He laid to sleep. Then he woke. But this was no oasis.

Blinking sleepy eyes opened, he looked to the distance. It was an unfamiliar place. Surreal, almost. Was it a dream?

But no, it couldn't be. It felt too real. And when he squinted, a shadowed form lay not too far off on the distance.

It almost looked like @Selkie.

Little shadow... is that you?

The harder he looked, the more it became reality.

Lip curling into a soft, boyish grin, he lifted from the earth.

The closer he stretched, the further her scent drew into his nostrils. Petals, sweet and sickly. It was almost too good to be true, but at this point, he didn't care if it was a dream or not. This was all he wanted. To be here.

And now, just for her to see him. To come to him. To be his.

"Trodaiche."

She whispered the word so sweetly. So reverently. He was drawn in so close. How could he stay away?

Circling her resting form, his nose drew along her spine in a tender caress. It invited more of her alluring scent, and he took it all in with eagerness.

“My little shadow,” he purred, his breath hot as it fanned along her skin.

She stretched up to be against his body. He hummed a low, timbre note in welcoming.

Encasing her frame with his own, he pulled her close with a forearm. Nuzzling her cheek with his nose, he breathed heavily in eagerness.
