Appearance
The prime example of canid athleticism, it doesn't get more specialized than Leap. Long legs, massive radar-dish ears and jaws shaped for the exclusive devouring of flesh, she's a predator and she doesn't hide it. As far as looks go, she looks like your typical African Wild Dog-a mottled abstract painting of sands, creams, soot and bare sun-bleached bone smattered in a thin, rugged coat draped across her lean, agile frame. She has a notable half of her lower jaw dipped in white, and the black mask many of her kind boast is smaller than usual, with black marking around her eyes and a splotch of black on her forehead surrounded by burlap coloring. Her left ear's top half is chewed off and her eyes are a mismatched brown and blue. She moves pragmatically most of the time, but she got her title 'of Adder' by biding her time before exploding into action. When needed, impressive displays of flight-like agility and shocking bouts of speed will be utilized.

Leap doesn't have the luxury of existing in a generous or kind way. Her pack is her everything. That doesn't mean she isn't incapable of the occasional selfish decision but she is far from prone to them. She lives her life brutally enough to get by and then she goes home and dotes on her children and smiles at her packmates. From her point of view, she operates from a 'do no harm, take no shit' perspective, though to say the dog does no harm is...objectively untrue. But she's just trying to live her life and make sure her legacy and her pack survive when some bastard finally manages to kill her. She can be manipulative as hell, but she prefers bluntness to such things. Get on her shitlist, and she'll leave you for last when she comes 'round to rend you and yours limb from limb. But to garner the loyalty of this dog is to earn yourself a swarm of four-legged furry piranhas to devour your enemies for you.
