Welcome to Canis Major

a wolf and animal rpg (role-playing game)

Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Most characters on Canis are wolves; many play elements are focused around wolves and canids, but the world makes room for a large variety of other animal characters such as dogs, horses, cats, bears, deer, and many, many more.

Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

He had turned from Reiko without hesitance, knowing that he no longer stood with her and her ideals. She had wanted him gone and gone he went, uncaring to the way it had broken down around them. The Iceling he had grown affectionate for had died a time ago, taken away when Vera attacked her. In her place stood someone new, strange and completely unknown. Tiberius would swallow his disappointment, betrayal and longing and cover it with the need to find Kuhn, to see if he was alright and to get back to Olive where his home sat, encompassed in all that was Olive. There had been no talk of Kuhn being dead and Tiberius had searched high and low of the Tundra for scents of Shiroshika and it had occurred to him that he hadn't really smelt Kuhn's scent, either.

So Tiberius assumed that he must have left the Tundra, the same as Shiroshika, after the ambush. His breathing was ragged as the titan drew himself up to a rocky slope where when he stood atop it, he could see all around him in the distance. The titans toes curled around the ledge and Tiberius eyed the distance with his confused, fury filled gaze and within seconds he drew his head back and screamed. He screamed into the mountains with fury and sadness, his muscles bunching up with tension as his scream ripped from his throat so raw that he thought he might cut it.

It died off and Tiberius withdrew his head, ears twitching to the way it had echoed and with one heaving breath, the titan turned around and started his descent. He would need to find Kuhn, somehow and the answer did not lie in the tundra. ^^
