Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

Her evening spent in the strange wood had been survived and the woman was eager to stave off her curiosity of the neighboring areas. She traveled further east, into a place she found quite pretty. The trees stood tall her and her amber eyes often looked up at them in wonder. A much different experience than was her night in the dark forest.

As she trotted and sniffed along, the snake snuggled up into her neck fur and shoulders. Still content as ever.

She travelled to the mountains, scouting for the thoughts that was Evenrise, and the leftover of. Although there was none within the vicinity, no one to reclaim the lost child renamed to another, and not one to speak of what truly happened to the mysterious pack of the clouds. Although, Vendrussel had a soured taste of what she did know of the leader who abandoned Valtyr, for the sake of new man, and new children. A bit glad if such a woman who forsaked her family was gone, and yet ; what truly happened, would always be in the air.

She travelled a bit more east. The trees were high within the sky, a telling of ancient land as the sound of waterfalls were within the distance. Yet that wasn't the only part she noticed, her nose picking up the mixture of wolf and snakes within the vicinity that perked an interest.. But uncertainty was always around, especially with the war-torn dragoness who now held a more caution, for who knew what enemies now laid about. Friend or foe, it was hard to tell.

She prowled through the forest, an eye to any beings that seemed out of place to the nature land. A hunt to find such a figure, before they spotted her first.

The viper likely would of noticed the prowling leader had she not had her nose to the sky, in awe at the height of the trees.

Her snake seemed.... unsettled? At least more than usual, while still holding onto her nape she writhed and wiggled as though uncomfortable. Sabira stopped and looked down, almost excited to see if the snake was finally leaving.

Yet the serpent didn't seem to want to get away, yet she was trying harder to snuggle deeper in the fluff of her fur.

This disturbed the queen, so she took a moment to look around the woods. The feeling of being watched becoming apparent to her.

As she skulked through the forest, the smell became more apparent. Somewhere in front of her, so close that when she finally caught her sight on this unofficial prey — Vendrussel showed herself. She wasn't there to be aggressive regardless, more of a curiosity to what was and the light wandering that the smell of snake, indicated something else was well. Before her gaze though as a quaint wolf, shed in light colors — a pretty girl, the dragoness thought, but narrowed her view on the snake that curled around her so.

"Do you need help?" Vendrussel said, her emerging from the shadows and lifting a high proud head and pointing toward the reptile, a light concern presented itself on her face. A snake around them, she didn't lok as if was harming her, and reminded faintly of.. The Whisperer. But she didn't know for certain.
