Set right after this thread, made it the morning after to account for travelling time. Please let @Tiberius and Rei have a couple rounds first before Greymoor peeps join!

^^
They travelled all night to follow the bloody trail left behind by whatever, whoever had taken prey from their lands. As promised, Reiko remained glued to Tiberius' side, never leaving more than a foot or so away as they travelled. The Empress' senses were on high alert all night and even more so as they approached the foot of a familiar mountain where the trail lead up to.

Remembering her time in heat and travelling to find a home, this place was one of the stops. There were two men here she remembered, not too friendly and it made her heart thud wildly in her chest. Of course it was here it lead to, of all places. “I have been here before.” The words uttered softly only for Tiberius to hear. Seeking comfort she placed her own shoulder against him as cerulean eyes wandered the mountain side. “These mountains are claimed.” Even if it wasn't by many by the smell of it, those she did meet came off far more brutish than Reiko would have liked.

He would take no blame for the way he was tense. Tiberius was a man who was serious about his rank, his role and the way he did things and to have it so blatantly shit on -- it ignited a raging fire. He felt... snubbed, in a way, and he wasn't taking it well. Pair that alongside the fact he held precious cargo in his company -- his Alpha, his friend, a wolf he respected... who was, at the moment, sticking to his request of not veering too far away from him but Tiberius wasn't sure how long that was going to stick. Despite being a delicate beauty to look upon, she was certainly a rather independent woman who he didn't entirely trust to not bounce off. His ears stood to alert upon his head and his nose was continuously sniffing, ensuring he would not miss out on anything out of the ordinary but it was his eyes that were remaining sharp.

They roved with purpose, keen and unrelenting in their observation of the surrounding area. His Iceling spoke and Tiberius' ear cuffed to listen to her soft voice and his lips pulled at the edges; she had been here before. She looked for comfort, her shoulder coming to touch against him and instantly, as his nature demanded, he pressed against her in return and withheld from tucking her beneath his belly and keeping her there. No harm would come to the Iceling, not in his company. In others... well, he needed to shape them all up for them to be trusted with her. The mountains, she said, were claimed. Tiberius' fiery gaze narrowed as he hummed lowly, "you met them 'fore, Icelin'?" Tiberius rumbled as he curled his tail to touch against the base of her own.

If they had followed the trail to wolves as fucking annoying as the bitch of a cat, Tiberius was sure he going to have an awful goddamn time. "Ain't nothin' gonn' 'appen," he murmured as he flared his nose, inhaling deeply as he nudged Reiko to stop. "Tell me wha' ya know, Icelin'," Tiberius encouraged her though did not peer to her, instead he kept his gaze around them. He couldn't afford to look away for even one moment, not when they were in uncharted territory and he needed to stay alert. Though if Reiko had anything he needed to know, he would listen and they would go from there. The trail led them here and that didn't bode too well, it could be a cat of these lands similar to how they had Rainer -- if it were, that would be a problem and Tiberius would quite literally erupt because he wanted an army of cats, no one else was allowed his brilliant idea, gosh.

Though if the pussycat was not of a Pack and was territory hopping... then that was a different story altogether, wasn't it?

“Yes.” Her voice was quieter than its usual light and airy tones. Even with her leaning on Tiberius she didn't want to seem weak should the wolves of the mountain come down to greet them earlier than she was ready. But with Tiberius at her side, now leaning lightly on her in return to comfort her, it was easier to ignore the twisting feeling that wrecked havoc in her belly.

They would think of her as a joke, wouldn't they? Oblivious to her own heat to approach their land - wise to it now she had learned from the mistake, yet still. For these wolves to be the ones they would have to confront was concerning. Would they take her seriously now even with her guardian at her side? "Ain't nothin' gonn' 'appen," His words were like air filling her lungs, uplifting and reassuring.

