— Years ago, Charon and Amekaze founded a claim on Moonspear after combining their two packs, Stavanger Bay and the Sunspire, to help surive the winter. Between them, matters escalated, and since the duo went on to build their family together upon the mountain. When the founders passed, their daughter Hydra and her mate, Dirge, took to the helm. In time, Hydra’s brother joined them in leadership as their second; surviving and thriving through feast, flood, or famine. In a continuation of their claim, Hydra and Dirge’s son Osiris expanded their reach through Firefly Glen, protecting their stretch of wilderness. It was a lasting legacy in the making, until its abrupt end when a meteor struck...
Present
— Hydra and Dirge awoke anew upon The Nameless Mountain. Finding their bearings and ensuring the place is habitable, they strike out to find answers and their own. When it became apparent that this is no temporary thing, Hydra seeks to keep those found safe. Built on the foundations of what was once Moonspear, Empyrean is a familial unit that protects one another while also hoping to be a beacon for those that they have not yet found to return home to--none to be abandoned in their efforts to find those that are lost....
Values
— Pack is family. New or old, once you are a ranked member of Empyrean you are family. All are protected, and each carry the weight of one another. In the past, it has been said that where one Moonspearian is another is sure to be lurking. Should the family continue to grow as it once had, conquest is surely in the cards. They tend to raise active tradesmen: scouts, protectors, hunters, and savvy warriors.
Legacy
— By and by, Empyrean is traditionalist when speaking to the way of the wolf--brutality and bonds alike. Territory aggressive, Empyrean is as protective over their claim as they are one another. Mindful of the pull on the pack's resources, leadership permission is required to conceive and successfully bear a litter. Often in order to gain such favor, individuals first must be a mated pair and well regarded upon the slopes. Beyond rebuilding, Hydra hopes to cultivate a safe environment for all of her family to thrive within.
Things you might be able to expect should the future shine favorably on Empyrean's wolves could be arranged marriages, creating another branch for territory expansion, and more.
