Far from a hulking beast, but rather large nonetheless.

Kye is sturdily built, with long limbs that afford a certain grace to her movements. Her face is narrow, softening the edges of an otherwise rough appearance. Her pelt is thick and often plagued by knots she rarely bothers to address; after all, she has better things to do.

Dark brown fur fazes into darker still towards extremities, with accents of tawny-gold tinging the bridge of her nose, underneath keen yellow eyes, and in a round patch on top of her head akin to the spot on a buckeye seed - her namesake. The same color highlights across most of the top of her tail and wreaths almost entirely around her neck.

A mischievous and free-spirited creature, she either lacks tact completely or simply chooses not to utilize it - that's anyone's guess, really.

She wields dark humor like a shield, slow to trust in spite of outward appearances, and is always observing those around her as covertly as possible. Possessive; what's hers is hers and maybe what's yours is hers too if she's given the opportunity.

Her loyalty is hard-won and quite the double-edged sword, as there's no getting rid of her once she decides you're worthy.
