Spent the most of it tongue tied

Well after he was done making google-y eyes to Ira from a distance, Hieronymous was off to continue on his merry way. The night was settling in and Hiero was out for a little walk before heading off to bed for his usual half-sleep until a midnight stroll would call for him. Well, after a couple nightmares would wake him up and a walk would be the only remedy to lull him back to sleep.

Back to Ullargraig he went to listen to the falls and watch as the stars would come out from behind the light cover of clouds. There was a light sweet scent in the air that he couldn't put his paw on... if only his nose was more keen like the others he could have maybe known right off the bat that they were fruit. Instead, he sniffed the air with no real purpose other than to enjoy the light perfume he could pick up.

Ah, if only he had someone else to tell him what it was - or enjoy it with him.

"Hey there, done being a sap to Ira?" There was only a few individuals in Vanderfell; two she hasn't met, though one that Orlaith generally knows, yet it seemed he was a runaway. The other was an unknown woman brought to Vanderfell, and unknowingly at the time, there was another woman added to their ranks that was suspiciously familiar. However now with mind amiss, she no longer remembered anyone during that time. Memories, lost twice now.

"You smell that?" As summer was ripe to the picking and fall was heading toward them, fruit had ripened, and bees, were harvesting.. A harmony of scents, which made the fire-born woman rather thirsty.

“Hmmm —” The jester let his eyes wander as though deep in thought, pursing his lips to add to the masquerade he was playing. “I don't think I could ever truly be done.” Those same eyes rolled over to greet Orlaith, a smile finding its way back to his maw so flawlessly easily done. Frankly he could gush about Ira all day and night if he was allowed - if it wouldn't just piss Ira off and chase her away.

Essentially if he looked at her long enough, and hoped his little flirting would come through ... maybe one day she will cave and give him a chance.

Try everything instead of just being up front. At least for now.

It was just too soon.
 
“Smell what?” He wanted to know what he too was smelling. “That sweet stuff?” What was it Orlaith? Please tell him, show him maybe!

Orlaith held a face of disgust at the obvious. She couldn't imagine being in that love, much less feeling it. It wasn't that she was opposed to it, it was just very hard to imagine settling down to someone like so, and doing googly-eyes at them. The warrior never even had a crush, the closest she got was a friend who was now but a distant memory, a blur in her head, it was a sad factor.. But she got over it, there'll be others.

"The honey, or the rum?" She joked of both lightly treading the air, though the drink was less detectable. She could smell an apple faintly at the floor, rotting away with minor juices most likely leaking out - a good stomping could release the rest of the fermented wonders, she so thought. Then the most delectable of it all... Honey!

Okay well perhaps he was being too obvious about his romantic interest - but how else was he to let others know that he was interested in Ira and see if she too could sense it and break that ice for him? So far, no luck. It was starting to feel like he would have to sack up and flat out tell her himself one day.

But all good things come with time, and he was a patient man. Plus, how could he not ogle? She was beautiful, and every day was a damn blessing so he would enjoy every bit of it when he could until this disease of his would make his final day clear.
 
“I don't know, they smell pretty similar to me.” He followed after orlaith as she sniffed at some kind of fallen, rotten apple. Something that made his own nose curl at the thought of eating it, but she... well, she seemed intrigued. “I wouldn't eat that.” He cautioned, not wanting to get his packman sick or something on his watch.

At least the man would not have a rival with that sort of behavior. Not many would compete with someone so open about their love - hell especially with someone higher rank then most. If she remembered correctly, while all except the High Queen were commoners, they were on the peak of so. She didn't care too much about the thought, until someone was above her, only then it was the issue.

"Drip it with some honey, and it makes you feel delicious, but we'd need to steal some." Her snout moved toward a nearby tree, though it was high, one could see the bee's buzzing around in a curiosity. She could at least tell their hive was relatively near, if not higher up in the tree. It was a golden rule to never take the whole one, or else they'd have trouble rebuilding, and she'd have trouble gathering more! Take a comb and flee like no tomorrow- bees were a menace when angry.

“Have you done it before?” He quirked a brow looking over at the tall woman. Still apprehensive of putting anything of the sorts in his body with the fear of what it might do to him if he couldn't tell something was wrong. But maybe if she ate something like this before, and by the sound of how she described it, she did - maybe he would be more brazen to try as well.

Orlaith followed the sound of buzzing, and so did Hiero. Looking up as to where the sound came from, he wasn't afraid of the sight of stingers - provided someone would help pick them out later - but he wasn't one to go mess around with a hive just for the fun of it. “You're serious aren't you?” He was apprehensively excited. “Do you have a plan? I mean... you are taller.” He said playfully, seeing if she would just take it and go for the honey herself instead of thrusting it onto the man who cannot feel the pain being inflicted on him.

He wondered what would be considered more rude...

