@Kuhn

She had found the barrier of the tundra and to the warmer areas. Rin could feel the heat on the wind as it gradually brushed through this moor of beauty — flowers that graced the territory as spring was in full bloom. Looking beyond she could vaguely make the sight out of beaches and forests ; but they were not snow-tipped, indicating the clear land of where the north stopped reaching.

It seemed that @Daighre was right on it being true north — though she knew, she didn't realize simply how close they were to the other regions itself. The warm wind didn't suit her though, feeling her paws graze with a slight heat in a sweating, for she was unused to even the slightest warmth. .. Rin would get used to it, eventually. At least she hoped, with no memories she wasn't even sure if she ever lived beyond where it felt natural — the tundra.

At the very least the Alpin Moors weren't unbearable compared to some areas. Just something she would have to adjust too, as her gray eyes scanned the area. Everything was but a moor of flowers, and yet.. There was something on the wind that didn't smell like wolf, and she couldn't help be draw a gaze toward it.

Every day under the care of northfall, he was feeling better and better.  Some wounds where healing better than others.  Boredom lead him to explore the surrounding area more and more.  The cat recognized that, in a way he was actually patrolling their borders.  Gross

On the eastern side of the border he could see an open grassland, full of flowers, and lots of places to hide. Leaving @Ragnar' s claim the cat stepped out, maybe this would be a good place for a hunt. After some time it was apparent that the area was rich in small game.  Though not typically his thing, he needed to get back in the rhythm, without the heavy physicality of large game hunting.

The grass was helpful, allowing his coat to aid him in practically disappearing into the landscape.  Stalking the smell of hare, he was eventually able creep up on his prey.  With only a few strides of running, his large paw landed atop of the rodent, practically impaling it with his claws.  It only shreiked for a second before he was compelled to split its skull in his jaws, with a crunch.

Lowering his hind legs to the ground, laying with the hare, he was obviously enjoying himself.   It was his first catch since before the Walrus, and it felt good, no matter how humble it was. Flitting his tail back and forth, his posture was relaxed, gently licking the blood from the face of the large hare.

Something caught his attention over the smell and taste of blood: another wolf.  Mid lick he paused, the big cat's calm gaze met the grey woman's.

Within the distance, was a tiger. Though enjoying his maker within the land of flowers, he did not seem intent on the hunt. Though from vague knowledge, he was like a tiger that was normally known, and unlike the gray one that was spotted within other mountains. But like that one, there wasn't that familiar hostility, the aggression peak predators would give so and but a simple.. Observation.

Rin looked around — there was only them within this field. Hills of green rolling and swathing within an alpine beauty of purple flowers. Plenty of them, maybe far too many that even if she steppeed around there was but an endless field, and it seemed quite an unusual sight, for a tiger to be in the midst of so.

"Do you speak too?" Calmly, though she addressed for their eyes had met and.. There was nothing. Not an intimidating or a growl, almost as if it was two wolves, looking at each other.

This realm was quite unusual, perhaps too unusual. But she'll get over it.

Placing his paw back on top of his catch, he tilted his head up to look at her from a side angle.  "No. I don't speak.", he answered with a chaotic grin.  From the side eye, he looked over the grey wolf from top to bottom, looking over her shoulder.   By the smell she wasn't from shiroshika, but he couldn't help but subtly scan the nearby area for the rest of any pack that might be following her.

Once he felt he was in the clear, he lowered his head down, to pop a leg from the hare, swallowing it down after a single crunch from his back teeth.

"Ah, pardon." Now that she knew, this land let anyone speak. Regardless, of species it seemed as if language transcended beyond just each other and divided into one synonymous one. Yet.. When she spoke French to the red-eyed one, he didn't understand her. She looked down in a thought, curious as so for a wondering on why it seemed like they all spoke the same species-language, and yet when it came to culture itself..

"Parlez-vous français?" Rin decided to test some waters in this matter. He seemed reasonable enough, even maybe a bit mischievous — but deducted, she wouldn't get hurt. So the gray wolf looked up at him and asked.

Again, he returned to the hare, he would have to finish it before he could really give the woman, his full attention.  This time opting to pin the hare to the floor and tear it in half at the midsection.  With a few more crunches that half of the hare was gone.

