The snow didn't particularly bother her despite her fur being wispy and not at all puffy like some other snow dwellers yet today seemed to be a kinder day where there was not a harsh wind to bite against her slender form, so really, thicker fur or not she was doing well. Every so often the woman might feel a chill, her dandelion gaze drifting across the tundra as they walked. "Do you fancy the snow, Sylas?" The Rose inquired softly to her companion, decorated in tones that seemed to fit their surroundings more than her own.
They had not parted ways and for that, the Rose was thankful. As much as she knew she would adapt if she were to be a lone wolf, there was something different about having company. A constant companion one could rely on -- though ultimately she had found there was only one wolf truly loyal to you and it was yourself. Despite that, the prickly flower finding herself trusting Sylas more and more as the days went on and together they traversed the land.
She sought to guard her heart from the sadness it had felt from the way her marriage had failed and how she did not fit quite so snuggly into the expectations of a lady of her lineage might. Genevieve didn't mind not fitting a certain mold, for she seemed to be the one to shake foundations. Divorce was unheard where she was from and to be granted one was perhaps history, so truly, did it matter if she was guarded? Even if her dandelion gaze might appreciate the man at her side more often than she cared to admit, Ginny didn't think more of it.
She daren't.
Genevieve danced forward on slender legs, her tail flourishing behind her as she cast her head over her shoulder to him, "perhaps we might find a jewel, here within the snow. Something to enjoy." They had yet to find something, anything, to want to tie themselves to. Aside from each other, it seemed.
