Uriel was very scared over many different situations, people and things, but just as quickly as she was scared, she could get over.. For somethings, her fear of the man in red and the tiger of the north would remain, but the sky she once looked in fear had swept away. There was a day the sky ruptured, the stars danced and roared and she thought it was the end of all times, but a lovely woman assured her and comforted — and in the end, nothing happened. They remained in the sky, and she remained bounded to the ground.

Since then though, those beings never appeared again. The sky remained serene as a painting, just as it was now, hanging high in the sky alongside a cresent moon. Uriel found herself tracing to the highest hills, where the endless breeze drifted through her fur. The heat of the summer would always bring exhaustion, but the foothills gave a comfort that she never was sure came from, for where else did not have the wind — there was sanctuary here.

And on this night, she laid on the highest hill.. Gray eyes glittering to the view above, and thinking silently to herself.

Aika had always had a passion for exploring, no doubt, and even she'd shocked herself; only shortly after she'd found Izumi, they'd departed, which really stood out to the – she'd like to think "young" – inken princess. Her paws seemed to take her wherever they pleased, as she didn't have the stability or resources to have a proper schedule right now; she'd hope to be able to have a proper "home" soon, as she greatly disliked this... wandering.

Coming along the roundest of round hills she'd ever seen before, though, was quite nice. It was unique, different, to the wisteria forests she was used to. It was nice, and while the moon hung over the sky, the grass glowed with a silvery sheen as the stars danced and twinkled. It really was a beautiful sight, and Aika found herself gawking at the area. Though, one thing stood out; A woman dressed in marigold and daisy, sun and moon, gold and white. A beautiful lady, may the princess say, and she approached the lonely woman, giving a small wuff in greeting as to not surprise her once Aika was behind.

“やあ、” She greeted with a dip of her head, a small smile on her features. It was late, and the lady was growing tired. Though, she had to precisely chose when she slept. Usually, by the time the sun began to crawl from the horizon was when Aika slept, though, somehow, her face remained plump and lively, as if she were in her prime.

Now that she thought about it, the prince wasn't completely sure whether or not this stranger spoke her mother tongue, so with a sigh, Aika cleared her throat, tilting her head upwards as she began to speak in common. “Or does this work better for you?” Unbeknownst to her, the lady could often sound quite rude in common, as she wasn't well-trained in it. Quite unfortunate, considering all she wanted was the best for everyone... Her face fell flat as she spoke, crown propped upwards in a way that could seem condescending.

The lady thought she was being noble – as she was so closely related to royalty, and she'd been raised to be prim and proper – but in actuality, it looked a bit like she was being snooty! Poor girl.. she has no idea about who she could piss off, and what consequences might come to play . . .

The moon graced the land in a light. So gentle though for the moon was barely at it's fullest. When the clouds moved to cover, she could still see it lightly graze and shine before, letting nothing block it's beauty. The stars would twinkle and dance, just as they were in a serenity together — she couldn't help but wonder that one night when the stars moved. She could the ursa, the constellation of myths high in the sky, and the thought of one day... Would it move too?

But with such a light, she could see it grace lightly to another figure that even in the night, could make out their appearance. Siamesed in a tall grace, white as the snow and splashed with black of the darkest lillies. Though their gaze was a striking blue.. But a language came up, Uriel didn't know that and smiled apologetically, "I'm afraid I only know one language," she admitted.

"I'm afraid I only know one language," The woman said, and Aika nodded. It seemed she'd be using common-tongue today, which was fine . . . she supposed . . . The lady had to practice, anyway. “Alright,” She said calmly, dipping her head as she came to sit on the opposite side of the stranger. “I'm Aika. You?”

A simple question to hopefully get the ball rolling. Wondering if Izumi had struggled with common tongue when she'd first arrived here, Aika's vision went blurry; lost in thought. Within a few moments, though, she forcibly moved her attention back to the stranger in front of her, ears perked as she awaited her words.

In the meantime, though, the moon caught her main attention. “月は美しいです。 . .” She whispered to herself, eyes glittering in the sight of the moon. “Isn't it? –” Right, no, she wouldn't of been able to understand her previous words. “The moon is beautiful, don't you think?”

She held a strong tongue, words of an unfamiliar language and a light accent that followed, but at the very least she knew one of common tongue, "I am Uriel, nice to meet you," the golden dame said, dipping her head in a polite greeting, before glancing at the sky, and back at them. Some part of them reminded her of the moon itself, for their snow-white fur blended well with the moonlight, and the black that was the night sky itself.. They were pretty.

It made her feel lightly self-conscious, and she nodded in an agreement a bit shyly, facing full-attention back to the sky itself. She did not mind the switching of languages, for knowing more then one was surely difficult and impressive. Uriel didn't know any other, and admired that.

Tonight the moon was large, but did not show it's true grace. The world wasn't within an absolute light by the crescent view, but such shine made it all the more brilliant. It lightly grazed to the clouds and made them more noticeable then ever, and matched the stars as well. They twinkled lightly.. As she fell into silence, struggling to continue any conversation.

