In My Time of Dying

^^Harper stared at her little deer son in awe as she watched him become excited. He was the literal cutest thing and Harper just wanted to smother him with all the affection and love she had to give. One day, she would; she knew she would. She was already loving the relationship and closeness they seemed to share and hoped it wasn’t one sided. It didn’t seem one sided, at least.

Her eyes narrowed, though; head tilting to the side. If she’d been human, a hand would have surely been stroking her chin as Harper was suddenly deep in thought. And then it occurred to her that they could teach each other things! “I promise, under one coin-dish-on..? Condition! ” Harper blinked, nodding as she corrected herself. English was a funny language. “I teach yous Russian and Fight… and you teach me about you.”

 The woman said she promised to teach him... but there was a condition? He blinked and nodded his head, ready for anything that she would throw out.

 But it turned out not to be so serious.

 "Deal." The little fawn said as he reclined into her side to rest. "Thank-you." He was happy that he'd run across her and gained a wonderful new mother.
