@Olive

@Kuhn would follow behind him in a day, seeking to inform Valmua and Ragnar of his plans. Tiberius had gone ahead, knowing that he had spent too much time from @Olive now and that it had been far too much time in-between, especially since Tiberius had told her that he was going to Shiroshika to let Reiko know of her survival. Too much time had been taken and he could only wonder what had gone through her mind when he had not come knocking for her.

He knew that they were going to have plenty to talk about, so much to divulge and work through but he did not cower from it. His experience with emotions was... limited but he was working on it, with Olive's help. Weirdly enough, with Kuhn's too. His strides were long and almost quick as he came to Cloudrest, knowing his love was there. He would bark after a short howl, hoping that Olive would come to greet him. It had been so long, Tiberius thought and never again would he allow such time to pass between them again. ^^

heat day 3

The days, for Olive, grew long. There wasn't much that needed doing. The weather not only warmed, but it became hot. The spring-sought gems not only sprouted, but blossomed. No longer did the skies withhold their rain; the recent afternoon showers surely proved that. All things moved forward without her influence, which was fine, because she had become somewhat reclusive and was not privy to any of these beautiful turnings of spring. Unless it happened within a ten-foot radius of her densite, then she simply wasn't aware of it.

The usually vagrant Olive resigned herself to captivity for several reasons, the overarching two being 1) she would loathe for her spiced scent to attract the attention of wandering, ill-intentioned males, who might disturb the relative peace of Frostchant, and 2) she had been well-advised by several others to stay where Tiberius would know to return to find her. He would return, @Eira had assured her, and she should probably be here so as not to miss out of the sweet reunion that was assured to them.

— but to be confined to her own little corner of the universe, during a time she felt so vivacious and alive, it was almost torturous and thus was the reason Olive felt every minute (nay, second!) of the time she spent gnawing away at roots, or plucking and drying leaves, of doing absolutely nothing of true importance. Then, on one day that was not unlike any other, the howl she so longed to hear rang out from the borders.

Olive was there within minutes.

Her heart fluttering like that of a hummingbird, the pale woman laid her bright, ebullient eyes upon him and quickly surveyed his every limb and body part, assessing if he had been hurt, or (at this point) newly scarred in any way. It didn't seem so; all she saw were the familiar, distinguished grooves etched deep into his face. He was so beautiful to her, that it almost moved her tears. She tossed her head and blinked heartily at him, as if the vision of him might fade away.

"My sun and stars, I can't believe the magic brought you back to me," she gasped, when his herculean presence stood strong. Olive hadn't been certain that her druidry and spellcraft would have been effective, but she had bargained with the Gods and they had rightfully heard her plea, somehow smoothing the path that laid between them so that it was naught. Now he was here, and her mind swam with the dizzying possibilities that was in the midst of convincing herself out of.

The shewolf drifted forward a step, a smile dazzling upon the split of her maw. "Have you been traversing every mountain, desert and ocean of the entire world?" she asked him, quite incredulously, surprising even herself with the sing-song of her voice, which had been waylaid for several days now. She dipped her nose and paced another step forward, eyes narrowing at the atramentous titan."You must know that i've been missing you," the woman forewarned. She imagined herself a rattlesnake, all coiled and hissing — warning her prey of her inescapable, eventual, venomous kiss.

She didn't leave him waiting. Tiberius had been so wrapped up in seeing her materialise that he hadn't completely registered that Olive's scent had altered itself. The titan's shoulders slackened with comfort as she approached, his molten gaze filled with affection as he watched her, drinking her in like she was a tall glass of wine and he a mother who's children were gone for the weekend. "I's always gonn' come back ta yer, Angel," Tiberius mused, relishing in the sound of her voice in his ears.

The plan hadn't been to be away for so long. Yet it had gone that way, the plan changed and shifted so many times that Tiberius had been lucky to have found Kuhn at all, though Vendrussel was certainly someone to thank for that. She had provided him with extra information that had reminded him that he'd known Northfall's leader and how had he not thought to look there to begin with?

Had he missed someones smile before? Could you miss a smile? Tiberius supposed it possible since he had certainly missed Olive's and to see it on her delicate features now, because she had seen him, made the beast almost shiver. Would he get used to the feeling? Tiberius hoped not, wishing he could relive it whenever he so desired. Perhaps that was the good thing about memories, wasn't it?

Feeling spicy, was she? Certainly she was as she eyed him, her sing-song words making him chortle. "Mountains sounds 'bout righ'," he drawled back, the sing-song sounding less charming in his rough vocals than her enchanting own. She was telling him off! Playfully, mind you, but he supposed there was an element of truth to her words as she looked upon him with narrowed gaze, his silvery brows raising. "Ay, ay," Tiberius warded her off and lifted a silvery paw to try and boop her nose. "Yer feisty today, darlin'," he teased lowly as he eyed her. "I's missed yer somet' fierce, Angel, I's promise yer that," he rumbled as he tilted his head to her. "Trust, I's was as blindsided as yer," it was then that it hit him.

Olive smelt different.

Olive smelt... Olive smelt tantalising.