I just wanna say- THIS!!

"I am Uriel, nice to meet you," The sun-draped woman said, and Aika did nothing but nod in acknowledgement, just as Uriel did to her statement about the moon. The lady smiled, neither speaking, yet both admiring the shining moon that held itself in the sky, above the both of them; above any other wolf who may be watching it as well. Now that she thought about it . . . Uriel looked quite opposite to the moon, unlike Aika. The marigold woman was dressed in tones of yellow and orange and cream, gorgeous combinations littering her pelt in a way that made Aika envious.

It took a while for Aika to realise that she was, in fact, starring, but she couldn't help but murmur a quick– “かわいい . . .” Before turning her head away, hoping to avoid the woman's gaze. She was a stunner, easily, and the wisteria-drawn lady pictured herself to be bland; Nothing but black and white... A bore against the radiance of the sun, who simply outshone her for miles..! Unable to hold the words in any longer, the girl decorated her face with a – hopefully casual – smile and parted her maw; “Your pelt is really pretty,” she hummed, as if it were the most normal thing to say ever. “Like the sun on a summer afternoon...”

And then, unbeknownst on how to end a conversation like that, Aika quickly turned away, face flushing hot with embarrassment. “私は申し訳ありません–それは奇妙だった、私はそれを言った理由がわからない–” She murmured hurriedly, shaking her head and screwing her eyes shut, until she remebered; "I'm afraid I only know one language." With a sigh, the woman chuckled. “Um, sorry–”

If wolves could blush, surely her cheeks would be cherry-red in embarrassment. Her ears flickered lightly shyly, both finding themselves unable to look at each other as it seemed they both were equally thinking of similarity, how the other was pretty.. But Uriel didn't have the courage just yet to vocalize it, and was surely not expecting someone else to. Although she has admittingly been complimented a few times, it was never easy to recieve them, especially when felt undeserving.

"T-Thank you," she stuttered, thinking 'oh gosh, I look silly,' and feel silly, "you are quite pretty too.. Like the moon in the night sky."

Everything felt awkward she forgot about the sky, despite a small shooting star going right past them.

The girl stuttered a 'thank you', and Aika hung her head low in embarrassment, ears perking as Uriel said something that she had not come to expect; "You are quite pretty too.. Like the moon in the night sky." The lady's face felt even hotter than before, and she murmured incoherently to herself, before clearing her throat as she spoke up. “Sounds like we're opposites,” she giggled.

As a star fell from the sky, the woman gazed back upwards, eyes growing wide; Aika turned her attention back to Uriel; “Did you see that?” Aika asked, giddy with excitement. “A star just . . . Fell from the sky! Did you see it? It was beautiful!” The girl was almost shaking, ecstatic, as she sat, and she had to quickly swipe her tongue over her fur so it wouldn't stand on end.

Then another fell, and Aika felt her spirits lift; “なんてこった!” She smiled, eyes squinting as her cheeks rose, grin large. She turned her head back to Uriel once more; “You had to see that, right? I'm sure this is meant to be a good sign; I never knew the sky could be so beautiful.” A sign of our budding friendship, Aika thought.

 Hopefully.

It was awkward.

But thank the heavens it was to be broken, as the other mentioned something within the sky and Uriel raised her golden head, and just for a moment, she could see it. Across the sky did the light beam over, disappearing just as quickly as it went, as her own silver-eyes sparkled in the few. Her tail swayed lightly, dog-like in the excitement what she saw and nodding to the other, "it's very beautiful."

It made her nearly forget how the sky exploded before, for what once brought fear was a new look altogether. An aw as she lightly whispered an 'waah,' and smiled brightly at the few.

"It's very beautiful." Uriel agreed, and Aika smiled, happy to hear that she also thought it was pretty. The lady had to resist a "like you" comment, remembering that while speaking about someone else's appearance was kind – at least, in her opinion – speaking about it too much was considered "flirty," and never in her life had she felt that way about someone. Ew. “It really is.”

The silence was comfortable, and the girl couldn't ask for much more, besides one, small, single thing; “Can we . . .” She began, clearing her throat as she looked over to the marigold woman. “. . . Be friends?” How else was one supposed to ask? Sure, meeting up with someone a few times was "friendly" but that didn't officially make you friends, it made you acquaintances! Aika prayed for Uriel to agree. She hadn't had many friends besides . . . well . . . Izumi and Taro?

In this strange new place, anyway. She'd been quite the social butterfly beforehand.

"I would love to be friends!" Maybe she said that a bit too excitingly, but her tail lightly wagged behind with but a smile like a thousand suns. Uriel above all, wanted to be loved. She wanted friends to call her own, she wanted a family ; she wanted to be held and kissed to — that was what she wanted, and although a certain someone was trying.. She actually didn't know how to react when that wish was coming true.

But she was also, very much afraid to lose it, if she gained it.

"Maybe.. Maybe we could meet again, under a full moon?" To continue such a relationship, she surely needed a way to meet the other, and very much the golden dame would like so.
