Welcome to Canis Major

a wolf and animal rpg (role-playing game)

Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Most characters on Canis are wolves; many play elements are focused around wolves and canids, but the world makes room for a large variety of other animal characters such as dogs, horses, cats, bears, deer, and many, many more.

Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

Any Shiroshika wolves?

It seemed that majority of the mountains were claimed. She remembered quite some time ago, coming across their scent and yet she was too far to truly define whether it was a pack or not, and had moved on. Passing by once more, Uriel had caught their soft blooming smells, covering further beyond their mountain ; a display of more adventurous members, that led a curious trail back. Her nose to the ground she could pick up a few, but they were all too stale to truly know who they were, and whether she had met them once..

Uriel didn't dare to follow it back either, but had a curious look over to their mountains.

^^

She hadn't done as well as she would have liked, to meet and greet those of Shiroshika. It seemed her trauma had kept her nervous and eager to remain in the shadows, slinking about with worry and kept herself far away from the Springs. With the sweet Empress still struggling with her healing process, Ruelle had kept her distance but delivered a flower or two near her den, wanting @Reiko to know she was thinking of her and wishing her well, to be better soon. For herself and for them.

In the midst of berating herself, the petite woman hadn't noticed she had left the safety of their claim and had wandered across the uneven terrain, small stones flicking against her paws as she went from snow, to stone, to snow again. She paused, baby blue gaze uncertain as she tucked her tail neatly and tightly against the soft flesh of her belly. This was a situation, certainly. She suffered a small sigh as she glanced around, perhaps it was good -- this forced her to deal with the situation. Thankfully no water lay near by, or else she might have been done then and there.

Uriel wasn't the type to approach about her curiosity, rather simply let it fester, and hope fate came to be. Even though she was curious about the Shiroshika wolves, and even the ones on the other mountain ; her interactions with them were quite limited. For all she knew though pure coincidence didn't let any cross her path.. Not that she knew what to say when she came across them — more just wondering.. What kind of wolves are they?

Her nose twitched, catching the scent of another nearby whose pelt heavily hung with a pack. Curious paws brought her over in time to hear a sigh.. Something that tugged in her heart — and she approached within a safe distance. A concern, was written on her face gently alongside her voice as she said, "excuse me miss, is anything wrong? You seem down."
