@Serenity @Stjörnuáti Possible joining thread for your pack <3

After the great god met the woman he’d been thinking about for months, she told him quite a few things. Somehow he’s even more confused, but hey, just because he’s a god doesn’t mean he has super goddamn intelligence — that’s what his muscles make up for ;).

Still, she lead him out of the jungle that he just so happened to be having a heatstroke in and further towards a large, snowy mountain. Wow, she knows him so well. Also it probably didn’t take much for her to realize he was sweating his balls off in that place too, but that’s beside the point.

She told him of a man — to which he squinted his eyes at immediately — but remained indifferent to. And now they seem to be searching for said man — pale like Ragnar, only if he is as great? Time could only tell.

So once snow starts crunching beneath heavy paws and the air around him cooled, he felt right as rain once more. Trudging through the snow effortlessly, it collected over his stripped pelt like a soft blanket by the time they made it to the base of this massive mountain.

But where the hell do they go now?

She did know him.

Well enough to know that not only would he be more comfortable in the snowy cold mountains, but also enough to know that he didn't like the idea of her interacting with another man. But, she also didn't care at the moment. Said man was going to help her find her children and that was what mattered. She would deal with Ghi and his possessiveness later. But for now, it was time to travel back and have the two men meet and pray that a stupid male argument didn't fight back.

Yes, she had let Stjorn comfort her and she did rather enjoy it, but she would absolutely never say that out loud. Last thing she wanted was for Ghi to freak out and try to kill him. No thank you.

So instead, she would simply walk beside Ghi, looking around for Stjorn and letting out a soft and light howl for him.

Snow. Somehow, the substance that fell from the sky dampened the world, made it softer in a way. It gave him a sense of peace in a way few things did, his head tipped back, eyes closed as he stood upon the mountain and soaked it all in. How long the man stood, buffeted by the wind and covered in the snow, he couldn't have said, but it wasn't until a voice broke all that soft silence that those maroon eyes opened to the morning light.

Head turning, the gold crested male let his body follow, walking toward the source of the somewhat familiar voice while he came back to himself. Though it wasn't a long trek, it was enough that Stjornuati was able to discern who the feminine voice belonged to. It was the towering male he saw next to Serenity that he was unfamiliar with.

Still, the Northerner made no effort to puff himself up to compare with the odd looking giant. A simple upward tilt to his chin and lift of his tail was all the man resorted to, confident enough in his own ability to not need to display some obscene amount of dominance. Dark eyes met mismatched ones before he nodded, silent; he was reminded of @Genghis, what with the male's sheer size and odd colors.

One ear remaining triangulated on the man, Stjornuati looked to the smaller female and let his tail wave once, twice. “Serenity.” His accent adjusted the pronunciation of her name, though it did not butcher it. “You have luck finding your young?” This was the question he found most important to ask, though he did not ignore the man's presence either. “Your... félagi... partner? Mm. Companion? is helping you, ja?”

The former god stands impatiently beside Serenity as her howl echoes through the frigid lands before them. For a moment, his ears listen in on the sound of her voice as he watches her absentmindedly. But those same heterochromatic orbs stray to the tall, foggy mountains — to the thick forest around them.

But they don’t dare nature gaze for long…

Movement in his peripheral alerts him and he’s zeroing in on it like a hawk. Another wolf greets them, tall but still shorter than the god himself. But his thick pelt is full of pale creams and golds — almost like fucking @Ragnar. If Serenity hadn’t informed him that this was another man entirely, he’d be easily mistaken for the Northfallian leader. But, alas, he is still so clearly not. There’s no raven feathers woven into that pale coat. The color of their eyes doesn’t match — it’s quite disappointing. Though the only thing disappointing is the fact that it’s not Ragnar, for this man’s appearance is not quite what he expected when Serenity decided to tease him about it earlier.

He's very sweet and kind, and he's quite cute… She’d said.