"Hell yeah man, it's a ride." Though it wasn't a very much like some forbidden mushrooms, it made you feel wild. For Orlaith it gave her a calmity, a clarity of sorts where her mind is like a daze and buzz, and issues where she would momentarily hesitate would be no more. If she was bold before, during those moments she was like Hercules himself. Something giddy about it, like you don't need to think for it simply does for oneself - a weird state to enter in that she enjoyed. It numbed any pains around, as well as just tasting good.

"I stand on you, or you stand on me?" She hummed slightly though at the thought, not really enjoying having someone step upon her. By logic, she should be the one to do so, but by the look of her eyes, the woman was expecting him to drop.

Well colour him intrigued. A ride would be nice if he could feel it he supposed - frankly Hieronymous wasn't even certain if he could given his state but heck, he was willing to try something new at least once. “Okay, I'm in.” He said with a certain determination in his tone.

Her suggestion was pretty straight forward, it made sense but by the way she looked at him Orlaith already knew what she wanted here. And he stood there for a moment pondering the situation. Staring at her, and back up at the bees. Both options had their ups and downs. He was smaller than her, significantly so even if he was just above average but not quite tall; but he was strong.

Abnormally muscular from constantly pushing himself past his body's limits whereas for most it would stop them from going further for the sake of injuries... It also meant with her shoving her face in the bees, he didn't have to deal with stingers later he couldn't feel. So, with a decision made, he dropped as her eyes demanded. Confident that he could carry her weight for as long as she needed and all he had to do was eat, and rest up tonight.

She was satisfied with situations going her way, especially as another victim was brought into her unhealthy obsession with the mixture of alcohol and honey. Though especially honey! Hiero surely wasn't the first, nor' will he be the last for the woman to lure to gain her special desires. She had a rather happy-go-grin while he plopped down, bracing for the woman to heave her rather heavy body ontop of him. One paw at a time she did, as Orlaith huffed and puffed, and placed her backlegs onto him, and the rest of her body ontop of the tree.

Though it didn't last long as she swatted her nearby the hive, the bee's now swarming angerly.. She managed to perfectly slam her paw against the hive, and instead grabbing the whole a bit as she intended- they were not tall enough. As horror set in while the hive was knocked down from it's branch, she was quick to get off of Hiero, and flee from the bees.

Even if he couldn't feel the pain of her heavy body now pushing against him against the earth, he could feel the pressure she was exerting and oh how his limbs would feel heavy later on tonight. Gritting his teeth as he fought against the limbs and their desire to crumble, pleading for mercy, he would push against it until successfully bringing Orlaith closer to the golden nectar she sought.  

If anyone was to wonder why an average sized man could be so muscular and stronger than most of his stature, this was fucking why. Legs muscles protruded as he fought to keep his balance as she moved to lean against the tree, veins bulging along the shorter fur in his legs as his muzzle instinctively clenched as he waited for her to do her thing.

Luckily for them she wasn't fat. A healthy, tall and strong woman, but not fat. And for that, he was thankful.  

And as he distracted himself with thoughts a random thud caught his attention as his eyes focussed on the hive falling just in front of him - and the sudden weightlessness on his back as Orlaith ran. You gotta be kidding me were the only rapid thoughts that crossed his mind before he too began to flee in a random direction away from the grenade of a nest and hoping, hoping they would go after the woman who disturbed them.

The scene before was a buzzing of sound, as two wolves ran in desperate directions at the bees who separated and chased them both down. Orlaith, who was a generally athletic woman and was not the one to be the stool, was doing relatively well on escaping around.. She didn't know where exactly to go though, as her forested gaze went to the similar panicked man who ran. Unknowingly, was wishing they went after her, but the Gods would say both should be punished!

"Water!" So the warrior exclaimed, a rapid turn about to dodge the upcoming swarm and a quick leap to where the body of liquid was; the waterfall.

Oh good the swarm just split up and chased them both down. Hieronymous already had a few stingers on his ass unknowingly, just running as far and as fast as he could. Orlaith yelled something abut jumping into water and he had no breath in his lungs to yell out that bees were likely to wait for her to come out again rather than giving up.

His route was to just keep running until they gave up. Down the mountain to use gravity to his advantage as opposed to climbing up and back to Vanderfell's dens. He would run away instead, down the mountain side and as far as he could get until they were done. Later on he would find himself picking stingers out his tail and ass if his skin didn't just push it out later.

Though remerging the water, the bees attacked! They waited! Her screams could be heard from the valley as her face was delivered on the on slaughter of the stingers, and the fallen bees welcoming into the water. Even if she tried to swim toward shore they continued, and her poor nose and cheeks were starting to swell from the bees! Hiero wasn't around to guide away some of them, as half the hive was chasing him, and the other half dutifully stung her so.

All of them.

With so, a face of stingers and puff, she grabbed the honeycomb, and went back defeated..
