a wolf and animal rpg (role-playing game)

Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Most characters on Canis are wolves; many play elements are focused around wolves and canids, but the world makes room for a large variety of other animal characters such as dogs, horses, cats, bears, deer, and many, many more.

Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

- The Divine Assembly -

The Greek Pantheon of Gods was an everyday fixture in the lives and laws of ancient Greece.  So engrained were they in their culture, that it was believed at any time the Gods walked among them.  On Eleutheria we encourage Gods to interact in the mortal realm.  Mischief and abounds and chaos reigns when the Gods interfere in mortal lives.  

The divine assembly of Greek Gods is open and available for play!  We welcome members to create and twist new myths through Godly intrigue while interrupting the status quo of the mortal realm.  Come explore the fantastical world of Homer’s imagination in The Odyssey & The Iliad on JCink's only Historical AU Greek site established in 2019.
