They'd been travelling for a day or so now. Every night Zeus would try to invite the pinkish woman to come and snuggle up next to him for warmth and comfort - but she still seemed rather shy with his invitations. Every now and then he would wiggle his way over and if ballsy enough, drape an arm over her and shove his muzzle into her fur. He hoped she would accept his advances, and if not, it was a fun little innocent game to play. At least to him.

Another day, another place. This one was fitting for the beautiful duo to visit. Its natural beauty complimented the god and his little traveling companion. The water simply looked too delicious to pass up as Zeus wandered over to take a dip and drink his fill. The water was still pretty cold in the spring, ice still clung to the water in certain areas in thin layers but he didn't mind. It was refreshing and the spring flowers upon the shore were a clear sign that spring was on its way quickly.

He and the little rose woman had gone their own way for today, not too far from one another as he hoped should the need to move on arose. For now, he was enjoying the bath and occasional drink, sinking into the cold waters with a satisfied sigh. He couldn't help but wonder... what would it take for the girl to let him have a little more fun with her. It was a shame and a waste if they never got to enjoy the blissful fun of adult entertainment.

Although they hadn't traveled very far nor for very long, the pair had made some headway in regards to exploring this new land. And to no surprise, it appeared that North's companion wouldn't be giving up on his advances any time soon. She hoped that by now he would have tired just a little, but the plum of a wolf was persistent. Annoyingly so.

Slowing her pace before coming to an eventual stop, blue eyes followed the god as he sprinted ahead to take a dip in the water. So far she had followed his lead, trailing behind and allowing Zeus to pick their path. But for now, if they were to take a break in their journey, North saw no harm in looking around for herself.

The woman made sure to remain in sight, only distancing herself a couple of meters away before spinning around to observe their surroundings, something she hadn't been able to do properly while focused on keeping up with her traveling partner. She wasn't entirely sure what Zeus's plan was, or if he had a plan to begin with. Was he looking for someone in particular? Wanting to find other wolves and potential friends? North didn't mind either option, she'd follow along regardless. But wandering aimlessly with no goal in mind was definitely concerning in an unknown land.

Slowly he washed, untangling his fur, making sure all dirt and grime were washed off in the cool waters to keep his appearance as godly as he saw fit for one such as himself. Eventually fish came to investigate whatever was sitting in the lake with them with no obvious intentions of hunting them. Nipping at his fur, toes and dirt he managed to kick up by moving around. It tickled, he paid no mind to them other than the childish grin that came with being just mildly ticklish.

The king turned to rest his chin on the shore, bright violet eyes watching as North investigated their surroundings and paying little mind to him. He wanted to ease that tension of hers, to break their awkward wall between them the only way he knew how. His tail felt heavy while it happily waved through the water, it fought against the current and the weight of the water but snaked silently just below the surface regardless.

“Oh Nooooorth~!” He cooed lovingly, pausing just long enough to wait and see if she would turn to respond by looking at him. If she did, he'd give a cheeky, innocent smile. Almost childish in its wide-eyed glee. “I'll wash your back if you wash mine~” He wiggled, clearly an attempt to just get closer to her once again.

North wasn't sure what she was looking for. It seemed like they had both been wandering with no particular goal in mind, but the woman still felt as if they were here for a reason. Not some 'purpose from the gods' type of ordeal, but to wake up in a strange new place with no memory of how she arrived hadto mean something.

Ears twisting back as a familiar voice echoed in the air, the she-wolf turned to face her companion with a curious stare. What was he up to now? During their travels she had definitely considered giving into some of the plum-colored wolf's advances just to see if it'd quiet him down enough to get a day of peace and quiet. But he was so persistent that she doubted her plan would work.

Despite this, his offer was for sure tempting. North hadn't tested the water, so for all she knew it could be too cold for her liking. But it was worth a try, and with a nod she casually made her way over to the lake. Dipping a paw into the water to test the temperature, she approved of the pond before joining the god and the fish.

