The area of claim was truly a place of not an ideal living situation. Within the waters itself was a land full of turbulent rocks and waves that continually to clash and crash against each other ; without proper ways of swimming and a single misstep would result into sinking of the pitch black waters below, and never appearing before. Though lavish upon finding the path hidden underneath the breaching sea, just barely enough to find so, and safely cross to the path. The the tides would go up, and there is no going in, or out.

Then there was the entrance, a behemoths lair she could call it. Night would be consisting of unusual calls unlike she heard within the visioned dream, yet now hearing so many times at night they plagued within. The beach was always covered in a layer of fog, never seemingly to drift away neither at night or day, and the only save brace was the sounds only cared for after sunset.

Yet such eeriness seemed to be desired by others, not only herself but a group now claiming more then they can. She counted it not officially her own, with not enough man power to do so, but appropriate hunting grounds, and a mission so that others will not attempt to claim before she does. Vendrussel scorched through the beach, her tail wisping behind with an ocean gaze watching out for those mysterious shadows in the distance. Friend, or foe?

The cat had kept the same latitude as his normal hunting ground and south of the lands of the Hravasken wolves. He had once met a wolf who carried mysterious prey. A strange blubbery mamul that came from the sea, so he set out to find it, to fulfill some wanderlust and hunger.

After a time if travel the striped beast pushed his way south until he reached the rocky crags covering the shoreline. The sounds of the sea echoed here, but he would have to watch his step. Plowing through the fog, the sea revealed itself. The cat sat atop a small cliff staring down at the mysterious sands below.

The fog and the dancing waves played tricks on the mind. Yet, there was a figure making it's way through the fog, and this one was more permanent than the other figments that where a combination of whisp and imagination. Kuhn postured himself up, waiting to see just what it was that would reveal itself.

Vendrussel was no stranger to those beasts that lurked within the northern regions. Mightier then the wolf that they were, and strictly warned to keep away, for though they try to keep the might of a dragon, it was still no use to the foes of the land. It angered some of the dragons though, and every once in a while there was a foolish yearling who attempted to beat the beasts themselves, and usually so, would never return back home.

Her paws dragged along the beach, when she felt a rock dig to the ground the woman would kick it toward the water, an occasional 'sploosh' would be heard. Though when it wasn't, the pebble was lost within the fog. When she misaimed and kicked one forward, there was but a disappointed smile that lifted to her face. She could see the shadow, the small stone that laid near but a larger, more fearsome wake.

A squinting of ocean eyes, she would've thought maybe the beast that kept calling toward the night was finally revealing itself. Yet, Vendrussel couldn't help but put a pause in time, a frozen body and a careful look. Closer she was, a foolish move on her own part - she should've watched more carefully. Though who knew, such a beast would crawl away from the tundra?

Don't fuck with tigers.

Watching the approaching figure, the beast looked on intently. Was this the type of prey he had come here to seek? A few moments later he would release his intent to pounce, as he recognized the familiar gate of a wolf. He had not come here to feast on wolves, If that was the intention he would not have traveled so far.

The cat squinted as the figure's posture began to change. Likely he had been noticed, as the fog could only conceal so much.

Coming this far his intent would be to at least make it down to the sand. So, the striped cat hopped down to the nearest ledge and began to pick his way down the rocks, to get a closer look at the sea and the strange figure in the mist. As the cat's paws hit the sand, he took a moment taking in it's strange and unfamiliar texture. Kuhn did not walk directly to the figure but lateral to them both showing off his size and moving toward the waterline. He side eyed the wolf, not showing aggression but keeping an eye on featureless form none the less.

It approached closer, and she moved back. Her body was close to the ground, though not in the ways of attack but for the motion to flee if needed. She knew that tigers though enjoyed the chase, the prey and predator game to be, so she yet to make such movements to attempt so. Though he didn't directly to come to her as he walked, onto the beach with unfamiliar paws and to the shoreline. Sometimes she thought his figure would be lost in the fog, and almost hoped for it.

Vendrussel didn't move and only kept an eye upon him. Even when the sounds started to come in.

A few steps further across the sand and his paws where lapped at by the sea.  The water here gently came and went, meeting the cat at his paws.  Taking it in, Kuhn noted the oddity of the smells here, it was all so alien to him. Odd sounds sang out as if the sea itself called, the tiger would have no bassline to compare to, the experience was wholly fresh and foreign.

