APPEARANCE
It has always been speculated since his birth that Arthfael had risen from the womb of the earth rather than to be born beneath his mother's watch, for his coat never did stray even as he aged from the natural hues of the forest—quite completely would he be camouflaged if not for the piercing honeyed gaze which, like that akin to a wolf's, is made of sharp and untrusting expressions. His extremities are accented by chocolate so dark as to appear black by design, and yet under fixated light plainly do his lies come undone, with a gradient fading into a lighter earthen tone of brown which distinctly holds a tint of orange coloring to it that makes up the majority of his body. Unlike the distinctive feature of white undersides that Whitetails are famously known for, Arthfael's unders are more of a dull, paler hue of brown shade, broken in three places; from the back of his front legs and slightly up his chest until down towards his privates, the back of his hind legs which fade towards his hips, and lastly the underside of his tail. His antlers are made up of four points each, with his fifth already starting to grow to length, and he can be identified by the dark coloration towards the tip of his rack with lighter, more orange earthy coloration towards the base nearest to his skull. His hooves and dewclaws are a dark grey brown color and his nose is a light liver. Noticeable is the thicker fur on his body, mainly around the throat and neck area, though it has grown heavily around his backside and nearer to his hooves as well.
PERSONALITY
Arthfael is a knight by heart. He is mysterious in the essence of his brooding, inquisitive nature, in the enigma of a closed off space which holds his thoughts and opinions as closely as a hand of cards. He is not humble but neither does he brag, he is cautious as all prey animals should be yet he does not often abide by those natural set of rules. He is considered by his kind to be a loner, and rarely if ever will he lower his head in the presence of kept company—noting that his trust is minuscule, hard to come by, his respect may be earned but to call him friend is another matter, and for he to allow you to see who he truly is when he takes off that cold, dead armour is a hard won loyalty. His expression is often a perpetual frown, or none at all. He was made up of defined edges like the worn shape of a sword made to cut and so he has no qualms about starting or ending a fight, no matter what shape his opponent takes. The stag finds his purpose specific to a cause rather than for his own selfish reasons, and so he doesn't ask for much, and he never complains; but, he also does not ask for help when it is needed, and he prefers to do things alone. He is dutiful, loyal, but he won't bow his head so low nor will he grovel, he does not want for favor, glory, worth. It is a wonder what he fights for. He is molded stiffly, coldly, with a bellowing voice that should be cherished, for it is not often he will speak greatly or with many sentences, if he can help it, and conversation is varied but slow and dragged out; if cultivated over time, however, one may find him to be full of surprising acts of emotion.