Half-expecting North to ignore his offer, he still waited with a childish grin and eyed her with a wide happy glance. To his surprise, she accepted. Slowly making her way over to the water, testing it before slipping in, and he enjoyed every moment of her delicate movements and eventual soaking of her plush fur to hug her feminine curves. Maybe he was indeed somehow slowly chipping away at her defenses, and it delighted him. Zeus adored flirting and building up to the great moment even if it took a while - perhaps that is why he enjoyed sleeping around so much.

It wasn't so much as the act itself, but the build-up, the anticipation. Of course, the act itself was plenty of fun too so perhaps there was no real logic behind it that could explain his womanizing ways. “Here, I can start.” He said gently, approaching slowly against the pull of the water before brushing his already wet fur against her neck and cheek, should she let him of course. He'd take his time, test his boundaries, see how far she would let him go.

It was all so exciting!

“Hold still.” He cooed before starting the whole ritual, licking her muzzle, cheeks, and any of those hard-to-reach places on her face, ears and neck. Should she remain still as he asked, Zeus would be slow and thorough... watching and listening just in case he hit some kind of "pleasure" button on her, a sensitive spot he could exploit.

Submerging herself into the lake, her body tensed from the icy water, though for only a moment before her muscles and demeanor relaxed. It felt nice, refreshing, and North scooted just a little closer to her companion before settling in with a content sigh. She wasn't sure what Zeus was up to, but she made sure to keep a watchful eye on the wolf despite his kind gestures. So far he seemed trustworthy, but not necessarily faithful, and the woman found herself concerned about what trouble he might get them both into.

And yet she complied with the order, holding as still as she could, only shifting her head to allow the plum wolf to better reach her face. Eyebrows angled in a somewhat confused shape, she studied him as much as he studied her.

Hmmm nothing. Damn. And yet Zeus was still not willing to let this one go just yet, she was not a lost cause not until someone else came along at least. Once happy with his grooming of her face, nipping and tugging any knots free from her features as gently as he could - he took a step back to look at his masterpiece. “Beautiful!” He sang happily, if he could do a chef kiss he would.

Rounding around to her front, he sat down into the wet sand underneath them and struck a pose, tilting his head just enough to make it an easy reach for her but juuuuust enough so she had to work for certain places. “Okay, now do me.” He wiggled happily anticipating her climbing all over him.

It was definitely strange, but not uncomfortable or unpleasant. North remained as still as she possibly could, allowing her companion to groom her face and neatly rearrange any ruffled fur. Perhaps this was a good idea, and she'd look better than ever once they were finished. Smiling as Zeus stepped back to admire his work, she trusted that his satisfaction was an indication of a job well done.

And now it was her friend's turn. The woman waited until the wolf was seated, taking a moment to examine his face first and see if there were any noticeable imperfections to fix up first. North was aware that this would be difficult. Zeus was a larger and taller wolf, and it'd take a bit of stretching to reach his entire face. But she'd do the best she could, and if he didn't like it, then too bad.

Maybe it would be better to start lower and work her way up. Scooting forwards and extending her neck to reach, North decided to tackle his mouth and jaw first, somewhere she could reach a little easier. Licking at the fur and nipping at any tangles and knots, she was dedicated and focused on the job.

Zeus was a cheeky bastard. He masked it as a playful part of him and nothing else despite his ulterior motives, especially with the fairer sex. There was something about putting on the charm and seeing how quickly it took for him to get on top of them, to charm them, even males if he was lucky enough with them. He simply couldn't get enough of it, and as North pondered her next move at helping Zeus clean himself - he cheekily twisted his head and chin as if he was offering her the space to get into those hard to reach areas, but moving in a certain way just to keep it hard enough and see if he could get her to scooch closer.

The warmth of her breath against his skin, her teeth, and tongue grooming his face. It was a miracle he didn't try to take her just now, and if he was a lesser man he would have... Instead, he inched his way closer to her, seeing if he could get their chests to touch as she cleaned his face, beckoning her silently with small movements of his to get her to climb and get closer. Begging her to let him charm her, sweep her off her feet for a little while before Hera came to take him back to the life of being a proper husband.