Licking some blood from his lips he looked up at the woman, narrowing his brow.  Shaking his head he was obviously confused.  Was she just messing with him?

"Apologies once more, I am adjusting to the area." Cracked in stoicism, disappointed was vaguely upon her face for a moment. How strange, that though languages transcended beyond species, her own native tongue — or at least what her mind thought was, could not be understood. Did she somehow wound up somewhere beyond where she was originally from? So far away? Even if Rin tried to think about her steps, she would never really know. She couldn't even remember, after all.

She calmly traced her face back to a normalcy, still-looked as she gazed to the tiger who was but a bit splashed with the smallest blood from hunt. As she gazed even more so — he was injured. That'd bring anyone fear on whoever could harm a tiger, and could naturally on presume.. Another tiger did so.

"Are there many tigers within the north?" she so asked, as met one, now him.. And the presumed one who attacked.

Needing another moment to finish his snack, he took note at the accent the woman spoke with.  He hadn't heard one like this before.   Like the first half of the hare the second half occupied almost his entire maw, yet with a few more crunches it was in pieces, then it was entirely gone.  He knew that lack of table manners could be considered rude, but didn't quite care right now, he needed all the food he could get lately.

Licking his lips, he dusted the ground where the hare was with his paw.  "Ah... No problem, you must have just got here?"

He couldn't help but tense up a bit when he noticed, she was observing his wounds, pulling his appendages under him a bit more, as if to prepare to fight again.  Narrowing his gaze at her, he still remained laying down, though tense. "Sun-cat, Tiger...  There are only a few...", he wondered why she was asking.

Rin nodded, "I woke up in a northern forest." Whether that meant something to the tiger, his actions or words would most likely infer such. It was still strange she simply 'woke up' without memories, and couldn't even say if she walked toward it. The gray wolf had to dig herself out of the snow pile, an indication that she had been laying there for long, but her body didn't feel cold enough to accurately say so. The situation overall was.. Confusing. She needed knowledge.

She noted he tensed up. Yet if he had plans to attack her, Rin imagined he could've done that already. As a mere wolf, a tiger could easily taken her out — and yet, he hasn't. There was an edge that she didn't know was there, like something happened, as surely his scars shown a battle of sorts. She gazed around the moors — the sighting of more and more purple flowers within the view. Even as she raised her snout and sniffed, there was no blood within the mix of so, and only the tigers. The fragrance of so was vastly within the air, that even though she could smell some sheep, most likely grazing within the distance, it was covered by so.

There was no other tigers either — but more within the tundra as she moved her head and looked back toward the north, before facing the tiger again, "I am Rin," she said calmly, as she felt relatively relaxed.. But her paws were ready to shift to run, if so needed. It didn't feel she'd need to though.

Now that he had satisfied himself with that small meal, she had his full attention.  Waking up in a northern forest.  "That sounds familiar, do you remember anything from before?", he asked, curious about her awakening. Extending his claws for a moment, he licked something out of one of them, before looking back to the woman.

"Kuhn", was all he said with a rumble, placing a paw on his own chest.  "A pleasure..."

There was a silent for a moment, a hesitation whether to really say so.. But there wasn't really anything he could do with the information if she confessed, likewise not as if it could harm her anyway. It seemed more like a view of a weakness that she was like a lost lamb, within these world of so, "No." With thought she would confess so, for in truth she really didn't remember anything except for her name. She couldn't even remember her own face.

"Is that common?" But such a question brought her own thoughts. If he asked that, were there a few others that were in the same situation? Somehow that brought a bit wary to her soul even if Rin didn't seem like that and gazing with a tranquility of a calmness. She didn't want to let it to disturb her even how wavering that seemed.

.. It was a bit strange to be talking to tigers so normally as well, but that also seemed but a usual within the region.

"Ya... Its pretty common.", putting his feet underneath him. Transitioning himself into a bow, the cat stretched himself out raising his tail for a moment. Rocking back forward, he stood up showing more of his true size. "Same thing happened to me... Others remember bits and pieces."

Walking perpendicular to the woman, he looked back a few times in passing from different angles. Yawning for a moment, he cut himself short, fighting it off by shaking out his mane.  "If you are lost, maybe I can point you in the right direction?"