“I know.” Thankful, she sought his gaze with her own to smile once more at him. I know little of them, last I saw there are two large men here at least. Both stern and colder than the ice we stand on. Before we found Tsukiishi, I was in heat as we travelled. I encountered one of them twice. Nothing came of it, he let me go with a warning, but that does not bring me much comfort.

Had her impression of these wolves been positive, she would have been full of her usual amount of life. Instead, the woman was more reserved, quiet and though he could put it down to their adventure being more of a mission and she was doing as he requested and making herself less of a target -- he knew it wasn't just down to that. She had not have good memories attached to this place, he thought. As her gaze sought his own from his periphery, he took his fire blazing gaze from the surrouding area to bestow it upon her with a twitch of his own lips. She did not doubt him, instead she said that she knew, she knew he'd not let anything happen. He dipped his head to her, nudging her with his blackened nose before looking back to the area.

It was her latter explanation of how she knew these lands that had him stilling his motions and he looked to her, expression dark. They made her uncomfortable, they had encountered her during her heat and had warned her? From behind his teeth his tongue slithered, rolling over his marred lips and darkened nose as he rolled his shoulders. "I see," he rumbled. He was -- well, Tiberius could feel his anger start to bubble beneath the surface and behind him, his tail flicked in aggitation. "They bettah find themselves kinder this time round," Tiberius grunted, "I'd do more than fuckin' warn them," he stated firmly, though he supposed of all the ways her encounter could have ended, that was one of the better ones. He exhaled deeply through his nose, trying to diffuse his annoyance as he eyed her, "ya reckon they tha types ta take up wit' a reckless feline?" Tiberius grumbled, looking to put his temper into something else.^^

With his reassurance, the touch of his muzzle against hers - Reiko gladly accepted it by brushing against his with her own. Every little bit of comfort offered would help to ease the drumming in her chest as still she sat waiting for the nerves to settle before calling the mountain wolves to discuss this matter of hunting on claimed lands. It had to go well, it absolutely had to. They were too close for Shiroshika to already have an enemy.

Tiberius was more certain of himself than she was of herself. Prepared to defend which made him the perfect choice for this mission of theirs. She would be velvet while he would be her iron. In this moment they were the perfect combination. “I am not certain... this is why we are here, to find out, is it not?” A nervous laugh escaped her lips.

With nothing much else to add, she gave Tiberius the sign that they can call for an audience now and he too can join in on her chorus. They were together in this after all, a unit of one to deal with the ordeal that found itself at their doorstep. Without Tiberius she would have turned away and returned home by now seeing where the trail had led to.

The call drew his attention, pulling the pale raven-talker from his silent reverie atop the forested mountain. The voice that hailed to he and Solpallur was unfamiliar, feminine even. Another voice twined in with it as well, just as unknown. Two, then, and however many did not raise their voice. An ear flickered, tongue sweeping out across his muzzle before he tipped his gold-created head back and responded.

We are coming.

Solpallur would no doubt attend at his side but Stjornuati sought his fire sister as well, calling out to @Valmúa to seek her presence as well. She had done much for the brothers as of recent and had displayed a more level head than he had seen in her before; perhaps she would assist them in whatever this was to be as well.

Eventually, the northerner picked his way down the mountain, @Synin flying above him in lazy, lofty circles. The closer he ventured to the pair, the more a distant memory tickled at his mind. A naive woman, who did not know of her own heat, who wrought temptation and turmoil with her ignorance. He had been quite pleased that not even Rokkvi had given into such callings, though was curious to see what she wanted now.

Slowly, the man of golds and creams drew to a halt before them, maroon eyes observant in the silence that yawned across the gap. Ears thrust forward, Stjornuati waited. For his brother. For his sister. For one of them to speak.

Silently like the shadow to his brother that he was, Solpallur was never far behind Stjornuati. It was a surprise that someone would reach their borders and care enough to summon them, but what was more of a surprise to the suneater was a familiar face. His gaze narrowed, not in suspicion or otherwise ill intent, but something of a warped curiosity.

