The sun was slowly but surely falling from the sky and Stjornuati picked his way across the terrain, following the scent of his brother. Though he usually left his pale, stone-faced brother to his own devices, the paler of the leading duo had much to share. Not only that, but the pack was growing steadily and, with a true Vala In their midst, there was a readiness in the air. Perhaps it was time for the first naming ritual of the mountain.
“Brother,” He would call out in their native tongue, voice echoing a touch in the cold mountain air, its chill creeping into his lungs when he breathed. “I thought I might find you here.” A wry grin, a gentle jab at his littermate. They had never been terribly close, perhaps because he had bonded with Solpallur so quickly, but slowly, he and Rokkvi were becoming closer. He liked to think so, at least.
