Appearance
Out of the corner of your eye you see a beast like a bear. Bristling fur along a sloping back, thick neck and shoulders, face heavily framed. Deep umber brown along the spine, with cascading webs of lighter and darker brown running down along his flanks in a brindled pattern. His muzzle, paws and rump are darker in colour, but it is in his face the most calming of the patterns. Deep browns mark "brow" spots above deeply set eyes of dusky jade sit underneath a thick brow shelf. His muzzle broad, shorter than most, tipped in a wide, coal coloured nose with pinkish fading spots. Slightly more rounded ears set tight to the face and a tail nearly half the length a usual wolf complete this unintentional ursine mimicry. But gods above, despite all of his imposing size, Bourbon is more in girth than he is in muscle. There does lay some hidden power beneath those thick layers of insulation but they are not easily seen until he sets into motion and becomes a power to be reckoned with.
Personality
A kindly gentleman and scholar. Always seeking out things beyond his scope of knowledge, Bourbon believes that knowedge and fun go perfectly paw-in-paw. Violence is almost never his way, yet in the face of injustice and if diplomacy falls flat he can be swayed to rouse his strength in both voice and force.