Now, with his head held high and eyes gazing down upon him, he gets the meaning. Yeah, he’s hot. That’s annoying, but Ghi sees the appeal.

So even as he moves towards them with a tilt of his chin and the lift of a tail, Ghidorah’s eyes follow him like a hawk until he stops before them. Another nod of his head and fearless eye contact is made. Ghidorah meets him back shamelessly, the god’s expression is indifferent but somehow always hard or intimidating in one way or another. Whether it’s a sneer on his face or that cock-sure smirk he often gets, most usually find him just that — intimidating.

But he’s sure this man is not intimidated. He just doesn’t seem the type to play weak.

So he speaks, rolling out Serenity’s name with familiarity and asking of her children. Only his attention moves to the former god, not threatening to ignore his great presence, he’d probably notice the more than invasive once over the striped beast is giving him. There’s no attitude in it, but he most definitely is staring.

The accent hits his ears and they swivel and perk, but surprisingly, he stays silent, so as to not interrupt Serenity.

Thankfully it didn't take long for the other man to show up, which was good considering she was currently dealing with a very impatient brute with a god complex next to her.

Nonetheless, she would step forward, aiming to delicate nose to Stjorn's shoulder if he let her, a friendly greeting, though she couldn't deny the smile on her lips. Pushing those thoughts away for fear or a fight breaking out, she nodded and glanced between the two of them. She hoped they could just get along and she wouldn't have to play referee forever. "Yes, Stjörnuáti, this is Ghidorah. Ghidorah, this is Stjörnuáti."

She would turn her attention back to Stjorn, cocking her head to the side slightly. "I went south east a little and ran into a jungle there, but no signs of them. Hell, there wasn't really any sign of anyone except for him." She flicked her tail towards Ghi, aiming to hit him on the shoulder gently.

Though she kept her head high and her normal confident smile on her face, one close look would show how badly she wanted to curl up and cry (preferably in the arms of one or both of the strong men in front of her) but for now, she kept herself calm. She knew she needed a level head to get through this and though both men had given her comfort in different ways, now wasn't the time to ask for that.

A flick of his tail as Serenity approached him, nosing her fur as she did his own. She was a pleasant creature, clearly, and body language, physical touches were something that resonated with him in a way that words did not. The unknown man remained silent through all this, something Stjornuati did not mind. He could be rather quiet himself at times, especially in the company of his siblings; they understood each other in a way many did not, although he had encountered some during his travels who seemed to operate on the same wavelength. Perhaps this man, Ghidorah, would be similar. Perhaps he would not. The stareater would not mind one way or another, though everyone had their preferences of course.

Under watchful eyes, his demeanor did not change, muscles fairly relaxed, shoulders even with his spine, hackles settled comfortably so that gold complimented cream. There was very little that served to get under the man's skin and being scrutinized was not something that would achieve such a reaction. A frown did shape his mouth slightly as the kona spoke, acknowledging that she had not found any sign of her young. Dark eyes did flicker to Ghidorah when Serenity indicated that she had found him in a jungle; the word held little meaning to the man, for he was a northerner and while he knew of fjords, and cols, and screes, a jungle was foreign to him.

“You will find them,” He affirmed for her, nudging her shoulder lightly. “This one told you this one would help. Mordfjall,” His head turned to point his nose and indicate his mountain's peak. “is good place to return to when sun rests. The ravens tell this one much and can keep eyes on ground when we cannot.” As if to confirm or punctuate his statement, Synin cawed as he circled overhead of them, his white feathers stark against the sky. He took a moment to shake the snow off his pelt before looking between the two of them. “This one seeks to rebuild Hrafnsvaktin. Pack. The more gathered, the more who can look for your children. This is agreeable, yes?”

It was not, it seemed. The two came to a decision quickly and explained that they were only looking to find the children. After that, they would decide what to do on their own. With a nod, Stjor would bid them good bye and wait until he saw them cross the borders back whence they came. No matter. It would all take as long as it needed.
