There was darkness, then there was light — the void between the removed all memories that once was, and once felt. There was nothing to say when it was all gray, except for the faint thoughts of abandonment, and a name circling her head — Rin.
But she knew nothing else, not even if she had parents, siblings, a home to call, only information that floated every so often. She knew what snow was, as she was buried deep within, and what cold was as well, for it sunk into the pits of her very soul as she shivered. A digging, gray and white paws in a desperation to remove all that was white and freezing, for it seemed.. She had been buried, in the midst of a madness of knowing where she was or who she was.
Then there was blue, the sky high up with the mixture of evergreens blocking the view and her head emerging from the pile of snow. Though she looked around — and that was all that there was. Snow, a forest, and no one else besides herself.
