For @Lilith! Hopefully this’ll do. Forward-Dated to after Mei and Boa reunite <3

He and Mei had parted for but a moment, and while his heart lingered for her, the feline wanted to look for more tigers. Boa had met @Kuhn, so.. perhaps he’d be able to meet another…

Scenting the air, pack scents flooded his nose; One of elk and forest, one of blood and dirt, another of… something? It seemed newer than the others, but all the scents were overlayed with a small of rot. Dirty water, almost.
It was.. odd, to say the least. Weren’t packs… clean and nice? Elysium had been tidy, and Mei was beautiful, so why did these packs smell so.. opposite to those? Perhaps the mountain and beach groups just bathed more often.

Either way, he wanted to explore. He should probably learn how to block his nose though, just for future reference. These wolves were dank. They smelt.. gross. It’d be a funny story to tell his beloved later, wouldn’t it?

He wondered if he’d meet anyone here..

Lilith could feel the turn of the seasons, the slightest — if not almost imperceptible — changes that signaled that summer was over, and she was nearing a year in age. Now, Lilith had a new crop of siblings to antagonize, but her maturing mind was experiencing something newer than the autumnal season itself, and that feeling was boredom.

It was interesting, how the boredom allowed her mind to explore than excitement and activity did. When she was around others, she found herself curiously overly influenced by them, even though their dark desires were often no more perturbed than her own. In the silence of her own mind — well, it was never really silent, but she felt more in tune with her own wanton wants and whims and that felt nice. It felt like being exclusively her, although she never had an audience to watch what went on when she was alone. The thoughts she dared to think.

It really was a shame.

Mother had been distracted, as of late. What's more, the serpentine girl had no idea how to catch the unquenchable eye of @Vengeance, though her burgeoning sexuality gave her some real estate to explore. But Lilith herself was bored, and as she was prone to do when in the throes of boredom, she began to push her limits somewhat. Or, at least that’s how she reasoned with herself, when she waltz right up to a large striped beast and marveling at him, stating

“Sir, you are by far the largest mountain lion that I have ever seen.”

“Sir, you are by far the largest mountain lion that I have ever seen,” Said a voice from behind him; The familiar tone almost made his heart skip for a moment; Mei? But he knew that this wasn't his wolf, no, this was someone new. The scent of blood and dirt came from her, which made his fur prickle for a moment.

She seemed to be from a dangerous pack, but Boa quickly remembered that he could be dangerous, too.

Blood

Claws

Screams

The memories were all to familiar, though he shook his pelt out, and focused on the seemingly-soon-to-be yearling. “Why thank you,” He rumbled, voice deep and gravely as it hadn't been in use for some while. Boa cleared his throat for a second, before continuing; “Not a mountain lion, though. A tiger.” Just like my brothers, a flash of regret, and Maya.

He thought that, with Mei's help and comfort and counselling, all the memories would be gone by now, but... Everytime he was reminded of them, he wanted to scream and run and fight.
But no, he was around wolves now. Wolves that couldn't physically withstand the same force he'd used when having a friendly-spar with his family. They couldn't withstand the force her used.. when...

Breathe, he reminded himself. Focus on the wolf in front of you. And so he did. “The name's Boa,” He smiled, dipping his head in a bow-like gesture. “Yours?”

She hadn't felt her words were a complement as much as he thought he words were a compliment, and to hear him express gratitude for such a thing as being large made a simpering smile come to her expression. She was large, though a yearling; but she was the Boogeyman's daughter, and she reflected such in the way she inhabited and moved about in her own stormy-grey body, how she walked as if she slunk in darkness. She was aware of herself, and in control.

A talented serpent that slithered through the grasses, ever-cloaked in shadow.

He was a tiger, yet he smelled of wolf. It was all very heady and overwhelming to the young phantasm, and she wasn't truly sure to make of him. The stranger offered his name so easily, and asked after hers; Lilith wasn't entirely sure that she wanted to give such information to him, for that would automatically pin them as equals. It was the unfortunate truth that wasn't something she believed, so she wouldn't allow that to happen. "My name's Uma," the girl offered with a smile, and a wave of her inky banner.

Her gaze narrowed and tightened upon him, finally allowing herself to fully take in the auburn sheen of his pelt; the opaque daggers that jumped across his pelt like lightening. "I've never met a tiger before," she offered, a small bit of truth slipping out in her youthful awe of him.

"My name's Uma," The girl said, and Boa dipped his head in acknowledgement, before she'd continue; "I've never met a tiger before." Boa smiled, teeth sharp and gleaming.
“Now you have,” He said. “Any wishes? Something you wanna see a tiger do?” Hunt? Fight? Oo, maybe they could have a friendly spar . . .

He wasn't sure what much they could do. In all honesty, it felt like he'd been far from Mei for too long by now, but hey, meeting new wolves was fun, no? Plus, educating those on new species was even better

. . . And maybe he could become an entertainer. If he could make wolves like him, would he be able to make himself happy? Hopefully, that sounded nice, to not feel guilty and terrible all the time.

Well now, that was an intriguing question. Despite it's inherent condescension, the answer was yes, there were things she wanted to see a tiger do — and if this creature was sitting her offering, then who was she to deny such an opportunity? She pursed her lips, and sat back on her haunches, and put some thought to the task.