It had not been all that long ago that he had crossed paths with the silver-chested wolf; Solpallur had not forgotten him, nor the scent of pack that had clung to him. A snout’s length away from his brother and with Valmua yet to join them, he leaned in to speak lowly to his brother’s ear. His gaze did not leave Tiberius.

Maðurinn hefur verið hér áður. Ég fann hann ráfa nálægt landamærunum okkar.

The call was too early, too annoying. But it was rarely that the fire sister was called, and so she rose with a stretch from her sleep beneath the trees of Hrafnsvaktin. Through the forest's rich boughs she moved to answer what surely would bring her brothers first and her secondary. Always it had been this way. The voice itself at the borders was one she did not recognize. After Stjörnuáti, she responded in kind almost simultaneously. The end of his call and the onset of hers overlapped, and the moment felt good, for it had been some time since they had rallied from afar.
On arrival, she moved in just to hear the tail end of Solpallur's babble, which meant nothing to her. She snapped her teeth in idle displeasure, and moved forward a few steps without bothering in pre-idle chatter.
“We are af Hrafnsvaktin, what business have you, white one?” It was intentional that she addressed the woman over the man, for she had given the call to the siblings. One ear rotated toward her brothers, whom she expected to join her side.

She was nervous and rightly so; to a degree. With him here, she would have little to worry over. If things went bad, he would seek to fend them off and give her time to run. Reiko's body was not buit for the fight like him but she was slender, little and agile - she could run a fair distance in a short amount of time, he'd wager. Tiberius' tongue flopped from his mouth and ran over his lips as he nodded to her words though none fell from his own lips; instead he remained focused on the area. She called and they came, one after the other and Tiberius rolled his shoulders as he kept himself at her side like a silent shadow. He woud watch, he would listen and if he needed to; he would bleed.

His golden gaze observed the first to arrive, a man of gold and cream with what seemed to be a bird following in the sky; coincendence he did not know but if it were the mans then Tiberius would keep an eye on that too. Tiberius took in his scent, committing it to memory as he did the mans features. Know thy enemy and know thy friend and though yet he did not know which one he was, he would do it all the same. He automatically wanted to dislike them for the way these wolves had cast negative emotions upon the Iceling yet he was trying to do as Reiko said and act on the side of... diplomacy. Disgusting, really, but he said he would try just as she said she would stick to his side during this mission.

The man did not talk and so neither did Tiberius, he would leave the talking to Reiko unless addressed or if he needed to warn the bastards. The next was a shadow he found familiar, his trip to the mountain coursing through his mind and likewise, his golden gaze did not leave the shadow. A different tongue left his mouth and it was not the russian nor romanian that he was used to from the Cranes but he had a feeling with the way Solpallur was looking at him, it was something to do with him. Tiberius nodded, an acknowledgement of the green eyed man. Tiberius found that he often disliked women, more often than not the women he came across were bitches and it seemed that this average woman was no different. He was not overly careful of manners but she could have addressed him, huh? She addressed Reiko by cliche standards and he found himself unsurprised. Would these really be their neighbours?

He wanted to roll his eyes and snort, a feeling of these creatures felt nothing like how Shiroshika worked. If anything, they felt more... Dominion like and that worried him. Reiko was a woman of open-mind, warm heart and positivity, her brain was incredibly intelligent but he gathered she wished to believe the best in wolves first and foremost. That... was not always the best way to think, especially not with wolves that felt more like they were Tiberius than they were Reiko. He watched still, his standing to attention and never did he remove himself from Reiko's side.

One by one they fell in, coming from the mountain as both men were silent - only one familiar to her as she tried not to let her eyes linger on him. Though nervous, the young mother tried her best to breathe steadily and level her nerves. Even as the dark one spoke with a language unfamiliar to her, the last to arrive, a woman, at least addressed them finally to open the floor for conversation.

