Welcome to Canis Major

a wolf and animal rpg (role-playing game)

Canis is a writing community for play-by-post (forum-based), freeform roleplay set in a fictional dream world in the intrusion fantasy genre. Most characters on Canis are wolves; many play elements are focused around wolves and canids, but the world makes room for a large variety of other animal characters such as dogs, horses, cats, bears, deer, and many, many more.

Our community is focused on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. That boils down to a few important features:

  • There is no set activity requirement to write
  • The setting and plot are member-created and staff-supported
  • The game is continuously improved to increase fun and decrease stress

Orlaith felt restless. Unaware of what was happening between that of the Shiroshika empire, and just she laying within the background as a guard of so. No one came to confront her about her departure to the frosted lands to inquire about another... Only to be met with but an annoyance rather then a traitor, another love-stuck fool she so concluded. Though of course, even though she placed suspicion upon the other and interrogated him — the warrior wouldn't venture out to apologize. Wasn't in her nature, she would rather simply leave it as so, as the other continued his love routine of going back and forth.

None her business anymore, though a displeasure may occur with his time over there.. He wasn't being a spy or a traitor, and her interest had fallen in a disgruntled area of no more. It was true it wasn't her place, and now she used that excuse furthmore, even if it did not make sense.

Now restless once more, the buzzing, angry warrior ventured down to the endless puzzle, where once more.. Did she get lost. Swearing and cursing as so, as she bashed against the walls that would not break, "God, damn it!" The woman cursed to the heavens. She hated the area, truly so. The climb was like a maze, an area of trickery she detested so much, for everytime she entered, somehow one way or another, Orlaith got lost.

She was like a raging bull, constantly trying to swift between the pathways but everytime she did, it was always a dead end, which resulted more cursing, and more bashing. Head butting the walls in that hope just maybe it'd break down and she would get free.