Still the not so distant figure loomed in the fog, watching him. Still its details or identity remained unknown save for the familiar figure of a wolf.  The beast lowered his head inquisitively, "So... you are going to stand there, I guess ill break the silence."   His voice remained calm, and projected carrying that bit of baritone gravel one might assume from creature of his size.

"You speak wolf?" The tigers she knew cared little to speaking the same language, and though she remembered at times of communication as the elders would say they've attempted to.. It always fell flat, met with fangs and claws of them, a run away from the ferocious beast that wolves had trouble fighting against. One could not defeat such a beast, but only when mustered a large group could they overcome.

At the moment, she was alone.

Yet he spoke without animosity.

The woman still remained obscured to him, the fog continued to hold the final details of her form as a secret. There was actually a lot going on for the cat at the moment.  His senses overloaded with new things he wasn't sure where to start first.  There was the smell of the sea, the sand, the fog and the strange woman in it.

Twitching his tail in irritation, Kuhn stretched some tension from his neck.  "It would seem that I do..." he replied, pawing at the sand below him, not taking his gaze completely off the woman.  It then struck him again that his natural aloofness was being 'rude'.  It was a thought that came with some of his recent experience with wolves.

Attempting to further reduce tension he added a not well thought out question, "Are you from here? I'm looking to make a kill..."

The cat felt the familiar twang of regret with that question but decided to let it stand.  Hopefully she wouldn't take it the wrong way.

I rolled for this single post cameo.

As the age of wolves dawned, so too did the environment change. As though from nothing, a great forest had come. It couldn't be certain whether it had appeared through the fox or if it had simply always been there and never been noticed. Calls from predatory animals could be heard through night and day. Locked in time, none could know what lie within the centre.

A stone that was unlike the others among the sandy crags of the beach sat at the surface. Perhaps it had been intentionally moved there by some sentient beast. Perhaps it had fallen there, or washed up from a far off river.

Whilst a tiger and a wolf communicated in a bizarre display of uncertainty, the rock simply was.

How many beasts had found themselves on these shores? What had this world brought, and what more could it bring? The air was a confusing array of falsehoods and lost dreams. In centuries past, perhaps this fog had lifted to reveal an unspeakable beauty. For the moment, it was merely a land of ghosts, wandering within the mist.
Ghosts, and rocks.

When she took a step, her paw was placed upon the @Rock. Claws digging at it in a worrisome of sorts, a stress reliever as she looked upon this tiger. When she could see him moreso he continued with but a neutral look, and a vacant voice. In a wolf perhaps it would be rude, and yet would never dare so think of a tiger. He looked like one that was in a middle of a game, a prey of chase ; and she prayed it wasn't herself.

"My ford claims this place as a hunting ground." Vendrussel didn't have the incentive to tell him, or even others, where the Dragonford particularly lives. She wouldn't want.. A tiger visitor, coming so soon.

A few more places forward across the sand the tiger padded closer. The fog began to loose it's influence over her her form and her details became more apparent revealing a female wolf, toned with blues and silvers.

She stood there upon a @Rock that was quite unlike any other stone from the area. It was curious, how even stones turned to sand and where washed away. Yet this one persisted in the midst of the expansive beach and pounding waves.

Crinkling back his nose, in annoyance the tip of his fangs could be seen. Here was another wolf claiming more dirt as their own. The whole point of this little trip was to get away from similar problems he was having with his own wolves. "Ah... Well maybe you can tell me how one catches those fat swimming deer things?" asking about the seals, choosing to ignore her possible insinuation, playing it off like he didn't just learn all about how the claims of wolves worked.

Vendrussel had no thoughts to exert force upon the tiger, even though she claims such a beach.. Only fools would attempt to precide over land against something far bigger then themselves. If she had more wolves upon Dragonford, perhaps the risk could be there ; but even then, was it worth to fight a tiger over but a few pieces of prey? Especially some, that were difficult to even hunt alone.

But a tiger could.

"Those are seals. You try to catch them before they go into the water," when she looked upon them hanging by the coast, her tail flickered. She could see they were regular sea lions. They can be a great treat if a hunt was a group effort, or attempted to hunt their pups, "they have a strong bite. Some try to grab their necks.. Though their bellies are also weak."