“Greetings, we are from Shiroshika, we claim a mountain not far from here what we have named Tsukiishi.” Not stating her rank just yet, she chose to keep such titles away for now as they spoke as equals regardless of whatever rank anyone held here. “We followed a trail from our home to here, someone has hunted on our land and brought it to you recently. We wish to speak of this matter.”

Preferably she didn't come off accusatory, simply stating the facts of what they found and where the trail had lead them to. Keeping everything rather objective as opposed to pointing fingers at them. There was no telling how friendly these wolves were, how open they were to being diplomatic and talking about what most packs would consider an unacceptable act.

“The trail smelled of feline, but it comes through this mountain.”

His siblings were quick to come to his side, as he knew they would be. While they all roamed far and wide, today seemed to keep the three close together. Was it fate? Coincidence? Stjörnuáti had not quite decided as he looked upon t he mismatched pair; dark and light, small and large, warrior and... something. The man looked to the pale woman frequently, leading the stareater to believe that she was in charge between the two. This was confirmed further when Valmúa demanded their reason for showing up at the base of Morðfjall and asking their presence.

Pale paws carried him forward as the snowy girl spoke, drawing him even with his fireborn sister, Solpallur the same on his other side. Ears and eyes focused on the small woman, he drank in the information she so willingly delivered; Shiroshika, Tsukiishi, their hunting lands poached from, by none other than a cat, it seemed. Interesting, to say the least, moreso when he thought back to the scene of Valmúa and the striped demon sharing a meal at these borders.

It was he who spoke first this time, voice slipping from parted jaws as he responded.

Kveðja. We three are of Hrafnsvaktin. The mountain you stand in shadow of is Morðfjall. The last time this one laid eyes upon you, snjókona, we did not share names. Stjörnuáti,” He offered his first, then indicated his brother and sister in turn. “Solpallur, Valmúa.”

“The cat you speak of has been seen with its kill.” An ear flicked as his eyes moved to the man at her side, then back. “There was no knowledge of its theft from your mountain.” He wondered if the hellcat had known, wondered if it had intended such tensions, and wondered further if such creatures were truly that intelligible. It had spoken at length with Valmúa, inclining him to believe they were. “You are concerned.” It might have been an obvious statement but he wanted the cards lain plainly on the table. Hvers vegna? Why?”

His brother and sister, far more versed in the common tongue than he had the natural lead here. The best Solpallur could do was listen and observe, which worked well enough for him to determine if they were truly there on good terms or not.

Though he did not fear the threat of subterfuge of any sort—the first of the others to speak was the female, who did not seem of the kind to play such a game. He noted the concern in her voice as much as he acknowledged the firmness that came with some sort of authority; she was either someone in charge or at the very least a convincing emissary. Perhaps she were both, masquerading along on a mission, and hopefully one that did not compose itself of only ill-tidings.

And the other that was with her, the one that he recognized, well… Solpallur was more than certain he was some sort of guardian. With a turned ear at his own name as his brother went through introductions, he managed to still his tongue for a better translation as to why they were there. Feline was definitely a word he knew, and knowing that striped something or other had been lurking around… he ventured a guess that it had to do with that.

His gaze shifted towards his brother, rumbling a short line.

They were as one for the moment, her siblings and she. The woman before them spoke with a regal tone, as though she was an empress despite her pitiful stature. It seemed clear that she had brought the companion as a guard.
The white Lady of Skooshi (?) expressed concern that something had hunted and then moved through their mountain. Valmúa almost snorted, hiding it instead by licking the side of her mouth. She recalled Lord @Kuhn dragging an impressive caribou up the slopes of their mountain, dropping it to them (her) as a gift in return for her own. The suncat surely had no concept of their mountain being "theirs", for cats lived by their own weird laws.
Stjörnuáti apparently knew the woman, or had at least seen her before. The fire sister let him do the talking as she half-whispered to Solpallur. Hann gaf mér eina af karibou þeirra, she said, as straight-faced as possible. “Is it problem?” She asked the woman, already knowing the answer.

