waking up in this dream world for the second time was not something cassian expected. his dreams were not typically pleasant or warm, but instead filled with screams and the bitter cold. but here, he was graced with green and warmth. the fragrant scent of flowers made his nose wrinkle as he began a slow walk towards a small stream. as the prince lowered his head to lap at the curiously warm water, his brows furrowed in confusion. perhaps he had grown used to the chill of the vale's streams, and this was something he wasn't used to. either way, this place was foreign to the man, and he had full intention to explore it for himself.

as he padded along, a familiar shape soon came into sight and it made cass pause mid-step. of course this would be their next meeting. though he did wonder if she had brought him here. dianthe was always there, but his eyes had always been on vanille, even when he knew it would go nowhere. was this a chance to speak to the girl he never gave a second glance at?

“dianthe.” he called softly, voice no higher than a whisper. cass was unsure if she was even awake. even though he wanted to confirm his suspicions, he refused to wake her. cassian would not make her another victim of his volatile emotions. at least, not yet.

 The spring-like air brushed the woman’s cheeks, intertwining through her fur and filtering her scent along the land. Plush grass tickled against her nose, nostrils flaring at the sensation before a sneeze vibrated her form. Silver-blue orbs would finally glance at the world around her, this was not the land of ice and grey. Instead, she was greeted with greenery and brightly colored flora. Confusion gripped her emotions, wondering if she had been sleepwalking… that would be impossible… The only plausible explanation was that she was still dreaming.

 The world held a certain tinge of magic, like she had experienced in a lucid dream before. She had control of her body - her mind awake while physically she slept. Her ears would flicker, hearing a distinct voice coming from behind her. The brunette turned to face a familiar form, eyes of brass and fur the color of snow. He looked different in this light, the landscape made him almost ethereal.

 Blinking slowly, why would she dream of him? She knew the answer, but refused to acknowledge her feelings. She had made up her mind long ago to stand by his side as a friend, though wishing for something more. If this was indeed just a dream, perhaps she could be more brazen with her advances.

 A smile curved her lips, moving her to all fours, “Cassian.” She called to him, breathily, unsure if even in a dream she could follow through with her attraction to him, “Stealing yourself away in my dream I see.”
