the shortest poem is a name

 tendrils of dark navy blue sown into rich alabaster blistered down the woman's frame as she sat upon the island. today was suppose to be a joyous occasion, something she should and could look forward to. and yet, she found herself sullen and meek. the mere idea of changing her name felt odd and left a sour taste in her mouth. but her friend had a point - rhayne couldn't remain ignorant and depressed forever. it was time she pried herself from the past and take her first step forward.

 ridged and rough baby blue eyes settled upon her packmate, Takayuki. hisy body was carved straight from the earth. built like a bear with a deep and rich brown pelt that added a layer of danger, the goliath himself didn't come off as menacing. offering him a quick smile, the princess quickly looked around the jungle. her endeavor required her to find a smooth rock and deliver it to kei and kyo in phoenix point. with that in mind, the smaller girl gestured to the man to follow her to the bank. surely smoother stones would be found closer to the ocean or water front.

 rhayne took her time to find the right stone. one that was perfect in size. not too small for her to swallow, and not too big to weigh down her jaw. so when her glaciers eyes settled upon a smooth, white and grey flecked stone that was smooth all around, her ears flickered. the corners of her lips peels back into a smile as she elegantly scooped it up into her jowls. the smooth surface felt weird against her salamander hued tongue, but she positioned it lightly along her tongue and pressed it to the roof of her mouth, ensuring the little thing wouldn't move. now that she was ready, she waited for her companion to find his own stone to begin their trek up to phoenix point.