Tiberius didn't like it, he didn't know why he didn't like it but he didn't and that's all he could think about. Reiko had left a sour taste in her mouth when she'd told him of her experience here previously and he couldn't help but wonder which one it was that had intimidated her so -- and he'd need not wait long to find out. The golden one spoke and made it clear that it had been him. Tiberius had then decided he wanted him dead, dead and strewn across his own fucking mountain but he knew he couldn't, that this was a trip of diplomacy, no matter how much it disgusted him. So he stood there, at her side, stoic and watching with a fiery gaze.

He filed their names away and was unsurprised to learn the annoying looking woman had an annoying name -- they all did, really, but he especially didn't like the attitude of the creamy necked woman. Would it matter to him, had he known that the food had been an act of theft, of disrespect? Was it their pet cat? Where Reiko held the tongue if diplomacy, of keeping her words as unaccusatory as possible, Tiberius wanted to just ask: was it theirs?

If it were, they would need to keep a tighter fucking hold of it, unless they wanted to use their little pets skin as den decor. Is it a problem? Fuck, she was -- Tiberius swallowed down his annoyance at the woman because he knew quite obviously she was being almost mocking then with the question because it was quite obviously, plainly a problem. You'd have to be fucken stupid to think otherwise but then hey, the little cretin may be that stupid. Tiberius wouldn't be shocked to think otherwise.

Still, he remained tightlipped as he allowed the Iceling to continue to converse with them. Unless she addressed them or one of the wolves did directly, he stood there like her shadow and kept his eyes and ears open. The man with shadows for fur and eyes as green as a forest still garnered some of his attention, his fiery depths flickering to him every so often.^^

No, they hadn't shared their names - there was no time to nor did it feel like the right time when they had met last. Even now as she thought back to their previous meetings she felt nervous. He wasn't cruel, but the man and his kind were less than welcoming - not very kind either with their harsh words and expressions. It was like she was born in the gentle snowfall - while they were in the blizzard. Two sides of winter as they stood on either side of this meeting.

“I am Reiko and this is Tiberius.” As he introduced them she would do the same. From where she stood she would feel Tiberius' own nerves sharpening, the tones given and words - questions, didn't come off as threatening but they weren't quite respectful either. Even Reiko could feel that. Why were they concerned should have been obvious enough. Surely they knew it was indeed a problem and that is why they were here, otherwise they would not have bothered with the trip here to speak with them.

“If the roles were reversed, would it be a problem then? We cannot have someone hunt on our lands and share it with a neighbouring pack I am certain you would agree with that.” She paused, hoping they would put themselves in their footsteps for a moment to sympathize with their situation and appreciate the diplomatic approach - as not many packs would. “We do not wish to harm anyone and so we ask if you are allied with the feline, to inform them of this as the prey was taken here after all.”

The man remained yet silent and while he offered no additional words to the conversation, Stjornuati was not foolish enough to write him off. Every so often, maroon eyes flicked to him, watching, waiting for him to make some sort of move. While this Tiberius hadn't done anything save stand there, the gilded male knew that he could be a threat, if it came down to it; thus, his attention lingered upon him as his siblings spoke, an ear switching backwards to catch their words, though a sidelong glance given to his fireborn sister as she asked a rather obvious question.

So he would be the diplomat here, it seemed.

“Well met,” He would offer, at their names, the slightest dip of his head occurring despite the tension that sang so thickly in the air. “This one agrees, yes.” He let that response sit upon the slopes of the mountain for a moment before he continued, choosing his own words carefully. “There is no trustbond with the hellcat, save for with Valmua, a leader here alongside this one and this one's brother. Had this one known the kill was stolen, the cat would have been driven off.” All the while, he became more suspicious than ever of the feline's intentions.