Her peacock-blue gaze ran across his pelage once more, trailing down his limbs to those large, saucer-like paws. After that, there was really only one thing on her mind. "Can you kill things with your paws, like a —" she didn't dare utter the word mountain lion again, so instead her mouth clipped shut, and she tilted her head towards him, as if to say: well, can you?

Boa perked his ears best to his ability, eyes trained on the lady intently, until she spoke. "Can you kill things with your paws, like a —" He urged to know what she was going to say at the end, but all Uma did was pause and look at her in a challenging way.

He clicked his tongue idly. “I suppose . . .” A drawn out purr left his maw. He wasn't exactly thrilled to be asked to kill something, but nonetheless, he'd do as the wolf wished. Unsheathing his claws, Boa stood, turning his body away from the girl, but keeping his gaze locked on her. “What do you want me to kill?”

A purr? What was a purr, but a rumble in one's throat, a seedling of words that are never spoken? It was a sound she had never heard before, spilling forth from the pit of his throat, and it fascinated the yearling as if it were the monotonous trilling of a rattle snake; the cock of her head might have denoted such interested, if she hadn't been so enthused with the fireburnt feline already.

The answer to his question was so obvious that it almost caused Lilith to roll her peacock-blue eyes into the back of her head. At first she smirked, then she allowed the tip of her tongue to trace her bottom lip. There was literally nothing here but her. "Kill me," she bade him, her words tasting as if they were laced with the finest poison. Maybe he would succeed, with those big claws of his — the wraith had never been afraid of a little blood.

No, as a nightwalker, that fear had been essentially bred out of her.

She made a little show of rolling one shoulder, then the other. A whispered of an indulgent smile graced her maw, before she dug her heels in the ground and  leant down to nip at his hock, to entice the hellcat to action.

"Kill me," Boa stood still, his eyes widening and going blurry as the memories flickered in his head. Perhaps the visions were visible to the girl, or perhaps he was suffering alone. A single shiver crawled down his spine, and he turned his body back to Uma, stalking forwards and licking his lips.

Then, if she'd allow him to get close enough, he'd let his breath reach her ear, a snarl escaping his maw as he spoke; No.”

He aimed a single nip at her ear, but that's all she would get. He would not deliver her death. Not anymore; She should of asked when he was younger; Perhaps then he would of been more willing. “I do not kill people, He growled, giving a dejected sigh. “Not anymore.” And he didn't want to kill ever again.

This cat was not easy to entice; not as easy as her brothers, anyhow. He seemed to have a dichotomy to him that was fascinating, and Uma did not know if it is a trait that should be attributed to all of feline-kind, or perhaps this distressed soul in particular. He seemed to be here, but not here; a killer that wouldn't kill. Such restraint with unbound potential flowing just below the surface; the woman felt it insane to keep such a thing leashed!

The girl recoiled from her small advance, clicking her tongue. "That's so lame," she admonished lightly, fully convinced of this fact. The more Lilith explored of the world, the more she began to realize how it utterly bored her. Even life within the Reach was boring, if she didn't consistently do things to keep her life full of action and activity. and here was a tiger, of all things, who had vowed to never kill another soul! It was astounding, how consistently disappointing the world was. "Don't be boringgg~" she nearly begged him, the pleading look in her eyes not matching the smirk upon her lips.

Rounding around the back of him, she batted at his tail with an outreached arm; keeping a singular eye trained on him, wondering just how much of sickly-sweet annoyance he could take before they shifted gears.

Apologies for the wait!

"That's so lame," Boa bared his fangs in a growl, though he knew it would go nowhere. He wanted to know it would go nowhere. Yet every part of his 'kill wolf, have babies' brain wanted to feel this Uma kid squirm under his claws. What if Mei were here? Part of his brain whispered, and Boa felt himself wince, slowly backing away from the yearling.

He felt dizzy. Her voice rang in his ears; "Don't be boringgg~" Terribly sing-song-ish, as if she were prompting him to kill her. No. He grunted, eyes screwed shut. He flailed. Helpless, the girl batted his tail with a single paw, and Boa whirled around, a rumbling snarl leaving his maw. Deadly; violent; vicious. He could be all of those things–

And then it was like he went numb.

"Don't do it," That wasn't... his voice..? "Don't do it, Boa." No, no...

 Maya.

Eyes flashing open, Boa glared at Uma for a good few moments, before turning his back away from her. “I told you. I do not kill. Not anymore.” And with that, he'd leave. Or at least, get as far as possible until she decided to follow. Maya. Why are you back, now? His angel, perhaps, or just another thought?

Attempted exit!

Lilith's eyes rolled to the back of her head. He left, and she didn't chase him. Why would she? He was too boring to provoke, and the storm cloud suddenly was unwilling to exert any more energy towards this effort. Perhaps one day she would more finely tune her ability to pursue and provoke, as she mother did, but there was still a small part of her believed that these things were owed to her. Her brothers were more than happy to indulge her whims, and whoever waltzed within Nightwalker land was subjected to her no matter how much they wished to escape. But here she was, begging the hellcat to show her something incredible, and he refused. and she couldn't do anything about it.

It frustrated her, and she couldn't clearly figure out why. A wrinkle on her nose, Lilith too spun 'round on her heels, and darted back towards home.
