Surely swimming was best left to fish? Endellion eyed the water dubiously before dipping in a large paw and cringing at the cold. With a grumble the large dragon-wolf waded into the water and began her journey to the shore of the isles. She was not the only acolyte attempting the trial today so she kept a wary gaze on her warmbloods, ready to perform her duty as guardian dragon to carry them to the shore if they sank like stones. Fortunately for the former dragon her canine body was almost natural at swimming. Her long legs performed swift strokes and soon carried her to the shore. Dripping wet and shivering the Silverflame gave her coat a shake, eager to shed the water from her fur.
“Let us proceed to find the rock for stacking, warmbloods,” Endellion declared to her fellow acolytes, eager to become a fully fledged member of the order so she could begin assisting them with their mission.
“Hmm,” she hummed thoughtfully as she crouched down and peered carefully at one rock then another. They all looked like, well, rocks. Endellion eventually settled on and picked it up with her mouth. It was unpleasant on her tongue and perhaps for the first time her neutral features twitched with displeasure.