Not to say she didn't ordinarily because she did, every single part of Olive tended to do something to the titan but this was different. This pulled at something far more primal and instinctual than her scent usually did and his molten gaze grew vibrant with a blaze. "Olive..." had she -- had she been like this long? Had she been alone this entire time, smelling the way she had and he had been goddamn -- Tiberius exhaled as he eyed her, stepping closer as he narrowed his own molten gaze. "Definitely been away too long," the titan swallowed, flexing his toes on the ground. ^^

It was hard for Olive to imagine a world where she had not spent every moment of the last month pining away for her lover; it had occupied nearly every nook and cranny of her mind and memory since the day Tiberius left her at Cloudrest to recover while he checked in on his beloved Shiroshikans. Tiberius had been quite busy since then, it was easy to assume (not only by the length of his absence, but) from the tired, roadworn look upon his face —

It was something Olive could not say for herself. Her magick was barely needed amongst those of Frostchant. Riannon had her husband, a healer as fierce as he was a father, to tend to her and her children. Certainly she had befriended the great gentleman Thraximundar, but as she had professed to the bear himself, mending bones was relied more on time than hands-on medicine work. @benry was scarce, after the ickiness between them came to head. She wanted to ask Tiberius about his travels, and to inquire about where his entire pack had disappeared to, and why didn't he smell at all like them; she wanted to bemoan the spiritual enigma she was in, about how no longer acted as Frostchant's guiding hand, but her mind wouldn't let her focus on anything but her most basic of impulses. She had been left alone for too long, and been inert for one too many days.

Well, that, and her incensed hormones weren't doing her any favors.

She loved the way he looked at her. Olive assumed Tiberius loved the way she was looking at him, because she was doing her very best to look endearing and disarming; even as he play swiped at her nose, she relished in his momentary touch, quite unsure if this was reality or one of her many fever-dreams. He called her feisty and she swallowed a small giggle, her eyes flashing in the bright daylight. "I'm happy you're back, that's all." she cooed as she finally reached out and placed a kiss on his silver-tipped cheek, drawing in the scent of him and holding it within her.

Olive would have easily conceded if she had needed to wait to become a mother; like all things cyclical, a season came and a season went, eventually to return again. It had never been in the cards for her before in her still-short life, but now that Tiberius (or at least, the vision of him) was with her, all things seemed so clear and manifest. She easily forgot and forgave the forces that conspired to keep him from her — they, too, had been easily swayed by her prayer, so why not return the favor? "Where have you been, my bear?" was all she could manage to inquire of him, and even still as she exhaled, she involuntarily shuddered as the breath left her body. "I've been needing you." she uttered in a honeyed whisper, her face (and that perpetual winsome smile) hovering centimeters from his.

The thing was... Tiberius knew she meant it. Not a single bit of doubt coursed through the titan as she told him of her happiness at seeing him. His marred lips twitched into a side-smile as he hummed, leaning into the touch of her kiss that set his cheek aflame. In return the titan would draw a kiss along her muzzle, struggling to keep himself at bay.

Tiberius wanted to answer her question, he did, because he wasn't in the business of not giving Olive what she wished for yet all he could focus on was one of her desires, how she had needed him so. It was a low growl that rumbled from him as he looked down at her, his shoulders twitching  as he felt the control leave his body -- how could she have expected him to truly be able to focus when she smelt the way she did and she spoke her florally words to him?

"Olive..." the titan bit out as he drew his lips along her muzzle, up her cheeks and to the base of her ears with gentle nibbles. "I's will answer wha'ever yer want but righ' now..." Tiberius managed as he breathed her in, the affection, the missing, the longing of her all crashing down at once. "Need ta show yer 'ow much I's missed yer too." When the fuck had he gotten so forward, so comfortable with this part of him he hadn't ever opened himself up to?

When he had met Olive, Tiberius thought wryly. No one else had managed to make him feel those desires, those wants, to see beyond just merely noting that someone might have been attractive. Before her, he had been so focused and dedicated to his duty, to ensuring he was at peak performance so that he could do his duties properly, so focused on protecting and fighting -- he hadn't ever looked beyond. Now, he had looked and Tiberius found he would never return. Not when he had Olive before him. "Come," he almost demanded, "privacy. Now, Angel."

Tiberius didn't often take such a tone, if ever with Olive but the desire burned in his molten gaze and he knew that she knew if she uttered one singular word, he would stop. That he would not push, pry nor whine. His claws dug into the ground below him, nostrils flaring as he waited to see if she would be encouraged by his urges. ^^

I'll post a new thread for us!

It was incredible, how all things were set aside the mere moment they were in each other's presence. All things were secondary to this; the in-out of their breath, the mutual beating of their hearts, their fur which sparked like nerves when brushed by the other. How easily were they reduced to nothing more than their bodies, as if ambition and power did not matter, all they craved was the nearness and the corrugation of their opposite equal, needing each other to be whole as yin needed yang. Primal would be a way to describe it — hardwired would be another.

The man stroked her jawline, and she could feel his touches reverberate down her throat into the pit of her stomach. He said her name, and it acted like a spell, pulling his own moniker from the tip of her slavering tongue."Oh, Tiberius..." the seraph breathed from high in her breastbone, allowing her eyes to slide closed and she couldn't imagine anything that was more perfect or right than Tiberius longing for her as she longed for him, both when they were far apart and when they were inches away from on another.

He demanded privacy, and Olive could feel herself grow exasperated, not from the force of him (there were very few things she wouldn't give him, in the moment), but she couldn't imagine why privacy was important when he could simply mount her here and now and they could deal with any repercussions later.

The delicate shewolf whined as she grit her teeth together, realizing that this was precisely why Olive needed the Titan — he thought about the things she neglected, and they were always better off for it. There was nothing she wouldn't trust Tiberius with, so if he said to leave, they left. Truthfully, after knowing how her relationship with Tiberius affected her rank within Frostchant, she had no desire to further flaunt her coupling. The world outside Frostchant was treacherous, but the woman felt right and just with the confidence and purpose she suddenly felt.

"We mustn’t attract attention to ourselves," Olive agreed, pulling forward and past Tiberius, pressing her body against his as she snaked on by. "I know where we can go," she quipped, licking down several swathes of fur on his tail until she reached the tip, and she continued to saunter away from the guarded safety of Cloudrest towards the Elsewhen, quite more confident to abscond than she had been before. Now Tiberius was here, and their business together had just begun.
