Appearance

Darin has a tall, very large menacing appearance about him. He is a brute on all accords with fur as black as the night sky and when in the sun has a ravens color to it where it almost shimmers blue. His coat is fairly long for a wolf, very thick and when he has a mind to, it is well kept. His shoulders are wide and thick with muscle, his hind quarters are toned. His eyes are a bright purple, the only feature he gained from his mother. The size and coat colors are from his father whom he never met. After getting into a fight with his brother Bohemian he acquired quite the scar over his left eye, follows the curve of the moon, the tips towards his muzzle. The scar is a light grey color. He has a few other scars hidden under his fur that are not visible. Darin has been known to be look quite serious, all the time however when you are on his good side you will see a lopsided grin and a twinkle in his eye.

Personality

Darin is rather astute and strict. He is very defensive and quick to judge and attack, be it verbally or physically. However, if you are on his good side you will never have to worry about being safe. Darin will fight to the death over a loved ones safety. He loves hard, hates hard, fights hard and lives hard. There is never a time when he does something half way, he's very strong willed and eager to hop up to help. He tends to gravitate towards females and stays leery of males, his Uncle Rage made him aware of his trust issues. Trust is hard for him to understand or accept.

History

Darin does not remember much from The Wake, as he calls it. He remembers his mother Riya, she was worthless as a mom. Darin ended up running away from her during a dispute and found himself at another pack. He was taken in as one of their own. He remembers his Uncle Rage, and a battle between them, including his death. He remembers his first love, Joslyn and the rejection that followed. He also remembers his mate, Poppy. They had three pups together, Ferris, Cree, and Nikolas. He remembers Poppy dying after delivering the pups and raising the three on his own. Despite having children he was empty, just a shell of the man he once was. No more fight in him, no more get up and go. He lived a mundane life and lived for his children and only them, not even himself anymore...
