Engulfed into the world, her entire homeland brought into reigns of what was an unknown abyss. To enjoy what was brought and to fall into the line as a woman had done, she thought to marry and go forth ; serve the pack that had taken her in after all that there was.. Mother's words and beauty, a nobility she looked up to but alas, her mother would not see her on that descended day ; and neither would she see herself. For she fell,

 and fell,

  and fell,

A cry to the void, Aries cried out to the heavens, as the wind caressed her harshly as from the sky did she fall from. Snow-kissed by the icy air, and slamming into the snow piles beneath. What was to be devoured by the world by a pit, was but a turn about into falling into the sky itself — and somehow, somewhere, landing in a place she did not know. Falling, into a pile of snow.

She breathed, for she was alive.

Entering the terminal days of her pregnancy, Olive’s ballooning body was reluctant to do more than lay amongst her den and the area just around it, sunbathing and eating anything delectable that was delivered to her doorstep; but her mind was active, and was uncertainly processing the changes that she was undergoing. It felt as if she might never pop and meet these creatures who sprouted within her, but at the same time, she worried with great anxiety about the upcoming time that she was responsible for lives other than her own.

That responsibility, already, felt too great.

Since she still could, she made small meanderings around her dwelling, and made note of the small plants that still managed to bloom here, despite the ever-present ice and snows. They were small put potent allies that manifested within one’s body whatever the plants itself needed to survive in such cold, seemingly hostile conditions. Olive understood such an effort innately, and sought out their support often. @Tiberius could only do so much, as a provider — Mother Gaia seemed to supplement all other things that she needed.

There was a sound a crashing through the tree cover, a resonant thud. Then nothing.

The seraph loped as best she could to the sound, thinking it had been a snowbank which fell over atop itself. Her stomach dropped when she realized it was a being; a snowy-fae who seemingly dropped straight out of the sky. Unsure if the wolf was even alive, or in pain and would lash out, Olive approached with concern writ across her features, and a whine leaking from her throat.
“Goodness — are you okay?” she questioned, attempting hoping for the best.

Although she fell from the sky itself ; it seemed there wasn't much injury besides the moaning that came from her joints. Bruised to say, as she lifted her head out of the snow to firstly be greeted by the unknown of the lands. Around her was not like homeland, beyond the pines of a forest could she see mountains high in the sky — and the smell of a pack rushing to her nose, not one she ever knew, nothing that was familiar.

..Where.. Where was she?

A golden gaze scurried around in a slight panic, but took deep breathes to calm herself ; rethinking of what had happened. The day, the hole, the falling, and she, alive but somewhere else? Her heart felt like a warbeat, and head seemed to be swirling as though all the signs were there, a part of her wished not to believe. She was to be prepared for one thing, but around her — not even her sister was seen, much less the Winterglade pack.

Although a woman did approach ; heavily pregnant she came about that it startled Aries for a moment, "Oh.." and gazed around, "quite alright, but, where am I?"

Olive could not truly believe that this woman fell from the sky, though that’s what the sensory input she received had to say. Though Olive believed in the Gods and of magic, it always abided by the laws of physics — so the Priestess’s immediate concern was directed towards the woman’s well-being. That she could grab onto and run with, even if the alabaster woman had likely shattered every bone in her body.

At least, she was alive, and moving — and talking? and claiming to be fine?

Astonished as she was, Olive continued to approach closer. She couldn’t say she felt supremely comfortable with this, because she had run into relatively few beings who shared their experienced of simply appearing, or materializing, or falling out of the sky. Duskguard was hers, and wasn’t the intention of saying such things to prevent the occurrence of finding hapless strangers within her safe-zone?

Olive kept her face calm, hoping not to portray her confusion to the woman.
“You’re in Duskguard,” she explained, lifting her tail intentionally as she did, simply to denote that the land was, in fact, claimed — by her. “Where did you come from?” The Priestess then questioned, her voice sounding like a cloying melody, seeking answers where they might not yet exist. More like: How did you get here?

