It was strange to dream of this place again. Ries rarely remembered his dreams, never truly experienced them, and certainly not so vividly. He stirred into wakefulness in this world that felt all-too real, birdsong above his head and the sun warm on his back. It wasn't a bad place, by any means, but it was definitely weird. Ries wasn't sure what to make of it.

He began to walk, unsure of what else to do. Was there something he was supposed to do here? Something he was meant to figure out?

It was not long before he stumbled across someone else, monochromatic fur standing out like a beacon among the earthy tones surrounding them. A striking man, very large in height and muscular to boot. Ries felt his face warm immediately as he approached, tail swinging easily behind him, hoping to convey friendliness even in this dream.

"Hi, there," he said, and then, just because this was a dream and there was no one to make fun of him if he sounded weird: "Have you been here before?"
