Faust a few days prior, had been attacked. In the midst of her own squabble of emotions, a defense that was let down within a land of being an unwanted brood, in the most vulnerable state.. Not even she could be a lone — and attacked without a warning. Thrown against a tree, she was bruised and battered but not broken, at least, but maybe a bit in spirit. She was silent, for the meanwhile, licking her own wounds and a refusal to seek out the medics of Elkshire.
She didn't trust them. She didn't trust anyone except the few selected within her created circle.
She remembered when she had ate some weak poisonous berries, there was a certain plant that helped her feel better. Comfrey, but not a name that Faust knew — she had sought it out in the forest and was diligently and slowly eating it.. Of the no use, for though it helped the ease of stomach aches, her bruises remained painful. After a few days of eating and not applying it so, she finally grew fed up, and spat it out.
Young and defenseless, attacked twice and watched her own sibling die — she felt useless, to even attend to herself.