Duskguard was the name she was in from. One that she did not know, not even vaguely familiar and English was not the first language her region usually spoke of ; it was always second-hand, to interact with those of the south. The smell of them was large at hand, even the snow that decorated her pelt belonged to another. Aries, rose from her ground, and wobbled lightly. There was a pain within her body, like a great tumble that she clearly did. Yet, she rose, a paw stretched to her chest and bowed her head lightly, lowering to the other, "My apologies for this intrusion," as she should with any wolf. Who was to say this was not a wolf of a higher rank? She had yet to even notice the swollen belly of the other, blinded by everything that was unfamiliar.

And she lifted her golden gaze, smiling gently, despite the feeling of pain scorching through her limbs, "I did not mean to intrude it seems that I.. Ah, fell from the sky?" She lifted her white muzzle and gazed up, snowfall gently enriching this mountainous forest, and even the snow owls crossed to the sky. By every means this was the tundra, but not the tundra she knew of.

Even around her was no Winterglade wolf, neither a sister of the fiancee she once had. Alone, it seemed..

She held a puzzled expression, her paw drifiing back to the ground as she closed her eyes for a moment, a hum within a thought, "The land collapsed, and I fell to here..?" Although whisper that it was slightly, it was audible. It was questionable whether she was explaining to the other, or simply wondering herself — for all accounts, as she tried to make thoughts about it.

It didn't make sense.

The woman seemed a demure type of confused; where some might lash out in fury and frustration, she seemed to sit and assess. Olive, in turn, assessed the woman with a less critical eye. She indeed seemed to have fallen, but Olive supposed wilder things had happened before (and she was prone to believing all manner of omnipresent forces, which may or may toss entire beings from one realm into another). If her appearance in Duskguard was, more or less, a misunderstanding — and she harbored no ill-intentions towards she — then this was a matter that could be easily figured out.

“I am grateful you are not more injured.” she commended, giving the woman a visual once-over. Still she looked fine (to Olive’s continual surprise) but she wondered if the woman’s spacey cognition might be the result of a concussion, or symptom of a larger issue. She thought of calling Tiberius, but did not want to frighten either of them with the (certain-to-be jarring) experience of meeting one another in such a fashion. “Do you know your name?” the fae wondered aloud, intoning her desire to dig a bit deeper into the woman who found herself now amongst the vale.

She could only smile ; it was a true wonder how she was not more injured. Her golden eyes drifted to the ground for a moment, half expecting it too to erupt and she would endlessly fall once more — but it did not stir, nor' a warning what was to calm and seemed solid within form. It was unnerving to think only within moments, or was it days ago? Time felt like a void, where she couldn't tell the time from there and now and how she fell, but it was only seconds before seeing her sisters face, and feeling a life flash before her eyes. Was this some ploy by Gods? Although the snow-wolf wasn't truly religious.. It brought some questions, concerns, and if not ; a plead.

Adapt, adjust, as she once did so long ago. But saddened, crest-fallen ears as she gazed lightly around for a double-check that there was none that she knew. No family, no fiancee, no friends ; no glade to be. The forest hummed, the crowing of birds and the gentle rustling of the trees from a wind. Snow falling to her pelt once more that caused a quick shake, a shake to her soul and mindset. Deep breathes, she reminded herself, before tracking her gaze back toward the green-eyed fae, "I am Aries."

Although only now she realized the dame before her was pregnant, heavily so. She should have expected a guard to be upon her pelt with fangs as so ; but instead of given a worry, and a kindness. At the very least if she fell to an unknown realm, Aries was glad it was not a hostile region, and a place known as Duskguard. She would not forget this moment of grace.

"I came from.. A different north." this was not the snow-filled land she so new, but some part of her did not feel a large disgruntlment or sadness from that departure. She was more torn of losing a family, not even the fiancee, who was to be wedded to without true love. A mother who was long gone by age, and a father's crown torn from his bloody corpse ; a sister, who was very much alive, but she was strong. Very strong.

Aries hoped she was safe.

Olive could almost see and smell the miasma of confusion that surrounded the girl, who looked as the Priestess herself did — of the north — but notably a different north, as she willingly told Olive. It was almost vivid, how the colors of the woman’s aura flashed from one hue to the next, denoting the fluidity of her thoughts. Olive watched, almost in awe, as there was much more to this woman’s communication than the brevity of words.

“Aries, I am Olive,” she introduced herself, attempting to match this wayfarer in her placid energy. Titles were not necessary, as the crack in the seed that was Aries was only beginning to germinate, and see the light of this new day. Her story was slowly coming forward, beginning with the first fact that she was of the north. The Priestess edged closer a step, nose pointed downward, eye looking direct. “Do you seek this ‘other North’?” she questioned, wondering how she could best help this lost soul.