“It will be informed but ábyrgðir, how you say...” He glanced to Valmua, knowing she spoke the tongue the best of all of them. “Guarantees? cannot be made with such a creature. Know that should it happen again, the cat will be driven away from the mountain.”

“And you took it? Foolish,” he ground out to his sister. He could have remarked more, but even Solpallur knew his words would fall on deaf ears. Whatever association that Valmua had with the feline he didn’t quite understand, yet even he knew there may have been benefits to it. Perhaps not necessarily by way of food, but of their safety. The hellcat was strong enough to take one of them out with a fair swipe, if he had so chosen.

He fell silent, watching, listening; his brother was much more verbose to these strangers, their neighbors, though Solpallur had yet to exactly pinpoint where it was that they had come from. Eastward, no doubts there, but the distance was questionable. Close enough to make the trip worthwhile, and close enough to fall within the striped feline’s wandering range.

His gaze travelled between the pair, this time lingering on the female.

“She’s a pretty one,” he said to his brother.

To be honest, if the sun cat had been hunting on their lands, she would likely have done nothing unless it was warranted. But Valmúa was not her brothers, and she knew well that they had differing opinions about what to spend time and energy on. While Reiko's dark guardian eyeballed them critically, she herself spoke something of sense.
At first, the fire woman felt almost annoyed that her pale brother was outing her at responsible for Lord Kuhn's behaviour. However, he slid in the tidbit that she was "a leader here," and at this she stayed her viper's tongue and allowed Stjor to say what the tiny empress wanted to hear. He probably knew that the sister would not have run the cat off, regardless of where the kill had come from. An eye for an eye, Valmúa recalled of Kuhn. He was not an animal to be trifled with, and this Reiko and her Tiberius would do well to respect his will.
Leggðu typpið frá þér, skíthæll, she whispered fiercely at Solpallur, redirecting the annoyance she felt over this idiotic woman's idea of rightful territory. “Cats will do as they do; they seldom abide by our rules, fair one,” she answered. She wondered how many they were on their sad mountain. Did they have nothing better to do than come out here and whine about one little caribou? Engar ábyrgðir.

He had practiced patience. He had to, when he had been born where he had, when he had found Lana and opted to be her guardian even as a boy himself, he had to when dealing with Cranes and ultimately, he had to when it came to Shiroshika -- he couldn't exactly go painting their glistening white snow in crimson all the time, could he? So Tiberius knew patience yet... he found it waning the longer he was in the company of the irritating bunch. That was slightly unfair, for the two men weren't particularly poking at Tiberius' fury, it was the cream necked cretin that he found especially annoying. Reiko introduced them, Tiberius dipping his head an inch when he had been introduced but aside from that, he made no move to address them.

He was not the diplomat. Should he talk now, he knew exactly how he would sound and he had given Reiko his word on trying it her way first, so... Tiberius remained tight lipped. For a man who knew their leader, Tiberius could read her. He knew that she too was perhaps exasperated with the trio, for their nature and their way clearly -- he's looking at u Valmúa - not amicable to their own kind, instead favouring that of a feline. He knew their type, he had seen their type, been their type, even still... sometimes was their type but he had grown, evolved one might say, to thinking of much more than their sole survival. He would like neighbouring Packs to thrive, so long as they did not interfere with Shiroshika business.

Reiko asked them to tell the feline -- if they were on friendly terms -- to kindly fuck off and eat from someone elses territory. Perhaps theirs if they liked the striped fiend so much. Upon learning that it was the cretin mainly at fault for encouraging the feline, his fiery gaze cut to her sharply. Why was he not surprised? She opted for pretty, placating words, spinning a tale of how the feline answered to no one and alluding to the idea that it was best kept that way. Perhaps he should feed her to feline and see how she kept those pretty, empty words then, Tiberius thought cruelly.

