Welcome to Canis Major

a wolf and animal rpg (role-playing game)

Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Most characters on Canis are wolves; many play elements are focused around wolves and canids, but the world makes room for a large variety of other animal characters such as dogs, horses, cats, bears, deer, and many, many more.

Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

What the tiger decided to say was well thought out, it was a prescriptive statement.  It wasn't a statement saying that he had forgiven her or that she should even forgive herself.  Rather, that the remainder of her life's actions should be in service to clearing the scales so that she could live with herself.  If only it was something that could have been learned sooner.  If she could have know that she would have felt such self hate before she killed the child, maybe things would be different.  But, she chose to serve her will to power and now she presumably hated herself for it.

Narrowing his eyes, he wasn't sure that she understood what he was trying to say.  But she was free to take it how she wanted.  The offer of friendship was tempting, there was a certain candor about this woman that he greatly admired though, the idea of being close to someone who could drag him into such tragedy was frightening.   "Perhaps we will be...", he responded quietly, implying that he would have to see a great deal of action from the woman.  It would be foolish to take her words at face value, time would tell what sort she was.

The last time they had hunted together, she seemed so different.  "I may take you up on that.", he breathed, exhausted.

"Farewell." She would turn into the fog itself, to sink back into the sea and swim to the shores of the isle itself. Although she paused for a moment, turning her head one final time at him, "if you see Olympia again, you can send her back by telling her I know what she has been up to." At the very least if Kuhn threw her name, the tigress may listen to just a bit and venture home. A weaponized words that could dwelve to some help at the very least, if she decides to terrorize the scarred feline.

Then with so, a smile upon her face she would venture back into the sea, and return home.
