Sovereign, Entering Elysium

^^This big creature that reminded him of Alder stumbled back and Orel wondered what would had happened if he had sat down on Violet instead of coming in contact with the earth. She couldn’t speak with there was a butt on her face!

Daddy was here, too, and Orel looked at the two of them. “Hi!! Are you my dad’s boyfriend, Kuhn?” He beamed up, stepping forward to grab some feathers that fell out as he eyed his cousin and barked a laugh.

“No, sorry, that was me. I tooted.” And then he grinned and laughed.

"No, you smell!", retorted the cat with a small show of teeth, glaring at the older pup. Obviously the delirium, had brought out his first inclination.

His attention was broken shortly after when a flashy blue feather fell from the other side of his head. Refocusing on the younger of the pair, the big cat's embarrassment returned, with a puffing up of his coat. "Uhhh .... No, its not what it looks like..."

 Violet rejected his offer to greet the tiger-friend and instead insulted him then walked off. Oooff.. "Um... sorry about that. Violet's a lil' moody sometimes but she don't mean no harm." At least the brown warrior figured that she didn't. She was just a little kid with a big temper was all but he knew she was a good soul deep down. "I think you smell real nice." He said, hoping to take the sting out of her words --if there was any-- with a compliment.

 And then, his attention was back on Orel who made him bellow out laughter. "No no, this here's just a friend. Sometimes it's nice just to have a cuddle-buddy sometimes, although you should always ask first. So, uh, sorry about all the cuddlin' Kuhn. I didn't even realize that I did that." He said to the feline with an apologetic smile, hoping that he wouldn't be cross. The tiger might have been embarrassed but Mordecai seemed to take it all in stride, he seldom let things get to him. So long as he wasn't in trouble or hadn't compromised making a new friend.

 He giggled and said, "You're supposed to say 'excuse me', when you do that." His tongue lolled out of his mouth, clearly amused at his little son. The brown warrior gave a long stretch, a yawn, and then rose to his paws. "So, uh, you wanna walk back to the camp with us, Ore? I'm escorting Kuhn back to our home base but we just settled down for a lil' rest first." "Little rest"... sure.

^^Kuhn made very certain to let Violet know that he did not, in fact, smell. Orel's response to this, was, of course - to walk right up and shove his nose into Kuhn's fur, if he'd let him, to inhale his kitty-like scent. “Well, you do, but it's not a bad smell! Muma says everyone has their own, special smell. Did you know that, Kuhn?? Don't listen to Vivi, though. She's a meanie head.”

And then his Dad spoke about Violet meaning no harm, and Orel wrinkled his nose up at him. “Do you know a different Violet? Cus.. um.. ” Orel frowned over Violet's direction though she hadn’t come back. “I’ve never known her to say anything nice, ever. ”

He would not hesitate to tell them how she said they were ugly freaks, and how she didn’t want to be in the family anymore, either!

He learned about cuddle-buddies, and wondered who his was. Daddy asked about leading them back to camp, and Orel wagged his tail. “Are you coming to live with us, Kuhn??”

Still puffed up the cat's embarrassment still lingered with him.   The whole small chain of events since he just woke up was a bit overstimulating, and now he was spinning trying the get some mental footing.  

Listening to Mordecai, talk about having a cuddle buddy and the nature of the cat's nice smell, caused the cat to emit an embarrassed chuckle.  The skin beneath the fur on his face was no doubt red by now, as he placed a large paw on the back of his own neck.   "...Thanks", he stammered rubbing at the shaggy fur of his nape.  


"Ahh...  Don't worry about her, I have heard worse.", he answered for the older pup.  A long while back that was normal, wolves didn't usually like the scent of their natural enemy.  Just then, the smaller of the greeting party had planted himself into his fur, not seeming to mind the feline accent.   Looking down at the little one, a small closed mouth smile came across his face, touched by the boy's warm expression. 

"You are to kind...", Kuhn expressed with a rumble, pawing at the boy.  "Maybe for a few days...", after-all the quicker he could break @Vera 's neck the better.

 "She's prob'ly just figurin' herself out still. Don't take nothin' she says to heart. Words are just words, y'know." It was how he let stuff roll off his back so easily. How he didn't seemingly get bothered by anything at all. He chuckled at Kuhn's words. "There's always worse to hear... and they're still just words." Said not exactly for Kuhn's benefit, but for that of his kiddo.

 "Ohey! If you're stayin' with us for a few days, maybe we can go out huntin' or searchin' for berry bushes. They're reeeaaaalll hard to find this time'a year but I bet if we look hard enough we'll find some." Did tigers eat berries? Hmm...

 "Anyways, let's go!" With that he lead them all back towards the camp, so that Kuhn could get to see Valeaska and he could maybe visit some with his son.