She was growing more and more suspicious. North didn't think her companion was necessarily a bad wolf. He was just... to put it simply, a flirtatious fuck. Persistent without any idea what the word "rejection" meant. But, even after only a little while, she had warmed up to him, just a bit. She had to admit that he was charming, and she also had to admit that his charm was working.

But he kept moving! Eyebrows twisting as they furrowed together, her focused intensified as she leaned in further, trying to reach Zeus's larger face. The woman stepped closer, feet inching forwards through the water. If he wouldn't sit still, she'd have to give up. She was going to play this game forever. But for now, she'd try just a little longer. Stretching her neck while also being mindful of her balance, she continued her work the best she could.

North wondered if it'd be worth giving into his advances. She worried that he'd grow bored and leave her, and she'd be left without any protection or help. Besides, she would also be losing a friend. He was the first wolf she met since arriving here, and whether or not she liked it, the lightning wolf held a special spot in her heart.

Maybe, just maybe, if she gave in and had a little fun, he'd save her a seat in his life. Maybe she wouldn't be left behind.

Smirking as she grew annoyed, pearly whites glistening in the sunlight as she inched forward to keep trying to get to those hard-to-reach areas he just kept making it tough for her. Her small body against his heated his body, even the colder water they sat in couldn't cool him off.

In his little flirting game, he offered a little aid for her to reach those spots by sitting onto his haunches, balancing on his hind legs in the water and offering to stabilize her with his paws sneaking their way around her waist. Only now did he offer an easier angle for her, as if all her hard work was finally paying off with just a little leg up.

Zeus would test every little inch she'd give him. “You know~” He cooed in a sensual drawl, keeping a somewhat innocent tone, and yet he began to sneak in a certain... adult zing into his breath. “I didn't get your back yet did I?” This time those same violet eyes gave all his little secrets away - for under those half-lidded eyes, he offered a lust-filled gaze. His voice like smoke as he spoke just for her this time around, reaching to her ears with them being finally so close.

Things were finally getting easier. She came to a pause in her work, stopping to allow her companion to shift positions and take a seat before she continued her task. North definitely noticed the paw snaking its way around her waist, though she didn't bother shoving it off. By now the woman new that Zeus was harmless enough, and that he would only try again if she were to push him away.

However the she-wolf halted once more, tongue still peaking from her mouth as she listened to the inquiry. It was true, he hadn't yet groomed her back, but she was unsure if it was actually necessary. She thought her back looked just fine. But North knew he would keep insisting, so she complied, pulling her face away from his. What now?

More or less he was harmless. A horn-dog who loved to stick his sausage in almost anything with a pulse, yes, but in his heart, he thought he was a good man. He was only guilty of caring for his family too much, caring for how they were seen by others, for their safety by any means, their happiness even if it meant at the sacrifice of others - and guilty of course, of being a little too romantic with the wrong individuals despite his marital status.

But did all that make him bad? Immoral maybe, childish, but bad? Well, he didn't think so. Especially with how patient he's been in trying to break down North's barriers, insisting with his touches and closeness, but had he truly done anything wrong? [mind you this is all his thought, not mine 8) ]

As she pulled away, he gazed into her pale eyes for a moment as if trying to read her thoughts. Trying to get a sense of what she was trying to communicate. He wanted to love her after all, not force himself upon her. Trying to convey that the best way Zeus knew how, the only way he knew how, the man nudged the pinkish woman with a soft headbutt under her chin, running his head under hers affectionately before moving to her back as promised.

Here he preened her nape and along those hard-to-reach places along her spine. Untangling any knots and burrs, leaves, or stuff that could gather on one's back during their travels - all the while he kept himself close, bodies touching as he teased the idea of climbing ontop. Indicating his intentions and desires by bumping his hip against hers, light touches with his tail in the water and gentle nips and licks.

Sure, he was insistent- but never forceful. Someday he may find someone more willing but until then, he would simply keep trying until North would give the lightning man a chance to show her the pleasantries that came with travelling with an Olympian.

North feeling overwhelmed and confused was an understatement.