Apparently she wasn't trying to ward him off of the very expansive beach. The woman went as far as to actually give some advice to the cat on how to best take the prey Kuhn was looking for. Nonetheless, her 'claim' didn't seem well hunted or protected. It was almost if she just got here.

The great cat licked his chops, thinking of making a kill. Shuffling his feet in the shallow surf, Kuhn mulled something over.

"Well... thank you for the hospitality. If I make a kill, I'll leave part of it back here for you and your kin." He stated, somewhat apprehensivly. But then, a strange idea floated across his mind. "Or, you can come and walk me through this, and we will...", He grited his teeth and strained the next word "...share."

He figured he would have better luck with an experienced guide.

She thought about it. Though while it was a rather intimidating moment for a tiger to not only talk to her, but offer a hunt. There was not many chances to do so, or even get that of an easy prey. With a moment of silence had passed, she nodded to such a suggestion. If surely he brought down while she lured the others away, it'd be an easy kill. Something that would need at least three wolves would only need but one tiger, and even she was not needed for a moment.

"It's easier to separate them and then go for the one that falls behind. I can stir them." As a wolf with but a mighty bark, it would spook away some of the sea lions.

The tiger was not only surprised he asked the question of her, but surprised that she actually said yes.  He had build up repour with the wolves in his region to the point where he was no longer universally feared and loathed as a beast.  Curiously, this woman would actually hunt with him right off the bat like this.  She didn't know that he wouldn't stoop to just eating her if the hunt went south.  She didn't know who he was, and agreed nonetheless.

A moment later, a small wash of anxiety hit him.  Nobody had ever even seen him hunt before, let alone hunting with someone else.  How does one even hunt together...  "Uhh... Ok, lead the way."

To respect what had prowess she could not, was perhaps why she remained so.. Calm, and neutral. He held without an attack of hostility, only the occasional annoyance to be sounded upon his voice and yet she could not read his face. Vendrussel nodded at him, and turned toward the flock of lion seals that laid waste to the land. If they were another species they would not run so easily, but as she gained a running start.. The woman let out a howl, and a series of barking at them.

The entire pod started to run, barking as they did so and entering the sea lion. Those closest to the ocean had dived in, and yet a few had lacked behind. She took notice of one in particular, his tail end had been sliced with but dry blood, as if the seal had troubles but an hour earlier. She howled and barked, a series of wolf-like noises as her paws turned toward the one that strayed behind, and looked back at Kuhn ; for this seal was the chosen one.

The woman really wasted no time. Immediately after his apprehensive agreement, she took off running down the beach without much warning.  The wolf was beaming her way towards the group of sea lions off in the distance.  To Kuhn, that looked far, but the wolf's endurance put that easily within her range.  He guessed he was supposed to follow. At first it was easy to keep pace with the wolf, but soon the cat's graceful bound became laborious; as his stride became more of an uncoordinated thundering of feet.

Without further apprehension the canine went straight in, causing absolute chaos, with barks and growls.  To the tiger it was hard to understand what she was doing, this strategy for hunting was so foreign to him.  Standing tensely on all fours the great cat was already panting as he observed her havoc.

Gathering himself, Kuhn rallied, pulling his tongue back into his mouth.  He began trotting, taking long strides towards the Chaotic scene.  It looked like she had picked a target, but she would need to cut it off for him to have a chance in hell to do his work.

She knew not to mock that of a tiger ; at least show it outwardly. Yet, when he didn't immediately go forth and attack the seal that lagged behind, she couldn't help but wonder.. If he was a less beastly of the tigers, more tame outwardly, and inwardly as well. She could imagine him jousting forward in feast toward the plump seal, and yet he stayed behind - a slow moving forward, expecting her to do it. She bit her tongue in that slight frustration. Remain calm.. Especially to one that could tear herself apart just as easily.

Quick movement did she turn against, forcing herself in front of the seal as it barked madly at her. A blockage for a moment, and a snapping ; but enough where the rest of the seal herd was further into the beach, if not all was within.

He would never normally hunt like this.  These wolves where crazy, harassing their prey at length in the open.  The tiger would much rather prefer one solid burst of energy, and then a speedy end to a hunt. Nonetheless, he continued to humor her as he made up the distance with a fast trot.  It looked as if she had caught on to this, buying him enough time to get within range of the blubbery target.

