When she woke from her nap, there was something much different. Through sheer willpower her eyelids had peeled open, blinking through blurry, teary eyes as light crashed down all around her. The brightness, even in the back of the den, was blinding, and she squeaked and squealed alongside her sister as she tried to make sense of it all. Juliet wouldn't be able to see clearly for quite some time, but for now she was both excited and frightened by the newest awakening of her senses. The puppy tumbled forward on unsteady legs, rolling and flopping her way to the den entrance before releasing the world's tiniest awooo for attention.
