new fur in its place. Handsome, and soft as a butterfly's new wings, yet to turn harsh. Leaving this place behind him, Herod padded to meet the woman halfway.

She was guarded—perhaps some noble, surely someone to respect. The roving of his eye revealed the blatantness of her beauty, a thought that was not lingered on for long as his gaze rose to meet her's.

“Good day, madam!” His voice chimed as brightly as the tinkling of bells—his radiant joy apparent. Today was the best of days! “I fear I have grown rather lost. Would you be so kind as to tell me where I find myself?”

 he was older, she saw at once as Ra’s light permitted her vision—where there was beautiful gold, there was also silver. but his gaze, his gaze retained the vibrancy of youth somehow—bright and beaming!
 her fellahin heralded her, introducing her by her names and titles. a mazoi stood nearby, awaiting an order that did not yet pass. “you have found yourself within my Oasis—lost, you say! how long have you traveled for?” was he familiar with where Akashingo had found themselves?
