Where's my mind?

Her children were growing well, where they did not need a constant guard anymore. They could hunt by themselves, though lacked proper knowledge and dispiline for large game. She watched as some would gather to the rabbits and small birds, and cautiously followed them when they decided to stray a bit too far from their territory. Sometimes would order any of the Elkshire wolves to watch from the distance and assure their safety, while she guarded the borders for any strays. Too many that came across with an impudence that ruffled her fur — lately, at least, it seemed quiet. 

She took the chance to cross the river that led from The Elk's Crown into where the Nightwalkers claim. Though relatively far from their forest — the Queen knew wherever the sun may touch, would they attempt to take openly. For the shadows, always belonged to them. 

Celnes noted there was even more mountains beyond, though she could see them from a distance.. There was more then she had thought. A fiery eye looking upon them with an interest, but she was would not cross into them anytime soon. For in the end she would need to return home — but there was nothing wrong with observing them.. She wondered if goat too, roamed those peaks.
