Against what would have been better judgement, his new Queen hadn't been allowed much time for rest. In this place, they were stranded. One wrong move and they could find themselves buried alive beneath crumbling ruins. There was much ground for them to cover, and in her condition, he worried @Nesta may slow them down. He'd given her a good, much deserved, beating. But he had faith that her newfound obedience may wither away any future hindrance. Or maybe it was only wishful thinking.
A silent, brooding shadow, he walked close, flanking the small woman. Acting as a shield for any potential debris that may scatter from the fallen towers of stone, but also as a watchful warden in case she got any bright ideas. She knew by now that running wasn't smart. But he knew desperation like an old friend. If she thought it viable, she may try it. And he would take no chances.
