Welcome to Canis Major

a wolf and animal rpg (role-playing game)

Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Most characters on Canis are wolves; many play elements are focused around wolves and canids, but the world makes room for a large variety of other animal characters such as dogs, horses, cats, bears, deer, and many, many more.

Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

dated before the court hearing

And so Chasm found himself exploring again, band tight on his face, it was like his superhero mask. He was worried about the upcoming trial for his leader but it would be fine. Nothing would go wrong because it was destiny. Or so he kept telling himself. But doubt would creep into his heart and the most childish of antics came into his skull. He wanted to do some secret montage training in case he needed to rescue Vendrussel and escort her to safety. It was dumb and illogical, no plan was made in honesty. But if he practice and had the guts then surly it would go alright.
~~~
After an hour making dynamic poses and attacking invisible enemies he was exhausted. Forked tongue sticking out as he panted up a storm. There were shows on the magic box were others would train for days. He couldn't last even an hour! Feeling pity for himself he sat down and sighed. Wasn't there some way he could help?
"My dear sir," Miriam was afar.. She was actually relaxing within the forest. In the distance there was a great fog rolling in, and she didn't feel just ready to venture in another unknown so. A few times had she done, and both did it diverge to a rather.. Unsettling meeting to say the least, that the moon-girl knew better then to continue the habit of stepping in, despite how strong the curiosity was at the moment. The smell of the sea was near, but she yet to diverge so. A forest hung near, full of pines as well as the faintest smell of elk in the distance.. But she was to use the time to take a rest, and prepare for the travells of tomorrow.
On a boulder she sat ontop, with the day being lightly breeze and cloudless, Miriam thought she need not to search for cover on this day. But it seems her presence remained unnoticed, and there was a man, a strange one with something upon his jaw, doing..? She couldn't tell, so Miriam from her laying position on the boulder chuffed at him after an hour, once he seemed exhausted and doing no more. She didn't wish to disturb his concentration, "what were you doing?"
