Black sand.
He had never seen a thing before. The Jester King wasn't certain what to think of it other than to stare in awe for a moment as he digested the sight. The light sea scent in the air was just like any other ocean breeze, and the sand itself felt like regular grit... it was both beautiful and ghastly fo something to be so peaceful as well as ghoulish.
Casting his seafoam gaze out to the beaches and toward the setting sun, he couldn't help but wonder if the figures in the sky would arrive again tonight or if last night would be their last. Did their presence truly mean something more than just a celestial play for all to watch? So far... no. It was just a strange sight as though one was watching a meteor shower and nothing more.
Still, he couldn't help but let his imagination run wild with possibilities. Some more pleasant than others.