The situation wasn't complicated. The lightning wolf had made it very clear what his intentions were, and the woman wasn't necessarily opposed to having some fun. But she had a tendency to over-complicate simple matters, and there were so many conflicting emotions. What if Zeus had a family he wasn't telling her about? What if this was all apart of some bigger plan? Like blackmail or manipulation or something? He had proven himself so far to be a good wolf, but North still didn't know him well enough to say for sure.

She was tempted to just keep him at a safe distance. That way she didn't have to be as concerned about such thoughts. But what if those things weren't true, and she was just wasting her chance to have time with a genuinely charming guy?

Fuuuuuck. I hate myself right now.

Maybe she could compromise instead? Continue the flirting, but keep it at only that?

Wait. What if he's one of THOSE people who thinks they're amazing but is an absolute dumpster fire in bed?

For now the woman allowed Zeus to continue working on her back, and she had to admit that it actually felt quite nice. She only hoped that they wouldn't wander through a random dust storm or something (sure, dust storms in the mountains) and get their fur all messed up again.

But was she boring to him now? Would he just abandon her once he realized he wouldn't be getting what he wanted? Well, his loss. But even so, North would be left completely alone in an unknown land. Maybe she could prove her worth through hunting instead? She turned to peak at him, staring for only a moment to watch him work. 

Maybe if I get him to look in the water at his reflection, he'll fall in love with himself and leave me alone.

If only she could speak, tell him what she wanted and what she did not want. Of course, there was a certain air of excitement and intrigue that came with guessing, with trying to read her expression and body to attempt in understanding what was on her mind. But alas, he was no mind reader. He took her silent rejections as shying away as opposed to flat-out rejection, that she was either playing coy or just shy and uncertain of his advances but not utterly insulted or disgusted by him.

He continued his grooming along her back, down her spine, and back up again just to rest behind her ear. He wanted her, he wanted that casual fun with another beautiful individual. Oh, how he wanted to pleasure her! To pleasure himself! To pleasure them both! He breathed, steadying his breath so his voice may come out as smoothly as ever. “I will not force myself onto you.” He assured, certain she knew what was on his mind by now. There was no way she was that stupid.

“You're beautiful, North.” Should she allow, he'd nuzzle into the crook between her ear and cheek. “I wish to have fun, to make us feel good - give me a sign to stop, anything clear.” None of this shying away he hoped, a clear sign to stop, to step away.

But oh he hoped she wouldn't. A fire burned in his loins, it burned for her right now.

Her companion's words were comforting, however they did not ease the concerns floating around in her mind. She had so many questions, and not enough time to ask them or receive answers. North had only been in this odd land for a little while now, and she didn't want to screw up her relationships or reputation so quickly. Perhaps it was best to play it safe and wait.

Maybe they could have some fun in the future, but for now, the woman decided that this was enough. Besides, it'd be fun seeing the frustration in Zeus's face. Even though she was more than tempted to give into his advances, too many variations of trouble told her to stop. What if she intruded on a pre-existing relationship? Or, what if she grew attached only for him to leave? That'd feel awful.

So for now, North angled her neck and turned around once more to glance back at the lightning wolf, giving a small but firm shake of her head. She'd make him wait. She'd make him earn it.

Of course he would be disappointed as she signaled her desires for things to come to a halt. Instead of acting out like a child, the king of kings instead smiled. She was not one of his concubines or servants, nor was she one of his to command like those he had in a previous life. But still, that word fluttered around in the back of his head damn. He wanted her, that was for certain, but certainly not at the cost of their friendship if it meant pushing boundaries.

“Okay.” With that said, he offered distance between them. Facing the dryer lands and casting a glance over to his little companion. “Ready to dry off?” Was his olive branch to move on from a possible awkward situation. Zeus didn't want North to think he hated her now for rejecting him, but perhaps that he would see it only as a further challenge - which he would, again, until someone easier came along.

He'd let her go up first, maybe even offering a guiding nudge or push if her paws had a hard time gaining traction in the mud, but other than that, he would respect her desires to keep things non-sexual for now. For now, at least.