"Although I may wish for so, I do not think there is any return." She could neither nod or shake her head ; for the north she needed to return to.. How could she return to? "perhaps the Gods have toyed with my fate." She was not a religious woman by any means, although more likened to spiritual side of the earth and that was living — her qualms above those of the heavens were little and unthinking. At times would she pray, at times would she may even feel flushed and distrustful — but she believed one way or another. And could only toy, if that was true.

It was the only point where her mind could wrap what was the unknown ; the spiritual realm and all that there was with Gods and Demons, a warping of time and space itself that brought the opening of the land that let her fall into a new north. Not her north, not the north she was born in, and not the one she was raised to.

An unknown snowland.

And she was alone.

Aries stood, a melachony smile upon her face as all these emotions were rushing toward — what else could she do but give an acceptance of what fate casted upon her, where the laws of reality didn't make sense.. Besides what she could grasp.

Surrounded by mountains and snow, the smell of Duskguard and the pregnant woman before her, as at the moment all that the young snow-wolf knew within this brand new realm altogether. The sounds of the owls and birds coming forth, and the twitching of her ear as an elk within the distance bellowed.

Still, Olive did not know the thoughts that went on in the young snow hare’s mind, but that didn’t stop her from trying to form a grasp on the woman, who she was. What an ephemeral thing to try and grasp! A shewolf, ripped from one existence and thrown into another; what that must be like, Olive would never know. She herself has eased through her own transition so smoothly that she barely realized that it happened at all. All Olive knew, was that one day she was with her family, but she had left on her own accord. Where the rift happened, and where she was now, Olive thought little about.

She had fractured her own life, so when the Gods did it for her, the sylph had barely noticed a thing.

Some remnants remained, confused with other threads that made up her other lives. Things, names, resonated deeply with her and when the sounds of such words reached her ears, they tickled her auditory feathering with such ferocity that she found it necessary to flick them aside, and blink her eyes against the sensation. Such names as Mal, and Elysium, and even Aries — they had this affect on her, but if she was distracted, it passed without being noticed. Perhaps it was always this way, for everyone, existences layered one right over the other; overlapping and crossing in either subtle or overt ways.

Olive simply nodded, biting her lip as a pup shifted and uncomfortable pressed a little paw against her diaphragm.
“They’ve been known to do so before…” she spoke of the divine, shifting backwards to sit on her haunches, suddenly feeling the full weight of her exertion (yes, from just standing there). The woman smiled at Aries, feeling quite comfortable with her already, despite the many layers to her sudden appearance. “I take it that you are a Godly woman?” she asked, as Olive was the type to latch onto any mention of the spiritual beliefs.

Though she hadn’t mentioned her title as Priestess, somehow it always oozed out of her every pore.

Aries shook her head, "I believe in Gods, in the spiritual realm of heaven and hell — but I could say not say i'm a holy woman who prays to them often. Only a belief, they are there." How they formed and created the earth, but who is to say it was something else? What could not be explained was always thrown in the mystery of the unknown realm that intertwined with God, Demons, and Spirits, for unanswered questions always seem one way or another ; related to. Some part of her felt a bit better thinking that maybe the God casted her away from it all to be destined elsewhere, but she couldn't help but question if that theory was true.. What reason was it toward?

"Although if it's true they casted me to this realm.. I do not know what to do." A lost lamb, fell into the crater just sometime before her marriage ; arranged as it was and loveless, it felt a bit too close to that moment to be something else. Was something of a destiny to be formed? She didn't know ; there was not guidance, no family to tell her otherwise. Just a mother whispering in her head before she departed, and all her teachings.

Smile when everything goes wrong, for then when the good comes it'll be better.

Aries took a deep breath, she felt a bit shaky, including her paws.. But she smiled, that was all that she could to the woman named Olive, and the land she stood on. Although her golden eyes gazed to Olive who seemed to stir uncomfortably despite the curiosity ; she was heavy within her due and surely they were kicking and squirming, "I may not be an expert, but perhaps I can find you some herbs to help your pregnancy, to thank you for not treating me as an enemy."