Survival did not become successful if they had a fucking pest poaching their prey and even more, it would not bode well for these other mountain dwellers if they continued to... probably feed on the stolen meat, or watch as it got demolished. Placating words were all that he heard, telling them that the cat would be driven off if he were to show again and Tiberius wanted to roll his eyes. They cared nothing for anyone else, how bitterly he was reminded of his birth family. That much was obvious by the way the woman had first acted, is it problem? Knowing full well that it was. The two men, he supposed he held little issue with -- if only for their desire to end the conversation didn't seem so bland. Tiberius eyed Reiko, wondering if she would be sated with their covering words. She'd not look to escalate it, that much he knew, but should she want to forge an alliance with them... Tiberius supposed he would be here, slumming it with mountain trash, that much longer. ^^

For a moment she believed there was some understanding between her and the leaders of this mountain's pack. The pale man spoke and she nodded along slowly, but happily that they could see things eye to eye after all. Her worries quickly fading away as her heart slowed its fractious pace. Perhaps they could get along after all. Perhaps they wouldn't be such terrible neighbours to have.

Although the dark male continuously said things that she didn't understood - at least he wasn't addressing her directly and thinking she could reply or understand him in any way, so she was thankful to have the other two here to translate in a sense or at least mediate between him and her.

As she was about to say her thank yous to the pale man - the woman spoke up; and clearly she would be the least understanding of the bunch. Shocking to a certain point given how she had met Stjörnuáti first and had a bad feeling about him before they began to speak. Now, it was the woman who she was not very fond of as she spoke in such a derisive manner that was almost insulting.

With pale brows furrowing, she spoke gently but with an underlying stern tone to it. “I am aware - however having it hunt on our lands to bring it here is concerning. We ask if you are in alliance with this feline, to ensure it no longer hunts our prey for your wolves. There are many other places it can hunt to share with your kin.” It honestly felt like she was repeating herself at this point. Tossing her gaze back over to the more, shockingly, understanding male, lips curled lightly as her features soften again. “I thank you for your understanding.”

Valmua

His eyes narrowed as his littermate spoke the common tongue, lip curling in obvious distaste for her words and methods. A quick movement was made then, turning to clip and bare his teeth at her. “Do you know when to keep your mouth shut?” He rumbled, almost regretting announcing the fire poppy as one of their leaders. He knew this was only a momentary feeling. For all her connivery, all her irritating ways, Valmua was a loyal creature, or was in Stjornuati's eyes. Eventually, he would find out if his faith in her was well placed.

Huffing a clouded blast of air at her, Stjornuati laid his ears back for a moment before righting his posture and returning his attention to the snowy woman. “Forgive this one's systir. Her tongue is crude.” Hackles settling, Stjornuati paused here, carefully selecting his words as they tread into tense, unsure territory.

“It is as Valmua says. The hellcat is not one to bend to us, or any wolf, vikingr or no. It is as this one spoke. There was no knowledge of the hellcat's...” He searched for the words, but failed after a moment. “Not theft,” He said, aware they might think he was repeating himself. “The cat did as the cat decided. It will be asked for stopping, but this one cannot promise. Only try.” With his mounting irritation, the stareater's grasp upon the tongue they shared was slipping, only serving to bother him more.

An amused snort left him at Stjornauti’s snippy words to their sister, though Solpallur knew the answer to that question. It was a no. Valmua would sooner speak her mind than keep her mouth shut, and that was something that he had known from the very beginning of his own time. The day that changed, it would be because something great would have rattled her to her core and not even the suneater knew just what that would be.

It wouldn’t happen today, at any rate.

And once again, he was lost in the wave of dialogue, catching nothing more than snippets between parties in the exchange of that dreadful tongue. He didn’t know what exactly to do about the feline, nor did he know the full extent of the relationship between it, themselves, and anyone else. He suspected it only did as it pleased—again, like his sister—and trying to stop it would have been quite similar to trying to stop the rain by holding hands in the air to catch it.

That cat could have taken them all out with just a few swipes.