Kuhn's trot only after a few strides turned to a barreling sprint, propelling his heavy frame forward with impressive speed. As his large paws struck the sand, it created an audible thundering of feet. At speed, the cat leapt, then impact.  A thud of body on body, ferocious snarls, and pained cries, the tiger had played his role,  landing an attack to the nape of the neck.  The big cat's momentum was enough to tip the massive seal to its side, while staying latched on with claws and fangs.

Kuhn dug his powerful hind legs into the wet sand below, claws imbedded in the seals side.  He continued to work to keep the massive blubbery beast from finding its center again tugging backwards, while simultaneously adjusting the grip of his vice like jaws to find something more vital.

Wolves who were hunting of that of bigger prey only knew what best to do. To separate one from the herd and draw out, the more that there was, the more that they could bounce upon the one large beast, and bring it down. Except a few would cause but pinches, a draw back before a chase ; unlike that of a large feline, who could strike in a movement, and fight evenly.  As she managed to officially cover off the one seal, a bold move of blocking it in front of the others so it would not flee ; the tiger made his move.

She watched in a spectacle of fierce movements as Kuhn grabbed onto its back, a fury from the sea lion and a distraction.. As Vendrussel lunged for it's front neck during this squabble of prey and predator.

Feeling his fangs press deeper and deeper, the cat was elated.  The thrill of the hunt was a big part of what he lived for,  his thoughts ceased and was entirely lost in the moment.  At last he had found his mark, the feeling of fang on bone, meant he was close.  With ferocious growls the tiger violently thrashed to and fro, recruiting power form his hind legs and massive back to aide in the thrashing of his maw. Pressing his claws deeper for stability, he finally found it, that yielding crack.  The massive beast of the sea's desperate movements where replaced with a more melodic set of death throws, as its spinal column had now been severed.

Returning to his senses, the world around him seemed to come back into focus, although instinctually, the tiger remained clamped to his kill. As the cat's eyes scanned the scene, he noticed a large amount of blood, the seal had been bleeding profusely, its throat gashed open.  That must have been the doing of the lupine woman. He was eye to eye with her now, still clutching tightly to his mark.

Her mouth in a ruby-tongue as starlight chest was dipped from the endless bleeding that came from the seal. Drenched into a bloody path, she had lunged to it's throat and ripped with a ferocity while the feline kept at it's back, a pure distraction as she managed to rip it's throat. Though of course with such thick skin it had taken time to continual rip, knawing and grappling as it had to fight off both predators as they lunged for it's flesh.

Only finally, did it stop moving, and she panted lightly, a tongue lopping over the fresh droplets of blood. She looked over at Kuhn, a tail flickering, "what's your carving preference?'

Clarity was returning, and the thrill was wearing off, and now the hunger began. Lifting his muzzle from the wound at the back of the seal's neck, a string of saliva and blood followed.

The cat's nose instinctively began to wrinkle back, seeing that the woman was so close to the kill. With a bloodstained muzzle the tiger replied, "All of it..."

The comment was meant to be a half joke but, his tone was laden with the irritation he felt at having to share a kill. Further, he seemed to still possessively clutch the carcass with his claws.

Vendrussel didn't step further, her fur ruffling slightly at the appearance of the tiger ; though slight aggression was given, it wasn't a full off growl. A scrunched nose and a face of blood, she dare not to get any closer especially such a man who proved no laughter, said for all of it. For the safety of herself, she only looked at him in a moment of silence, a licking of her jaw as she calmed herself down, for if she did not provoke to beast - she was safe.

"All yours," even if the truth was far from so. She wasn't such a fool to try and fight that of a tiger with his prey.

The truth was the kill was not all his, and as much as it pained him he would have to share. It wasn't out of a sense of necessity, but he wouldn't trade his honor for a few more mouthfuls of flesh.

Pressing his claws deeper into the seal's hide, Kuhn looked away from the woman. Gritting his teeth and slightly growling before responding, "No... I'm sorry." Tearing his claws out of the hide, he stood up and looked away from the kill. "Help yourself... please"

Standing with his back turned to her his tail twitched in frustration. He tried to focus on something else but, the blood on his lips tempted him. The solitary cat wasn't used to eating with anyone else, and was now attempting to ease into it.