Aries admitted to being one who believed in Gods, but not partaking in prayer — to Olive, this belief was something akin to a ‘bare minimum’ when it came to progress through life with some sense of meaning, and placement. She didn’t often come across beings with no belief in the divine at all (and those she did meet tended to be very morose individuals indeed), but Olive tended to always marvel at those who recognized something omnipresent, but didn’t give it any more credence than the wind or rain (both of which had an indelible effect on one’s life still, did it not?).

“That would be as if you were living amongst a buffet, but did not eat!” she remarked with good natured, as she knew those who boasted her godsense were few, and those with the beliefs that resembled Aries’s own were many. She loved many of them, Tiberius and Archon included, so Olive easily realized it was not her responsibility to show these people the way. She led her life how she wanted, and she would support those around her as best she could while respecting the validity of their own choices.

Then the arctic wanderer offered her hand at finding herbs, to which Olive replied with a silent, soft smirk.
“Do you know what to look for?” The Priestess was almost certain that Aries wouldn’t have offered if she didn’t know what she was doing (pregnancy is one state where knowledge of contraindications mattered greatly, and then there was always a chance of misidentifying the herbs themselves). However, if all she had to offer was a helping hand, Olive would be grateful for it. There was nothing that couldn’t be taught.

There was more than enough time in her schedule, and room in Duskguard’s ranks.

The woman before her surely was of the maiden of the Gods, and Aries chuckled to her light-hearted gesture, "perhaps, but my appetite is like that of a cats, picking apart so often." Not toyed away completely by the grace of the heavens and yet only every so often would she diverge to prayers and devotions. Though maybe in this life just a bit more ; for why would she be here if not for their whimsical ways, or casting her in some sort of destiny? Although, Aries could not see herself truly being a devoted woman to the divine — but her interest in the spiritual realm and that of the lore of the world itself, was often tempting.

She then nodded, "although I would not call myself an expert, I have experience at being of a doctor, and aspiration of a midwife.. Perhaps I could lend a paw, as I gain my barrings to this new land." Her paws shuffled a bit nervously, but she tried to appear with a cool upfront in the other who granted such kindness ; that the arctic wolf pushed lightly in wondering whether her kindness would stretch to as far as allowing her.. To stay, for some time. She would not be useless, she hoped, if the other's grace allowed her so.

"I hope that is not imprudent of me," and a more docile smile, one of understanding if of a rejection. She was already given so much leeway by just being on their land. Yet where else, would Aries go? To a north that she didn't know, and wolves of regions she knew not of allegiances.. Friendly, or foe?

Everything was too new, and frankly, the unknown can be quite terrifying at times.

Silently, Olive knew that she would have to go and l leave an offering of gratitude for the Gods, for were they not the most generous? The woman was slowly becoming used to the idea that she lived in a world where wolves could drop out of the air and yet remain unharmed; but it was an easy thing to get used to, when the wolves were as soft and lovely as this one. Had a hellhound been found, spitting mad — the story would be a little bit different.

Her tail began to sway freely, and Olive did little to stop it.
“I daresay that you might have been the perfect woman to drop amongst our modest lands,” she chuffed brightly, knowing deeply that Aries had honestly struck out as far as locations and timing; the Vale in the summer was a grand sight to behold. “Welcome to Duskguard,” The Priestess welcomed, shuffling backwards as if to reveal the land to the newcomer, despite her already being fully-and-well inside. “We’re very happy that you’re here.” she said with a fond warmth to a voice, and a tip of her head. It was nice to have another friendly soul here, especially with her oncoming matrescence.

No, to be surrounded by woman during these rites of passages was almost a necessity.

She was more then happy to be accepted and her smile bloomed brightly. At the very least, it was something while she figured out what was happening ; as it all felt like a whirlwind. Her heart pittered lightly, the wondering of what happened to her sister, what happened to the other wolves that fell as well. Yet even when she glanced around one more — it was only herself, and Olive, who graciously gave her a home through all of this.

A woman who fell from the sky, a story she would have to take a double-check if it wasn't her that was the fable. But at least while trying to find her roots, Aries would find herself pre-occupied with an additional help to the experienced midwife. When she thought of children.. Her heart softened.

Maybe the Gods really did cast her a new destiny, and she would welcome it fully while following the Priestess.