Tigers were big, that was a fact. Her eyes grazing him within form — were all tigers, so big or was it but a coincidence like wolves? She found herself relatively average were others were either smaller ; but hasn't met one extremely taller then herself in this land, but knew they so existed. Rin had knowledge, knowledge she couldn't say how she had, just that she instinctively knew but couldn't remember when or where.

Life was growing complicated, as she looked away slightly in such a thought. It wasn't good that it was common — but it seemed not everyone lost their memories.

She turned her head back calmly so, a watching eye toward him when he mentioned pointing her to the right direction, "How so?" she inquired. The definition of 'lost' was vague. Perhaps she was a lost wandering soul, but Rin felt herself rather planted evenly around.. She just needed to get her barrings, to get knowledge to protect herself.

But not even she could answer what she needed to protect herself against.

Pointing his nose back up into the air, he was already probing around for leads for his next meal, one hare was hardly enough.

Shrugging his shoulders, "Well... I have been around, if you are looking for anything in particular?" , turning his attention back to the woman. He didn't know how long she had been here. The cat could probably point her toward what she was looking for: packs, water, hunting, other places of interest. But, if she chose not to share, he couldn't help.

"Knowledge," Rin said point-blank. If he offered to give some help, which was unexpected, she would take his offer and wonder so, "what is safe, and what is not." The general consensus of survival was a mandatory need. She would fight, if needed to, as all wolves would — but the arctic woman wasn't someone that particularly wanted to, and if anything, would prefer to avoid where it was unnecessary. She wasn't defending anything after all, nothing was important to her at the moment besides.. Survival.

Her gaze drifted to his scars especially. Fresh — something, was out there that was not pleasant. Something Rin thought she would need to avoid at the very least. There was something about a pack that wasn't the best from a wolf she had met, but that was most she had gotten. If there was something more, she very much would like to know.

By what she said, she meant it when she said she was searching for knowladge. It was odd for a wolf to be asking a tiger what was safe and what was not, because she didn't know him, the very act was very unsafe.

Curious now Kuhn walked in closer, exaggerating his stride. "Knowladge..." , he almost purred, now within range to make note of the woman's scent. "A month ago I killed a few wolves..." , he said, letting the inflammatory statement hang. "Though, I am not the worst creature in the tundra."

"Without wisdom knowladge is fruitless. Beware those who speak with honied words, their fangs could be close behind."

"And those who, are ceartian of their goodness, have assured their wickedness."

She was taken back — but tried not to let it show, but perhaps if he caught her expression quick enough he could tell. He seemed overall nice, and wasn't truly expecting his wounds to be but an attack — she could only imagine it was a flock of them, a pack, for not one or two could cause injuries so easily. He gave words of wisdom, but Rin was more focused on the factor he mentioned of a murder, so nonchalantly.

"Why did you kill them?" she asked, an attempt without true judgement.

Why would he just share that with a stranger? Mulling it over he didn't respond right away. Maybe it's because she would be impartial, or that he just had alot to get off his chest.

"Really, I had no choice... My fangs where borrowed. Their lives where laid down for the ego of someone who felt that their words deserved to be taken seriously."

Sitting himself down, he tried to relax his posture to show he wasn't threatening the woman in any way.

"I probably almost died in that fight..."

He was vague. He didn't give specific details that led to the situation, but the thoughtline that he had no choice — a beast, as powerful as he was, was left to the fangs of wolves and dead-locked to a wall. She mulled over it with a thought, for logic felt elsewhere and he didn't explain what led up to what happened — but even Rin knew she shouldn't expect a stranger, to share a recent battle with another stranger.

An ego of a wolf though was not unheard.

But they could not match the fangs of a beast, at least, not alone.

"Thank you for your time, I will leave you to rest your injuries."

Rin would remember this, and remember that the tundra did not seem as peaceful as it looked.

Keeping it intentionally vague, he almost regretted saying anything about it at all. Internally kicking himself, he figured he should have kept his mouth shut.

Dropping his head down below his shoulders, his tail lashed in discomfort. "So... Ya, I'm sorry. I guess I'll see you around..."

He should not have dumped that on a stranger.