His gaze once more meandered about their company; watching, listening.

It was obvious they did not like what she had to say. The dark, towering male in particular seemed particularly angry with her given the fierceness of his stare. She ignored it, though inwardly felt delighted at such displeasure pointed her way. What will you do, Mr. Bodyguard? She thought nastily, watching Reiko's face instead and feigning disinterest.
Her pallid brother snapped at her, which she only responded with by a light curl of one lip. Solpallur was right. She spoke when and what she felt like — Stjörnuáti believed her to be leader material, but she would not simply change on a whim to whatever he wanted her to be. She poked his neck pseudo-affectionately, her only way of saying, you know you love me.
Hellcat. There was no knowledge. It will be asked. Only now did the sister hold her tongue. She was the only one with rapport with the suncat, so she supposed that she was also the one expected to request this of him.
If her brothers knew her well at all, they knew she would not do such a thing. She nodded, agreeing on the surface with her brother, while her mind spun to find ways to use the displeasure of their mountain rivals to her advantage.

At least the men seemed to be displeased with the female's declaration. The thought of her being treated as lesser-than, or daft for asking to respect borders was irritating, but it was nothing that would linger at the front of her brain for long. Of course felines were not aware of the way that canines worked, but this was much better for all than to immediately treat the mountain wolves and the feline like enemies.

“It is much appreciated.” She followed as the pale man spoke with broken common tongue - no promises but at least they were aware of the growing tension brought on by another of a different species. Perhaps they could move on from this after all without needing to go Tiberius' route.

With a nudge on her guardian's shoulder, the little woman requested his attention. “Thank you for listening, it has been a pleasure, we will be on our way now.” With a respectful dip of her head, cerulean eyes found their way to Tiberius for them to walk away now, back home. Lingering only long enough should the trio have something to add.

Away from Morðfjall

Once they were nearly home, the little woman remained in silence as she pondered the meeting. Thinking over possibilities and what to do next should the feline return. “If possible, please alert the other guardians on what to look out for.” The silence finally broke. Blue eyes facing forward, deep in thought as to what she had come to a decision to. “If possible, I request for the feline to be detained if found hunting on our lands again. I wish to speak with it.” Of course such a task would not be easy. “Only if it can be done safely... Otherwise, I leave its fate up to you.”

Out of them all, Tiberius could manage the cream man. Also Solpallur, so maybe it was just the creamy-necked gremlin he couldn't stand. Either way, he was growing tired of this interaction. He had hoped that this would be a chance at having good neighbours, one that could, with Reiko's decision, lead to an alliance upon fellow mountain dwellers. Though Tiberius thought that without the cat situation being diffused and sorted, that there was a limited chance of that.

Still, he didn't hate the two brothers. It was just unfortunate that they hadn't eaten the gremlin in the womb, he thought dryly. He remained the silent guardian as Reiko returned words with the cream man, the one Tiberius thought should be the sole leader. Valmua held little leadership qualities that Tiberius would say would help them thrive, but perhaps that was his own biased to not liking her. But really, he reasoned, she wasn't exactly... he just thought she'd end up being someones meal.

His, preferably.

Tiberius honed back into the conversation when Reiko nudged his shoulder and signalled their leave. He took his Empress' desires and followed through, ensuring he kept himself between Reiko and the trio as they retreated. Before he turned to leave, he dipped his head with a glance to the two men and spared not one for the woman. He was in a mood and though he chose not to wear it on his features, he felt it vibrate through his bones.

He was silent until Reiko broke it, his golden gaze drifting to her as his ear twitched to listen. "'Course, Iceling," he rumbled his agreement to dispersing the information. Though at her latter words, the man tried not to wonder on the trust she had just given him by if all failed, she would leave the cats fate to him. "Is gonna be alrigh', Iceling," Tiberius murmured as he leaned down to nudge the tip of her hear with his nose.

He would do what he needed for Reiko and for Shiroshika.
