outside of reclaimed roots
days came and she grew. to the fifth month she believed? maybe? days were a blur as time went and out of the concept and gradually become what she was ; a blackbird. silent fitting and slowly brewing across the lands did she traverse, white eyes glazing to the land as she observed what was. forests stood all around, high enough that some even blocked the darkened sky, as the falcons cawed above for their incoming dive of prey. she walked through, an ear flickering and observing quietly.
she sees something in the distance, and halts.
